It doesn't matter whether it's an impersonal business transaction or not; you still must be selected as a prospective client every bit as much as she is selected as the carrier. There are carriers who will reject you because they don't like you as a person and don't want to deal with you for the entire conception process and pregnancy. You cannot reproduce on your own. All reproduction is permitted by women, and you cannot escape that. Adoption is an option, but that's not reproduction. I will s…

Right, you're just going up to those women to make friends with them, I suppose?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/25 12:06 AM

You're missing the fact that the surrogate, unless being forced, still needs to consent to the surrogacy, which means a woman stills needs to permit you to reproduce. And unless the surrogate is very poor and very desperate (in which case, she's more likely to be in conditions that are not ideal for your developing child,) she probably has her choice of people for whom to carry, and won't take "anyone who pays." You obviously have no idea what it's like to care for a newborn, let alone by yourse…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/25 09:42 PM

I hate to inform you, bud, but surrogacy still requires a woman willing to gestate your child. Except she instead of doing it for free and helping you parent the child, she'll ask for thousands of dollars and dump the baby on you afterwards.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/25 08:23 PM

No no, not third parties. It takes TWO people to reproduce. So at least one woman has to agree to you impregnating her. If no woman wants that to happen... I'm sorry hun, but women have collectively decided you are unfit for reproduction.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/25 06:24 PM

Who do you think you are that you think you should get to reproduce?

Seeking them out and giving them your number is chasing them 🤦
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/25 02:28 PM

There are probably other reasons for those behaviors

Men only get female pursuants when they are Chad. Most men are not Chad. Therefore generally speaking, men pursue, women select.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 01:17 PM
1

Men are the pursuants and women are the selectors, typically. The kneeling is to symbolize that he wants to dedicate his provision and protection to her for all his life, and he's asking her to choose him as a lifetime partner and forsake all her other options. It's like a kneeling before royalty to be knighted and pledge fealty. It's romance, you see. You should try it sometime.

But you need to make a valid argument for why you think society should change its current opinions. You haven't.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 01:09 PM

Also I saw SO many hot women yesterday
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 01:07 PM

I watched the cutest little baby I've ever seen for the church service yesterday. She had the prettiest icy blue eyes and big chubby cheeks and delicate little cupid bow lips, and her arms and legs were covered in sun-toasted rolls (you know how the sunlight doesn't get in between them so they're darker on top but still pale in between? Amazing.) But she was HEAVY and she wouldn't let me put her down or hand her off for the ENTIRE HOUR, and today my biceps are cooked 😅 My regular upper body days…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 01:04 PM

Are you sure that's not a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 12:59 PM

I don't understand this insistence that hookups don't bother to get women off? Like typically men find women getting off to be hot and ime they try pretty hard to do it, especially if they want to fuck her again
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 12:57 PM
1

Right, and Western society determined that women should be allowed to sleep with whomever they please, and men who feel some type of way about it are icky. Suggesting this needs to be inverted is not "holding women accountable." Your argument is circular.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 12:55 PM
2

Maybe we need to "hold men accountable" for the underlying beliefs about sex and women that typically accompany n count "preferences." Cuz all you're really doing here is making a circular argument: Women shouldn't sleep around --> because I don't like it --> Women don't like that I don't like it --> we need to hold them accountable for sleeping around by making them accept that I don't like it --> then women wouldn't sleep around, as they shouldn't --> because I don't like it...
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/25 06:07 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/25 03:37 PM

Have you tried being chadly?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/25 03:36 PM

There are so many ugly to average looking men with attractive personalities... They will talk their way into your pants and then one day you look up at them in bed and get the ick and then it's ovar
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/25 03:30 PM
5

What does "holding them accountable" look like, in this instance? The particular men who care about n count not selecting high n women as partners? I have news, friendo, neither high n women nor low n women find low-n-count-"preferences" to be attractive traits in partners either. You're not punishing them by filtering yourselves out of the dating pool; you're doing them a favor.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/25 11:58 PM
3

Of course women compare partners. Literally everyone does. That's why you just focus on getting gud at sex
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/25 11:53 PM

Right, of course it's women's fault if men want to treat them nicely, because they're not aware of their own simpery.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 08:09 PM

Neither is bad. I did sex work in the past; I don't feel worse about myself for doing so. I also didn't look down upon my male clients. However, I think the people buying sex are often resorting to that when they can't get it for free. (Though some of them just do it because it's easier than seducing/dating people.)
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 07:39 PM

People are happiest when they don't engage in those things. The simplest things in life give pleasure to those who aren't dopamined out

A woman told me I smell good yesterday and I was so fucking pleased. Not only because it was a compliment from a woman, but because I mix up my own signature scented body oil. She wanted to know if I sold it. 💁‍♀️

And people should also be honest about their n count preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 06:00 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 05:57 PM

Why do you keep trying to impregnate these women?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 05:56 PM

I think you should probably look for more IOIs than just "being nice" because every female customer service worker is obligated to "be nice."
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 05:56 PM

It's the easiest way to get casual sex if that's what you're looking for. You're probably attractive yourself if you're being shown stacies.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 05:55 PM

Male attention is valuable if you know how to capitalize on it. Only dumb men are worried about gold diggers. Of course men want young and beautiful women. Most men do not think in terms of alpha/beta. Many are perfectly happy to provide for their families and don't care at all how much their partners make. Get yourself a well-paying career only if that's what you want, not because it's what you, as a woman, have to do.

