and sometimes fought. While I agree with nearly your entire post, as a history major who has gone down the rabbit hole of women fighting, this one is a bit exaggerated by feminists. And even when the few most desperate situations necessitated this, it was almost always women participating in the last line of home defense as opposed to being sent somewhere to fight.

This reminds me of years ago, what a friend of mine wrote on his Facebook profile during the Trayvon Martin case. He wrote: "So a Hispanic guy shoots a Black guy and gets acquitted by women, yet it's still the White man's fault."

A good example is the UK in the 60s when homosexuality was still illegal. It was only illegal for men, yet perfectly legal for women.

Exactly. Queer women act like they have it worse because they're women, but anti-LGBTQ persecution was historically aimed at men. For instance when homosexuality was still illegal in the UK in the 60s, it was only male-male sexual activity that was criminalized. Female-female sexual activity was perfectly legal.

Would you be comfortable telling women "you can live as ugly as you want to live, just don't be bitter or resentful when no one wants to have sex with you"? The thing is, guy will still want to have sex with them. A better comparison would be: "you can live as ugly as you want to live, just don't be bitter when no one wants to be in a relationship with you."

It's like when I hear a woman mention "exciting" as an attribute she looks for in a guy. Run!

Moral panics have originated many other times in the US, and more often than not, they target sexuality above all else. The MeToo movement is just the US government's latest attempt to diminish our sexual freedom, because sexual freedom makes people more emotionally united, happier, healthier, and more difficult for governments to control. Religions routinely suppress sexuality for the same reason. What patriarchy theory misses is that governments typically aim to suppress sexuality in general, …

Let me preface that I agree with your overall point 100%, about how men want a woman to want to sleep with them instead of having exterior motives, and I think that's the main reason why more don't go to sex workers. But just to be pedantic, there are two other reasons besides that and cost. One is legal reasons--people don't necessarily want to risk being caught in a sting and getting arrested. And the other is scarcity of sex workers. Contrary to popular belief, partially due to laws and other…

All I can say is, thank God Trump is tall. Can you imagine the hate for short men that would be going around if he was short?

But women interpret these mild preferences as harsh preferences because they’re projecting themselves onto men. I think this is really the root of it, that they project themselves onto men and can't really see (nearly at all) that men don't see things the way they do. Not to get off topic, but I've noticed this phenomenon a lot when it comes to sex and dating. For instance, they think that men feel more valued when they make them wait for sex/intimacy, because that's how they themselves would fe…
