Yeah i get that. And for about a year i am studying old books (Pantschatantra, Mahabharata(verse), OT/NT, Various old Fables and Fairy Tales) that reveal ways of dealing with "the consumer world". But, dude, how old are you? I am 23 and i exercise more and more and my testosterone is pumping through my blood like crazy. I need a solid craft or art in which i work myself, not some office or retail job.