I WISH it was propaganda. It's my experience, and the experience that women everywhere share. Either their husbands are useless when it comes to caring for the kids, or they have to be taught, and they still don't do things as well as the mums do it. They do not automatically think, "Oh, hey, we have to leave for church at 8; maybe I should wake up at 7:00 and help my wife get the kids ready so she doesn't have to wake up at 6:30, instead of waking up at 7:45 and only worry about getting myself …

Mum here. You should expect to be the default parent as a woman, because you carry the babies for 9-10 months at a time and feed them from your own body, and that has profound, fundamental, scientifically proven effects on your brain and capability as a parent. Women are quite simply more attuned to their children's needs, more invested in their safety and wellbeing, and more likely to need to take time off work by virtue of the nature of female reproductive processes. It is virtually all-consum…

This is why men who care about n count need to be upfront about their "preferences" in dating, so that they don't waste women's time

This woman is scaring away the men with her make up and desperation. I used to be a "fuckgirl" during my hoephase. Many men were sad that I would fuck them, but wouldn't commit to them. I don't imagine they felt "used" though, so much as rejected
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 11:05 PM

Big heat wave swept through my state last week, and I neglected to water the baby tomato plants I bought. I thought for sure they were dead, with all the leaves wilting and the stems having collapsed, and yet the cherry tomatoes were still somehow growing on them. So I went ahead and planted them in my garden beds anyway, and gave them some supports and a healthy serving of compost, and just as soon as I was finished, a huge storm swept in and downpoured all over them. Surely that would have pum…

You are not the OP; therefore it is pointless for you to dictate the terms of this hypothetical. There's no reason to be like, "Okay you asked 40 people out and now you found your ideal person who wants to be with you forever... But what if what you want isn't actually what you want???"

They're trolling
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 11:45 AM

I'm pretty good at it, but that was also one of my AuDHD obsessions
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 11:44 AM

Where does semen go if you don't ejaculate? does the body reuse it, or does it get eaten by macrophages or something? Just wondering, cuz I got my fallopian tubes yoinked, and now my ovary yeets my eggs into the abyss, to be cleaned up by some biological process. I was wondering if it was the same for men, or if their bodies do something useful with their gametes.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 11:42 AM

Be quiet and go back to competing for female attention like the rest of the males
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 11:38 AM

"they wait for their wives to go and do the filing" in the instances where men are checking out
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 01:28 AM

Unless the reason is "sex = intimacy and I want to have it with as few people as possible and also for my partner to feel that way," it's almost certainly a gross belief about women and/or sex in general
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 01:27 AM

Woah woah woah. I never said "all divorces initiated by women are due to men mentally checking out." I said "in a lot of instances"
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 01:25 AM

I haven't downvoted you. I think there's a difference between maintaining a relationship for a relatively long amount of time while intentionally trying not to know someone's n count lest you dump them like a sack of potatoes and gradually finding out simple things like you hate someone's laugh and realizing it's just not gonna work... /r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 06:13 PM

What a catch
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 06:05 PM

That is the literal etymology of the word and how I understand it, which is, neutrally, someone who does not engage in promiscuous behavior. You simply cannot be like, "No, you liar, that's not what you think." Otherwise there is no point in attempting to communicate with you. Again, there's nothing inherently negative about vanilla prudes, and it's not my fault if some men deem those individual to be incompatible or undesireable. ETA: I am also a woman in a heterosexual marriage, so...
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 05:56 PM

I don't view "prude" as an insult. Again, it is not an inherently negative trait to have a conservative sexuality. It is what it is. The word "prudish" originates from the French word "prude," which itself comes from the Old French "prudefemme," meaning "loyal, respectable, or modest woman". How am I moving the goalpost? The original comment was that high n people are so quick to throw low n women under the bus, but was unwilling to give examples. I was explaining something I have said in the pa…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 05:37 PM

I'm telling you that they are not inherently negative traits. If you don't desire sex that often, you just don't desire sex that often. If you're not interested in exploring non-traditional sex acts, you're not interested. You shouldn't feel pressured to do either of those things, and the individuals who do desire sex more frequently or do like to explore more aren't inherently "better" or more virtuous in any way. Now, if you're a kinky, high libido individual, are you going to want a vanilla, …
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 05:25 PM

That's your interpretation. There's nothing inherently wrong with being vanilla or having low libido. If that's not something you want, that's you not desiring them, not me painting them in an undesirable light.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 05:10 PM

To share mutual responsibilities in a way they agree is equitable and satisfactory To share all that they have To consider and honor the common welfare of the couple/family when making decisions To be emotionally supportive to one another, and remain together for better or for worse To keep the love alive To satisfy each other sexually To effectively parent their children, should they have them I'm sure I'm missing some big ones, but here are some
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 05:06 PM

Also not being present with them, not trying to improve the situation, not keeping them happy and together... (and that goes both ways.) If one partner stops doing any of that, and simply waits for the other to divorce him/her, that's not "fulfilling his/her duty" as a spouse. That's breaking the agreement and being lazy about getting it done legally.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 03:15 PM

It just seems to me that the particular man I was talking to, and others like him, wanted for there to be consequences for slutty women like me, and he was mad that there isn't. Like "accountability" was just a word thrown around in the manosphere places he'd been frequenting where they preach "sluts are bad and end up miserable" and he was just parroting it without much thought
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 03:01 PM

Mentally checking out of your marriage is not "fulfilling your duty"
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 03:00 PM

Right, okay. I made a choice to be promiscuous. There have not been consequences... I'm not sure what the point is
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 02:50 PM

What's important to recognize with that statistic is that "initiating divorce" means "filed the paperwork," not necessarily that women unilaterally elected to end the marriage. What happens in a lot of instances is that men become unhappy within their marriages and mentally check out, but not legally, because that's either too much trouble, or too financially costly. They wait for their wives to actually go and do the filing.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 02:48 PM

