Here's a pretty good one when they did an AMA. Their platform is sexist, and when given a chance to explain, she somehow ended up being even more sexist. link

That's like blaming black people for segregation in the 1960's.

These are separate movements, for seperate genders, with separate issues to deal with. I've never seen a feminist that's okay with the existence of a movement to address male issues.

It's a cool show. I liked the main actor from his role in Need for Speed, and Christian Slater from some 80's movies like Gleaming the Cube and The Legend of Billie Jean, so I gave it a shot and it's pretty good. It's motivated to get back into coding.

Agreed. OP should name them otherwise this comes across as some sort of bait to get us riled up, and it's working.

Since feminism is for everyone, and the main reason they oppose the existence of the MRM, I decided to crosspost it to /r/feminism. Looking forward to exciting and supportive discussion.

Make sure you have a recorder before going in. You can get a half decent one for $40 at Walmart. I would suggest a Zoom H1 though. Just have it barely peaking out of your pocket.

I'm not talking about debating whether the wage gap exists or if "earnings gap" would be a more correct term for it. We already know they probably believe it, so give the impression that you're arguing on their terms. Say something like, "Do gender roles play a factor in the wage gap?" That's it. And then they reply by only talking about women. Maybe they'll say how women were expected to be homemakers, which slowed things down by decades, ignoring that those same homemakers expected their husba…

Ask them about gender roles and see if their answer only addresses women. Then ask them if gender roles affect the "wage gap", and see again if they only address women.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
