It sounds like it doesn't make sense. My father worked for two companies his whole life and got regular raises. That's not the way of the world anymore. Companies simply don't show the same loyalty to existing staff that they used to. Let's say you're making $40K. If a promotion isn't available, what would you expect after a good year? Some companies do no raises. Others do cost of living (2ish%). If you're lucky, maybe you'll get 5%. If you're at a fantastic company, maybe they'd give you a 10%…

Her name is Ash. I got her off Craigslist at 8 weeks old. The family that had her for those first 8 weeks showered her with attention so shes really affectionate.

My household as a kid had both. As a single man it's way easier to have a cat. They're very independent. (Going their own way perhaps?) After 6 years it's safe to say I'm a cat person haha.

It makes me sad that this guy was smart enough to become a millionaire but not smart enough to avoid being used by this giant piece of shit. There are other cases I've seen on TRP where it's clear there's no way the guy could have seen it coming. This is not one of them.