I don't know if it would make much sense if you were to answer for someone else. But one time I heard someone say, "Women need to take accountability for being sluts," and I was like, "What do you mean?" and he wouldn't give me a straight answer. At one point he said "Take accountability for how your life turned out!" And I was like "I like how my life turned out though. It's great... I'm still not sure what you're wanting here?" And he just got angry and then stopped replying.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 02:44 PM

Exactly. I've heard from lots of low n women that they've even started telling men their n counts are higher than what they actually are just to weed out the ones that care. It's not attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 02:40 PM

I suppose that's a good thing, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 02:08 PM

Often times they can't, in the specific context that they're saying it
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 02:08 PM

Did he report feeling any better afterwards?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 01:41 PM

I usually ask them "What do you mean by 'accountability?' what would taking accountability look like, to you?"
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 01:40 PM

If it were some simplistic preference or "evolved instinct" in men, as some of them insist, instead of gross beliefs that were socialized into them, you would think it would be common practice and save people a lot of time.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 01:35 PM

I used condoms in probably 99% of my sexual encounters until I started wanting to become pregnant by the man I was fucking (my husband.) There were a couple instances where I just forgot in the moment, or elected not to use them because both myself and my partner had gotten STD testing done and he was sterile (vasectomy or from cancer.) The only potential negative consequences are STDs and unwanted pregnancy, and those are well-known and easily mitigated.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 12:47 PM

Men who care about n count should be explicit and upfront about it when dating, the same way women should be upfront about their sexual history. It doesn't make any sense to risk investing a lot of time and energy into a person if there's a risk that finding out about their sexual history can spell the end of a relationship; you kind of owe it to any potential partner to let them know you feel this way. My advice for you would be to actually ask your potential partners. For some people, it’s more about emotional compatibility, long-term trust, or personal comfort, not moral judgment. Everyone has different boundaries shaped by their own experiences and values. I'm trying to understand what you mean. How does one's n count affect emotional compatibility, long term trust, and personal comfort, without having an underlying judgement about n counts? The reasons men give for "preferring" low n counts are indicative of shameful views and thought processes regarding women and sex. (With the exception being men who believe that sex = intimacy and it's only meant to be had with as few people as possible, and who also practice that themselves. That's fine.) The vast majority of people take a casual approach to relationships until they find somebody worthy of more commitment. You don't find someone to marry without going on dates and getting to kn…

Hubby and I share locations and also can see the locations of our cars through the Tesla app. It's mostly for safety and convenience, but I also like that we don't have anything to hide. So, yeah, practical. We didn't really talk about it though; just kind of did it when we needed to share locations, and didn't turn them off.

Examples? I have said in the past that I think it's more likely for low n women to be prudish or low libido, because people who feel less desire for sex/non-vanilla sex are going to face less temptation, making it more likely that their n counts stay low and less likely for them to explore sexually. People will respond with, "No! They just actually self control!" as if I had insulted them and they now feel the need to indirectly insult people with higher n counts...

And they fit those women's standards because they have other characteristics that are of value to women. I feel like much of my life has been spent centered around men. When I was young (probably from about 12/13 to 17) all I wanted was a boyfriend. I felt lonely and unliked and couldn't figure out why boys were interested in other girls but not me. My self esteem was really low. Then it became about sex for me, mostly heterosexual sex. I spent a lot of free time seeking that out. Then it was, "Hmm, men will do nice things for me if they find me attractive and if I date and have sex with them" and …

I'm gonna need you to keep up. Women do pick short and broke men IF they have other things going for them. If they're not being picked for long periods of time, it's almost always because there's something unattractive about them that they either won't fix, don't want to fix, or aren't aware of. When incels say "Forget about your present standards and date these men who you aren't attracted to or compatible with, who are struggling to get dates..." Short men and broke men with acceptable personalities and who have other attractive qualities find partners just fine. The men who "deserve a chance" according to incels and unattractive men are not being picked for a reason.

The bitter men are the ones who aren't being picked and have decided that that's the fault of women or society at large rather than changing to be more attractive. They often give advice to women that would make it so men like them have a better chance of securing a partner, rather than advice that would actually benefit the women in question. It's a tale as old as time.

I think it is also best to explore sexually before you settle down, and have the sex you want to have when you have the opportunity, without shame. Most women want to have children, and they will face the consequences of having children whether they want those to be the consequences of having children or not. It's literally in women's best interest to secure a high-earning life partner. You can't reduce that to "willful perpetuation of gendered roles." It IS biologically necessary. The sexes will never be equal. Women are the ones who get pregnant, give birth, have to recover from birth, and breastfeed. We're the ones who take care of everyone when they're sick; men lay on the couch for three days, or stay away to keep well, because they can't handle sickness. These things take tolls on women's careers and long-term earning ability, and make it so that if anyone stays home with young children (which is the best thing for them), it's almost always the woman. There's nothing…

Q4M: You and your lady are having sex. She orgasms from it (maybe even multiple times.) Afterwards, you're lying in bed next to each other and you realize she's masturbating. You ask her why, and she says either: A) "The sex we had was so hot, I got horny again just thinking about it!" or B) "Sometimes you get me halfway to another orgasm when you finish; I'm just getting myself the rest of the way there." Human's feet are designed to naturally distribute weight so the body can move ergonomically, and the toes are meant to spread for increased balance. When we put shoes on (which are not feet shaped at all; they have too-narrow toes and the ends often curve upwards) especially when we start wearing them young when our bones are still developing, they change the structure of the feet to match the shape of the shoe. Lots of shoes also have arch support in them, which ends up actually weakening the m…

afraid you can't measure up to the other men she's been with -> Insecure. That's like the definition of insecurity; that's worrying some aspect of yourself is "not enough" for the person you're with and they will leave you because of it. I did not take my husband's last name. My mum gave me hers because her step father adopted her, and the name became important to her. I just don't get the female resistance to paternity testing. If you could do something simple to reassure your partner that he's not having the wool pulled over his eyes in like, the worst way, why wouldn't you just agree with it? Sometimes people have anxiety that isn't directly related to a partner's character or behavior; that's why it's "anxiety." Men wanting paternity tests aren't direct accusations of infidelity.

