1	Any men here struggling with depression? I miss the old internet. At least those forums/sites were trying to cheer you up through comedy and half-assed memes. Today, it's 100 times more toxic than it used to. And most people weren't even on those forums. 2	Men in Media. Is it illegal to have masculine qualities? Yep. Anyone could relate to Ripley. Even war veterans with PTSD. Another highlight is the comical back and fourth between the grunts and Vasquez. She was the quintessential tomboy, and there's no question they'd write her as trans today. I'm not a Christian (born Hindu), but I find solace in spiritual books like the Bhagavad Gita and the Bible. It's probably the only thing keeping me sane at this point. For the bible, I tend to stick to the Gospels and Paul's teachings. For example, in 1 Corinthians 7, Paul said men and women should be on equal footing and should satisfy each other's needs. I tend to stick to the older shows and movies because the men and women are generally on equal footing, with certain exceptions. I think it's crazy how Tom Cruise is still allowed to make movies today. He just has staying power because of those qualities you mentioned. 6	Chronic pain being a man For me, it's not the chronic illness that gets to me. It's the hatred of men that's far worse and depressing.
