They may simply lack the ability to think about their own actions in an unbiased way, otherwise known as self-reflection. I think this is a problem across genders and isn't seen specifically in women.

This post is pretty sloppy, but I'm going to reply as a woman very close to her dad. I don't want a relationship not because of anything my dad did or didn't do. It is 100% my own choice and is based on my own views on society and humanity.

I told you in my post. You fix yourself and, in the process, realize that true happiness does not come from having a partner but from just being yourself. So I'm single because I'm simply not looking and don't intend to. If someone ever comes along, cool. I'll procreate with them or if I can ever afford it, on my own. But if that doesn't happen, that's OK, too. I've accepted the things I can not control, which is most things in life. I can only control me and my actions in the present moment.

I know why I'm single. It has nothing to do with fear. While this may be true to some or maybe most, it's not the same for all. At some point, the fear is conquered. And when it is and you still don't see results, you realize you're truly happier alone.