I'm aware that there is some sort of special status that SEA women enjoy if they can lock down a foreigner, and that they may enjoy dating them. Women can still get partners easily if they're not fit but also not overweight, and they can still get partners with a little more difficult/get lower quality partners if they are overweight. Their social status is not increased by having more muscle mass. Men have a much harder time getting partners if they are not fit, and they are respected less by other males if they have little muscle mass.

PIV is meant to feel good for women too. It's my personal favorite part of sex; I prefer it to clitoral stimulation. You need to be slightly longer than the woman's vagina, such that you go into the pocket next to the cervix... That length varies from woman to woman, and whether A spot stimulation is pleasant is an individual thing as well. There are plenty of women okay with non-curved penises too.

Tired of working parents saying they do “everything SAHPs do” but also work full time. Like I assure you, you are not caring for your 6 toddlers and 20 pets while you are working. They’re at daycare for most of the day, making a mess there instead of your home. And the ones that are partnered are presumably sharing the housework, so it is halved, and they assume SAHP have to “stretch the chores to fill the days.” Trust me, there is PLENTY to do, especially if your property is more than 10 square…

It’s a possibility that people who marry without vetting for several years are more likely to end up with cheaters. Cheating and addictions can be worked through, even if you have to separate while the affected partner attends rehab/therapy.

The guy’s last name is Barr. Where did you measure from? From the base of my wrist to the inside point of my elbow is ~12 inches. I’m a bit under 5’5; the human wingspan is supposed to be a bit under your height, so it makes sense for a little less than half of one of my arms to be about a foot. I’m actually remarkably good at estimating size/length/volume/distance. It’s like an autistic side effect

My forearm is about 12 inches long; it was only slightly shorter than that. It was literally monstrous, and only a little more than half would fit… extremely uncomfortable. Very, very few people can hide their true colors for literal years. There are women getting married after knowing a man for 6 months saying "Why do you have to wait so long? When you know, you know." There are women getting married without having lived with their boyfriends first. And of course, there's a tonnnn of babies born out of wedlock all the time. I'm pretty sure there's a ton of people not vetting properly.

Women vary considerably with anatomy and sensation preferences. Some women have shorter or longer vaginas, more or less sensitive cervixes, uteruses in different positions, vagisimus, butts that get in the way or long backs... Plus the variation in cervical height throughout each woman's cycle. Some women really like A and G spot stimulation; others find it to be too intense or straight up unpleasant. All of those things are going to affect size (and shape!) preferences. Personally, I have an ab…

Yeah, I'm guessing that has to do with the divorcees' attitude towards divorce... If they chose wrong the first time, or maybe didn't try hard enough to fix things with their spouse, and decided to walk away, and survived that just fine, they probably feel like they could do it again. Even more so if they did it twice and were okay.

In romantic relationships, you don't "get paid," but you do benefit from having a partner who makes your life better. Also, there are plenty of adult student-teacher relationships. There are lots of human relationships that are leader-follower that aren't like being owned. People in age gap relationships typically relate to each other just fine, usually either because the younger person is an “old soul” or the older person is “young spirited,” or both. Like, you aren’t restricted to your own generation of culture or experiences; you can continually seek out what’s modern in addition to learning about the past. Most men wouldn’t *date* younger women because, like you, they are socialized to see them as children. But most men see youthful adult women as more physica…

I read an article today that detailed Elon Musk's activities to build his "legion" of children with which to one day occupy Mars, and how he offered St. Claire 15 million dollars and 100k a month to have his baby and keep quiet about it being his kid (she didnt take the deal!!!) Q4W: Would you have Elon Musk's baby for 15 mil + 100k a month? I would, if my husband let me. (he said no!) In reality, most men are accepting of a range of n counts, many of them very wide ranges. Men will also say they care about n count if you ask them... but if a pretty woman comes along who has other traits they value, they're very willing to overlook n count.

We'll see.. my husband says my angry voice is terrifying, but if that doesnt work, my only other options are to haze them with physical activity/pointless work or to give them negative paperwork, and I'd really hate to have to do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 10:45 PM

Are they on them in the middle of the workday? Are you often seated/standing close enough to see their screens? It doesnt matter who paid for the assets. They are split in half when a couple divorces. Your options prior to that were joint ownership of 100% of the assets while remaining married, or individual ownership of 50% of the assets when divorced. Divorce is disincentivised. Tax breaks incentivize people to get and remain married. What is meant to happen is that people get 50/50 custody of their children unless they go to court to have it specifically different. The court is meant to assess which pa…

Raping an animal is harming it for no reason. Humans are naturally omnivorous and generally have to kill animals to thrive, though nowadays most people just eat factory farmed meat killed by someone else instead of hunting it. side note: I was pondering if i could bring myself to kill an animal and decided that if i couldnt, i'd go vegetarian... Found out squirrels and game birds are really tasty.

Women age the same regardless of their marital status, but the reason whe "the wall" is scary is because you end up with fewer options. Married women dont need to worry about having options anymore. Plus, if you marry young, you have more time as a maximally attractive woman during which you can build a life and bonds with your husband which will generally keep him attracted to you (love goggles. provided you dont like, let your hygiene and body fat percentage go to shit.)

Sometimes creeks can be pretty deep. maybe something waterproof to carry your clothing/belongings in in the event the crossings are deep (you might have to strip) or slippery (dont wanna drop your stuff in the water and have it get wet or carried away). I thought this was going to be about a man You don't take in strays; you take them to the vet/shelter if it's cold, or you keep them secured outside until you can locate the owner. It's safe to adopt a dog from the shelter once they've been examined, bathed, and given preventative flea, tick, and worm medications. You have to get them a look-over if you take them into grassy/wooded areas, too.

