Ive heard somewhere that men do have on average a higher sex drive, but every 4th woman has a higher one than the average man…

Id suggest reading this subs overview of mens issues and form a more informed opinion on what our issues today actually are: https://www.reddit.com/r/rbomi/s/mFtW776oIO Furthermore, your view of history is quite one sided and frankly, biased. Treating men like a monolith who is obsessed with controlling women and is angry when the times change and arent like it was 200 years ago. Falling for the Apex Fallacy and saying men have been leaders, which is true for the majority of leaders, BUT for an …

Knew it lol. Of course women can still die during birth, but with todays hospitals that risk has been greatly reduced compared to like 150 years ago

If you‘ve read this chain of comments you would understand why this is an inherently flawed view. „Who do black people get attacked most by? Other black people!“ See the oversimplification of a complicated and nuanced problem? That’s y‘alls favourite tactic, derailing the conversation with shifting the blame and ignorance.

Thats true. Anything will we extremely exaggerated on the internet, and a fight between two chronically online groups will (on the internet) seem like the end of the world. While real issues definitely exist, often it will be blown out of proportion. Glad we could agree on that

First off, ultimatums like „always, never, no one, everyone“ do not exist in real life. So your first statement is wrong. Besides, theres enough evidence of man-blaming on this sub if you look. Although, i see i also generalized in my previous comment, that was wrong. And some caution is always healthy, better safe than sorry, however it shouldn’t escalate into blaming a whole gender like SOME women do. But I must say again, stereotypes are at play here.

It bothers me that women have to deal with being so scared every night out, but then blame men as a collective for it, even though we are much more likely to be attacked. Its a complex issue entangled with societal stereotypes, an ocean of skewed statistics, and feelings.

I think we mean different things when saying „going places at night“. Could you elaborate further what you mean exactly?

Again, thats looking at it with a certain lens on. The traditional definition of violence only looks at „male“ violence, predominantly physical violence. However, if you look at certain statistics which try to be unbiased in their definitions of violence or rape (e.g. CDC Rape statistics), you see that women in today‘s day and age are about as equally violent and rape about as much as men, if you take coercion, getting drugged, tool-assisted violence, being made to penetrate, etc. into considera…

You were the first to bring up feelings mind you. And thats looking only at the specific case of getting raped while out alone at night. Sure, in this case, it most likely happens to women more. However, that‘s ignoring the big picture, men getting attacked 4 times as often as women while out at night. Doesn’t matter if raped or not, you are getting ATTACKED regardless, your life is at risk.

True, but that’s a question of mindset imo. Men are conditioned to not be a pussy (>scared too little) while women are portrayed as weak and at mercy of any and every man on the street (>scared too much).

if you‘d follow our protocol (no makeup, wear whatever, etc.), you‘d also take only 5 minutes to get ready then don‘t choose to get pregnant? But i agree paternal leave has to be revisioned biological „advantage“, nothing we can do except invent stuff for women so they can pee quicker and easier eh, Society not an advantage, just a difference of mindsets

Men are about 4x as likely to be attacked at night iirc. In the end, it‘s just about women‘s feelings…

That is a grossly oversimplified description of a problem with many layers, and quite exaggerated claims, my point that there is a danger still stands
