I know that this is the morally better choice. My question is: why? I used to live by the golden rule. But if I am going to be punished for treating people how I want to be treated, then "why"? I think I might try the boundary thing in any new relationship for a while and give zero tolerance before pointing out that they crossed a line. All my current relationships though are lost hope.