Don't sleep with desperate dudes but also not the ones that are significantly hotter than you that you're actually attracted to... and the ones you do sleep with should be attractive and attracted to you (but also they'll lie to you and say they're attracted even if they're not because they're desperate to get in your pants...) Idk, sometimes I just wanted a quick fuck or their expression of pleasure wasn't that sexy to me. I still did my best. I never asked for feedback, but lots of men will ask for specific things if you show you're interested in their pleasure, and coach you into doing it the "right" way. Then you're aware of more things to try with consecutive partners, and sometimes you show them something they didn't even know they liked... What you're describing sounds nightmarish and not at all consistent with …

They could be looksmaxxed but he could still find her unattractive and thus consider the sex to be dumpster diving... So what do you suggest women do when they want casual sex? Fuck men they're not attracted to, or significantly less attracted to than their other options, in the hope that those ones don't consider their sex to be "dumpster diving" and that they'll put in some effort? This all sounds insane and not at all consistent with my experience as a casual sex haver

>Because people who GAF are hoping for more than a one and done encounter. Not necessarily ? I mean, I did my best to please my casual sex partners. And I've had a lot of casual partners enjoy pleasing me as well. What kind of sex are you people having??

I thought it was pretty common knowledge at this point that men lower their standards considerably on dating apps I mean, it's common on here... Even if you're aware of that, what if you don't think of yourself as less attractive than him? If she's a 4 fucking a 4, why would she assume he sees the sex as dumspter diving? Or maybe she thinks she's a 6 and he's a 4 Obviously if he came out and said "I'm not attracted to you but I'm desperate so let's have sex," the woman would be like "ew no"

Well, if you want women to only date you and not other men in the beginning stages of a relationship, then you should probably say that to them upfront and do the same thing yourself... But the thought of my dating prospects dating around in the beginning didn't bother me at all. I didn't feel entitled to exclusivity until we talked about it and committed to it.

Right, so there's the intersection between socially instilled preferences (which are often cemented with positive experiences) and evolutionarily instilled preferences. Wherein pubes are a signal of fertility, but society says that women should be hairless downstairs, and men who have experienced and enjoyed eating hairless box maintain that preference. Therefore, in the context of the original discussion.. preferring women sans-pubes is not a pedophilic indication, nor a counterargument to men …

hear me out I don't think it's wrong for closely related, adult, consenting individuals to have sex with one another provided no one was groomed, they take every reasonable effort to use proper birth control, and they agree not to carry to term in the event of accidental pregnancy. Is it weird and icky? Absolutely. Morally wrong outside of the grooming and genetic defect aspects? I don't see it.

I think, as a parent, that it's reasonable to want the best outcome for your children, and to not want them to be disabled, diseased, or treated poorly because of lookism is normal/moral. That doesn't necessarily mean that you view disabled/ill/conventionally unattractive people as less than or unworthy of existence/reproducing themselves... I mean, ask anybody with a heritable disability/disease if they would have rather been born healthy, or any conventionally unattractive person if they would…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 05:02 PM

Are you saying that you think it's problematic or immoral to want your own children to look a certain way or to have certain heritable traits? Or are you conflating the immorality of legitimate eugenicist practices with caring about that sort of thing?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 04:40 PM
4

Right. So a single individual not wanting to reproduce with another individual with/without certain traits is not him/her trying to arrange reproduction at the population level to make those traits more common.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 04:30 PM
3

"Eugenics" has started being thrown around any time someone mentions wanting their own children to look a certain way, or anytime someone supports reproductive choice. The problem with actual eugenics is that people with power forcibly prevent others from reproducing because they deem them unworthy by some arbitrary standard.

I think the equivalent of a woman hiding her plastic surgery from a man she's dating is a man hiding his plastic surgery from a woman he's dating. Same thing applies for intentions-- some men date just to get sex, some women date just to use men for meals, status, or resources. All these things are generally frowned upon

IDK about yours, but my common sense tells me that people can have differences and still have plenty of things in common for them to have a successful relationship, age gapped or age peer, as my husband and I do. You see, you don’t need to be exactly the same to have compatibility, but rather you have to complement one another and be headed in the same direction in life. Maturity and experience are two separate things. Experience is what you’ve gone through, accomplished, perceived. Maturity is …

I'm sorry, but when I read "benevolent guidance" it's an automatic "ew" from me. Well, that's your preference, and that's perfectly fine. Personally, benevolent guidance (and assistance) is something I've really appreciated about older men, especially in my husband. The men who frequent this space are not a representative sample of the general population. They are more likely to have misogynistic views of women, and thus are more likely to behave badly towards them, than men who do not post here. But the kind of men I was talking about feel this way about a woman who gave birth to their child, not someone else's The thing is, when we're talking about preferences that come from thousands of year of evolutionary programming, it's not so simple for individual traits to be isolated from their circumstances. A woman with no physical signs of having been pregnant and given birth is most likely not caring for children from another man. A woman with those physical signs is likely to be caring fo…

Pubic hair, specifically, is a sign of puberty. Like I said, I think men have been conditioned by porn and society in general to prefer hairless pubic areas, and then having a positive experience with a hairless partner cements that preference. Body hair tends to grow more and darker the more testosterone a person has, wherein the hairiest women are most likely to have the highest T, and the least hairy women are likely to be lowest in T (or have a genetic mutation where their body doesn't respo…

Having boundaries and a developed sense of self aren't "jadedness." Jadedness is when you've been treated poorly in the past, and you expect the next partner to treat you similarly, so you come into the new relationship with a pessimistic outlook and oftentimes, an avoidant attachment style. It doesn't make anybody, male or female, a particularly enjoyable partner.

