Yeah, I've been shit on more than a few times for calling bullshit whenever we have SAPR training prefaced with "Males can experience sexual harassment and assault, but today we're going to be focusing on male targeting females for sexual assault" because so many of them do. Y'all have made a lot of bold assumptions about my personal beliefs just because I told someone he was wrong.

I don't know where you're quoting "the many women in the military" from, and I never said women are the primary victims or war or even alluded to holding that belief. Anyone who thinks there aren't women who can't experience losses similar to those in the OP is ignorant.

Nowhere did I try to make it sound like a woman's life was more valuable than a man's. I just told that other dude that what he said about women not being able to experience anything from the OP was incorrect.

The very first comment in this chain is literally saying women can't experience this. I said that isn't true and suddenly everyone is all up in arms over it.

I've already said it twice in this thread that it's fucking obvious men are significantly more likely to have an experience similar to one in the OP. All was saying to this dude is that his statement was not true.

Sorry for invading your safe space guy, all I said was women can experience shit from the OP. That's literally just stating a fact, which usually only trigger land whale SJW's.

I completely understand the fuck you attitude that can come towards women in the military. I've seen my fair share of bullshit special treatment that can exist because of their integration. I wouldn't call it the norm, but it definitely happens enough to be easily observable. I used the examples I did to show that you don't need to be on the front lines in some shitty desert on another continent to be at risk. Perhaps I could have used better examples.

We were talking about the fact that there are women who experience the same things being portrayed in the original post. I even said in an earlier comment that it was obvious that men are the vast majority of military deaths.

I'm sure their families and friends that they left behind agree that their deaths were insignificant. I think you're on to something here though, a military made entirely of fucking riflemen is a great idea. Fuck supporting roles that would get them to the front lines, strategize, feed them, keep their records, provide medical support, and all of that other jazz are unimportant. I stumbled here from /r/all, and the title grabbed my attention.

No shit men are more likely to die. There's a fuckton more, and they're generally in more dangerous positions, like you said. Doesn't change the fact that what you said in your original comment is dead wrong.

Fuck if I know. It's not even about who's more likely to die, point is there are women in the military who have or will die, and will or have had fellow service members die in the line of duty.

Shit man, you're right, I forgot you're always safe in the military if you're in a non-combat role. No way a military base could ever be a target, even in the US, right? And women on ships and submarines will be magically saved if they were to be attacked?

Except for, you know, many of the women in the military.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
