At least I capitalize my words and use periods. I also don't make up my own percentages or troll online or off.

Exactly what I thought on my way to work today.

Did I say all? I said the ones I know. I never met a veteran that was happy with his life, that isn't to say that ill never meet one of course. Just saying the ones I've met always seem like half a person, empty. EDIT: I did imply all, I was half awake when I typed that. I read a lot of stories on veterans and had a step dad (divorced my mother) who went insane. He's homeless and does a lot of drugs, he can find plenty of work though I wont lie about that. But what's it worth when you cant even …

Exactly the whole time I was there getting my work papers ready the guy kept saying "Guys only have to sign up" over and over.

No thanks I'm a free spirit who doesn't like the idea of marching to a insanely rich mans drum while my fellow man dies one by one like flies.

After reading this I now realize I never really had a choice in the matter, which is why one of my previous comments said that I was up all night questioning my freedoms... How can I be free if I'm forced to sign a paper I do not agree with? Eventually I would have had to sign up for this..

They told me that the only way I could get a job there was if I was in the selective service. The whole time I was there I couldn't help but think why, I mean it's a one month job and all I'm doing is moving packages. But I'm so desperate for money at this point I didn't really care at the moment.

Why wait for something to happen when we start talking... That's not a good way to run things.

I don't know what part of the country you're from but all the veterans I'm referring to (the ones in there 50's) are homeless and on drugs.

Honestly it's not just that, I mean I can't sleep for other reasons. But I am pretty worried about this, seeing as though I know too many people who have lost their minds to war. Plus veterans in this country are treated like piss..

Yes this is the thing that freaked me out the most, why can't we all have a choice not to sign while still getting jobs and going to school? Why is it that as a male I have to put my life on the line when all I want to do is learn and be a productive citizen...

Didn't look at it that way.

Yeah I figured that much, I've been feeling uneasy about this whole thing though. It's three in the morning and I'm questioning my rights as a citizen. Some times it feels like there is no real freedom, especially when your poor. And the fact that women don't have to sign up just makes me question things even more. Why are old out of date laws still being implemented, is it to make us feel uneasy?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