This will be the first one Hubby and I have attended, but I've had similar kinks for as long as I've had sexual fantasies. The first older man I dated helped me with exploring those kinks. The rest, not so much. You would be surprised the number of men who are deathly afraid of being impolite or less than gentle during sex... Hubby was very vanilla when we first met, and I perverted him.

I started wanting a baby around age 20, and started trying for one with him at 21, after I got back from military training. It's actually harder for men to get younger women than it is for them to get women their own age. Most young women prefer their age peers, and there is more social overlap with those age peers than there is with older men. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who frequents the pillsphere that men care about (and often place high priority on) the physical attractiveness of their female long-term partners, or that older-looking women are perceived to be less conventionally attractive than youthful-looking women. Logically, you can conclude that women's SMV declines as they start to visibly age. It's not about "offering" their youth and beauty to the men; it's about securing the best partner …

/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 08:39 PM

Divorce rates are more complicated than just a single factor. For example, one contributing cause of divorce is financial stress. Young couples who marry early are likely to just be starting out in their careers and not making very much money, while also trying to establish a home and family with one another. Make one partner older and high earning, and the likelihood of divorce is going to change.

While most women are attracted to the highest value men in their own peer groups, and tend to interact with them more often than they do with high value older men by virtue of social proximity, older men have had more time to increase their value than younger men, provided they take good care of their health. The wall is only scary for women who haven't found their life partner yet, because it refers to women's reduced RMV/SMV in regards to their ability to *attract* high quality partners. In other words, it's when women exit their peak attractiveness years. If you find a partner during those peak attractiveness years, it's more likely that you'll get a higher quality one, and that you'll be more satisfied with him. You have time to develop love, deep bonds, build your life together, make a family...…

I am closing in on 29 now. I am still pretty fit (though not as fit as I was when I was a D1 collegiate athlete, naturally) and I would say I have a higher than average libido still (it's lessened a bit after having our daughter because she's exhausting, but I still very much desire my husband... It's not like I roll my eyes and say "let's get this over with," once a month and call him a pig any time he wants to jerk off like he was previously experiencing, ahem.) So you think men should have a right to force women to either carry to term or abort? Or do you think men who know they legally have no right to say what happens in someone else's body and still fail to use contraception properly don't have to financially provide for their kids because.... because why?

"Assess my situation...?"You mean being happy, secure, and married with kids with an older man ? I think i can assess it just fine. The suspicion rises but the likelihood that people will actually bother to evaluate whether there's abuse at foot instead of automatically assuming thats the case does not.

At some point, we need to consider adults mature enough to know who they want to be in relationships with. At some point, maturity does not outweigh youth, beauty, fertility, un-jadedness, etc. in terms of male attraction, whereas women who prefer AGRs may find that ex maturity, experience, mentorship, financial success/stability, self-assuredness, etc. may outweigh youth and fertility in men (though men tend to lose their fertility at much slower rates, provided they take good care of themselve…

I think its pretty hard to separate the perception them wanting validation from a wise, experienced partner from the inherent value that being wise and experienced has. I mean, why would any woman prefer a naive or inexperienced partner to a wise and experienced one? I can say from experience that people who have shit to talk about AGRs never actually bother to assess the quality/health of the relationship itself or whether the participants are happy and treating each other well. And if a young woman speaks up about how she's happy in her AGR, people will not only not believe her, but they will also attempt to gaslight her into seeing herself as an abuse victim.

When I think about assigning ‘fault’ or blame, I not only consider people’s options (in this case, the abusers options to be kind or to be abusive, and the victim’s options to remain with the abuser or to distance herself), but also what each individual has control over. We only control ourselves, not the actions of other people. Therefore, I can’t necessarily say that the choice and action of the abuser are the fault of the victim
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 03:24 PM

Nonsense. Women have all different sorts of physical preferences. For example, my favorite is the rugged masculine types with beards, kind eyes, and a touch of grey hair, but other women like pretty boys or androgynous men, or hunter eyes, or blonds, or men who appear more youthful than ‘wisened’

Like I said, the women who are complaining are not encountering men who are better than the ones approaching them. Actively asking out men who don't meet their standards isn't going to solve their dating woes. Generally, relationships are complementary. Presuming, of course, the older adult had no interaction with the younger adult when the younger adult was a minor, and there's no established professional relationship between the two (like boss/employee or professor/student or [god forbid] parent/child-like relationship) (side note: it's not "creepy" just because you would say 'no.')

Men go into sex knowing that if their semen enters the woman and she gets pregnant, he doesn't have a say in whether the pregnancy will be carried to term or not because it doesn't occur in his own body, but rather in the woman's. A home, financial stability, good times and memories, love and support... That's what I'm saying; there has been no definitive proof found that humans are "meant" to mate for life with one partner, nor that their ability to bond to romantic partners diminishes with new sexual partners. The researchers looking at prairie voles came up with the term "pair bonding" to describe them selecting a mate for life, as is customary for their species, but that cannot be extrapolated to human behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 08:14 PM

"Pair bonding" isn't a real thing. The commonly-cited study that mentions "pair bonding" was conducted on prairie voles, not human beings. There is no evidence that people lose the ability to bond with romantic partners after a certain number of partners. Usually people here also cite the studies conducted by The Family Institute, which is an inherently biased source that cherry picks the data to report. For example, their data shows that people with 2 sexual partners are more likely to divorce …

Villifying age and body type standards are dumb, I agree... But promiscuity standards aren't usually shamed; it's everything that comes along with it-- believing that sex is done to women, that it "soils," "dirties" or degrades them in some way, that only "broken" women are promiscuous, that promiscuous women inherently have character flaws, that that it's not okay for women to enjoy it, that they "belong" to their future husbands and are disrespecting them by having sex with other men before ev…

