Amen to that. I moved to Nashville 3 years ago, and the difference is night and day. Especially true now that constitutional carry is about to go into effect.

DC is extremely anti-gun in addition to being anti-male. It took a Supreme court ruling about 6-7 years ago to force them to allow handgun ownership at all, and even then, they've only licensed 1 gun dealer since then to sell handguns, and hedged so many restrictions around selling them that it's still almost impossible to legally own one. If this guy had one and defended himself, especially if one of these girls died, he would get life without parole (only because DC doesn't have the death pena…

I know several people who feel the same. One of my best friends from high school has both a JD and and MD (doctor 2 ways), and he prefers not to be called Doctor except when he's actually working on duty at his hospital. In his words the term has been watered down so much by all these "basket weaving" degrees that he no longer takes pride in it, despite the decade plus he spent in school between Law school then Med school.

Yes and No. They won the lawsuit, because they placed it as a matter of their religious (I.E. First Amendment) freedom vs anti-discrimination laws that were of a lower level legally. They lost, because they had 100's of thousands of $ in legal bills, and the lefties forced their business to shut down via boycotts, protests, and generally making it so difficult for people to try to even get to the bakery to place orders that the people didn't bother. Not likely TBH. Mosby is a race-baiter and political whore who sells her support and opinions to whatever group she thinks will keep her in office\power. She's also been investigated at least once for ethics violations that I'm aware of before I left MD a couple years ago for much less socialist/progressive pastures.
