4	I was asked why I insist on using the word "egalitarian" to describe myself and why I disliked calling myself a feminist instead, this was how I responded. Opinions? (bit of a wall of text) OP's name is Pete. So your stances are the same. Also, I totally agree with the second part of your comment. I suspect that's entailed in the definition though. 2	Question for female MRAs It can be pretty difficult on the internet. Reddit often heavily downvotes MR-related comments. IRL, I justify myself to the "omg misogyny" by saying that ultimately, I'm a humanist. I support men's right in the areas they're disadvantaged (family courts, false rape claims, assumed to be the guilty party in assault cases etc.), and women's in the areas they're disadvantaged (particularly in non-western cultures). 6	I don't think that word means what you think it means, young lady. Had to explain chauvinism to TwoX TWICE and they still don't get it. It turned into a "safe haven from misogyny" - lots of posts about how wonderful it was not to be downvoted or sexually harassed for mentioning their gender etc etc etc. And then that devolved into "lets talk about how we are victims".