This idea that women who have hookups with some men and actual relationships with others are somehow punishing the men they're dating by "making them perform/work for it" is so bizarre to me. Women are not rewarding men based on merit by "giving" out sex, we are *having* sex when we feel sexual attraction to men. Some women feel that immediately and some don't, and some women feel it immediately for some men and not others. But either way, immediate attraction and attraction that develops over t…

Are farmers profiting off of people's survival by growing and selling food? You seem to forget that landlords work. They worked to be able to afford their properties, they worked to vet tenants and to get their properties leased out, they work to maintain their properties, they have to work to evict tenants when they fail to pay their rent, and they have to work to repair their properties when angry tenants damage them. They're not just existing and passively profiting off of people's survival. …

Most of the time when women have children, their careers suffer. Pregnancy/delivery/recovery/postpartum are hard and take away from one's ability to work, and often times the one who picks up the kids when there's an emergency at school or a child is sick and can't go to school/childcare, it's the mother who leaves work early or calls out to take care of them. Parents do not "own" their children; they are legal guardians. Physical abuse is illegal, and verbal/emotional abuse can also lead to removal of custody if discovered by the authorities. Yes, they are forced to go to school and get an education, or to receive an education at home, in *most* states -- that's not exactly a bad thing. Schools are not permitted to abuse children either. They are made to conform to reasonable expectations of conduct. Children are not granted full bodily autonomy beca…

You’re just imposing your own standards onto women and saying their standards are wrong over and over again. There’s literally no other way to interpret what you’re saying. It’s unreasonable. Women have the ability to provide for themselves, yes. Sex is not something that women award men with, either; it’s not given from one party to another based on merit or work performed. It is something that men and women DO TOGETHER. The reasons why a woman decides to engage in sex (any consensual sex, casual or otherwise) vary considerably; that still doesn’t mean she is passively “letting” the sex “happen” to her. This is so icky I can’t even stand it

12 year olds are generally not mature enough to care for themselves nor consistently make decisions in their best interest, so their parents are legally given the right to make those decisions for them. Why would any woman want to start having babies at 45 anyway?? Like that’s insane. Pregnancy, delivery, recovery, and looking after needy/energetic little ones is hard enough in your 20’s; I legitimately cannot imagine doing it in your late 40s. And why would she think that freezing only 11 eggs in her late 30s and then trying to conceive at 45 would work??

Like it’s flat out wrong to treat someone like their economic worth determines their human worth. I think you're conflating "human worth" with "worth as a romantic/sexual partner." They're not the same thing. We each set our own individual standards for the qualities we want in a partner, mostly based on what will make us feel happy and supported, and on what will help us lead the lives we want to live... Someone could be a perfectly good human being and be poor, but that doesn't mean he'll make…

Again, you are free to set your standards and division of mutual responsibilities however you please. If your partner makes less than you and you want her to do more household chores, by all means, make that a standard of yours. If you want to split the bills and the housework 50/50 regardless of what each of you make, by all means, make that a standard of yours. Personally, I’m a SAHM and I keep the household running, and my husband works outside of the home to pay all of the bills.

The amount of money a man makes is important. If he makes less money than a woman, then by combining finances, she’s going to lower her quality of life. Financial provision is also a huge consideration if you’re someone who wants kids, because being pregnant and postpartum takes a huge toll on women’s bodies and minds, and it’s pretty traumatic to leave your young baby at daycare to go back to work full time.

Seems to me like the women who want casual sex are having it while shopping for their LT partners; they're not wasting time having feelings for men who are playing games. Half of the shit I read here about men being bad boys and "using" women for sex and breaking their hearts or whatever just feels like implausible revenge fantasy written by men who get rejected all the time and want women to feel reje…

The obesity issue affects first world countries all over the world, and obesity happens as a direct consequence of a series of personal choices... so technically, yes, it is a "freedom" to be able to decide your weight. Homelessness and drug addictions are also usually results of a series of choices. Personally, I manage my weight just fine, and am neither homeless nor a drug addict

Yes, i understand that, but what you are failing to grasp is that they are considered neutral initially and then they become sexually attractive to the women partnered with them, such that they are not only valued for looks or for personalty, but for both things. If you hyperfocus on being "hookup material," you will never end up in a happy long term relationship, becasue the term "hookup material" implies that you are only good for your looks and for sex, and that you aren't valued for who you …

He will only be determined to be husband material AFTER the woman has developed sexual desire for him as a result of getting to know him, if he is in the neutral category INITIALLY. His analogy implies that the gf is only *ever* cute, and not *ever* sexy.

There are literally men on this subreddit and on RP spaces that talk about how they would never take a woman "seriously" if she sleeps with them early on in the relationship. I've had men tell me this to my face IRL (for what reason, I have no fucking idea. I guess I look like the tradcon type despite having been a mega casual sex having slut in my single days.) They see them as neutral AT FIRST when they BEGIN DATING and then BECOME ATTRACTED to them as they get to know them. Why is this such a hard concept for the men in this thread?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/25 02:46 PM
2

Yeah, I just disagree. I dated a lot of people, and there were several instances where the men wanted exclusivity and more with me, but they just weren't long term material. When I met my husband, it was like a switch flipped, and committing wasn't hard at all. It takes the right person, and sometimes lots of tries to find the right person, and sometimes lots of people to fill in the spaces while you're looking for that person.

