How lovely! It can work, quite nicely actually. It's a little tough to make sure there's balance and that all parties have their needs met, but it's worth it.

Honestly? Stop being a bitch. (Before you get all up in arms, know that I’m speaking from experience.) I thought being quick and to the point was an effective way to communicate and while it gets the point across it can come across as being bitchy. Most of the time when we text it comes out “cold” and “uncaring” because, well it is. For example: “We’re out of milk, grab some on your way home.” Ok, kind of a cold tone. No. I would maybe forget to grab the milk from the trunk or to call someone back. I would never have left my 5yo alone at home with the oven on.

My husband said the pain isn't so bad, the worst part was the needles they use to administer the pain medication before they start the procedure. He was pretty sore for a week and then he was fine. He went back to work after a few days.