There’s the youthful, carefree, don’t-think-about-tomorrow just fun, and there’s the building a pillow fort in the living room with your kids and laughing at each other’s implausible bedtime stories fun. I didn’t either, until it happened lol. The initial increase in size during pregnancy comes from growth in the mammary glands; that remains even after you stop breast feeding. When your milk comes in, obviously the more fluid that’s in the breasts, the bigger they are. So they vary a bit in size while breastfeeding. This unfortunately stretches out the skin a good deal, so when you stop breastfeeding, they tend to shrink and sag. If you started out small and had a significant increase in breast …

If you only believe women when they say they are not attracted to their husbands, but not when they say they are attracted to them, that’s clear evidence of confirmation bias I feel like worrying that your partner is lying by omission about not being attracted to you, or having had been more attracted to previous partners, is a reflection of personal insecurity, and you should both work on that and also observe your partner for signs that she is sufficiently attracted to you (physical affection,…

What reason do you have to speculate that women are lying? There are some women who will tell you they got everything they wanted in a man, and others who will say they lack some things and aren’t perfectly satisfied in their marriages. Some women are fine with divorce, and others want to avoid it at all cost. The logical conclusion there is quite simply that people are different. /r/PurplePillDebate17/02/25 09:13 PM

Settling is when you don’t get all of the things you want. A woman who marries a man who she is sexually attracted to, who has good husband/father traits, is getting all the things she wants, even if other people perceive her previous partners to be more attractive than her husband. Again, what you describe in your last paragraph happens sometimes, but I don’t think it’s very common at all.

I craved novelty before I got married. I wouldn’t agree to have sex with the same person for the rest of my life if that craving hadn’t ceased, as was the condition when Hubby and I started dating. I can tell you as someone who’s had ~50 sexual partners, I don’t crave novelty. I’ve been with my husband for 10 years now, and I am far from bored with our sex life. He has even offered me the chance to get with other men, but I don’t want it. Sex with other men would just feel weird and sort of wrong at this point. They are the same thing, it’s just that one takes getting to know a person as a person first. You need to stop looking at getting to know people and dating them as work that men perform in order to get sex. If you have no desire to put effort into a relationship (and receive effort in exchange), don’t date people. Just don’t do it. I don’t understand why…

Yes. I have been proposed to by women explicitly trying to make this "deal" with me. Well, that doesn’t reflect the vast majority of women, nor what they mean when they’re talking about “husband material.” I don’t know why you aren’t taking our word for it when we tell you what we mean. I know it’s hard for you to imagine, but developed sexual desire is exactly like immediate sexual desire, except that it’s just conditional on knowing the object of that desire as a person instead of just for the…

It’s far from fiction. Women describe it like that consistently in these spaces. While I’m the kind of woman that generally feels sexual attraction immediately, I’ve also experienced sexual attraction that’s grown as a result of getting to know someone better. It’s not “factors that make up for a lack of attraction;” it’s legitimate attraction. It’s actively wanting sex with your partner after getting to know them.

Developed sexual attraction is as legitimate as immediate sexual attraction. If I was dating a woman who needed to get to know me before she desired sex with me, and I was interested in also dating and getting to know her as a person as well, then we would get to know each other before having sex. I don’t see an issue there, unless I was just looking for casual sex and didn’t want a relationship with her, in which case we’re just not a good match and we should move on. There’s no scam here, lmao…

Do you think women would gladly marry men for whom they don’t feel sexual desire? “Oh, this will totally be the one person I’m gonna smash for the rest of my life, even though I think he’s unappealing.” No. By the time a woman has deemed a man “husband material,” she is attracted to him, even if the rest of society thinks he is ugly or only average. I’m just gonna lol at the fact that, a) you don’t understand women’s cycles [they vary in length, the ovulatory phase is actually around 6 days in length, etc.] and b) you think that women somehow lose the ability to use their brains or feel entirely different about casual sex when they’re ovulating. Men are filled with testosterone every day, and yet somehow they’re still in control of themselves. Crazy how that works, huh?

You shouldn’t date women who are playing weird mind games like that. If you feel comfortable having sex with someone, and you want it, and that want is reciprocated, there is no reason not to have it. Having it or not having it doesn’t make it more likely that the other person will want a relationship with you.

The issue with your framing is that, I can’t imagine any woman preferring a neutrally attractive man for any reason It’s not that they prefer neutral men to attractive men. It’s that they meet a man who meets their minimal looks standard (at least), who doesn’t inspire immediate lust, but who she thinks she could grow to be sexually attracted to if she gets to know him better, and who exhibits some quality that makes him a candidate for dating. If all goes well, that man then becomes attractive …

You gotta stop looking at women like they’re dispensing pussy to those they thing deserve it. They are people having sex with those for whom they feel sexual desire— and whether they feel it or not is not a conscious decision. What I always recommend is that the first handful of dates men plan for women be something free or inexpensive. The women there because they are genuinely interested in the man will be okay with this. I also believe that women who are really into you will also plan dates, and there are even a lot of women that will go 50/50 or alternate who pays. Again, it’s about getting to know one another and putting in equal amounts of time and effort, and if the person you’re seeing isn’t putting in the tim…

That’s a bad analogy, because I’m order for a man to become “husband material” he needs to be sexually desirable to the woman calling him that. A man who is “hookup material” generates sexual desire immediately; a man who is “husband material” generates sexual desire either immediately, or it develops as his partner gets to know him. Some women can have casual sex, some can’t. Some women feel immediate sexual desire for some men (generally exceptionally attractive men) and not for others, but can develop sexual desire eventually after getting to know them (like those in the neutral category.) I don’t believe that people can be “used for sex” as long as the sex was consensual. If you got into an attractive guy’s pants and had a good time, that’s a win. If you wanted a relationship and didn’t get it, that sucks, but it doesn’t mean he “used” you. Maybe lied about his intentions, and backed it up by performing boyfriend duties for you, which hopefully you also enjoyed while it lasted. some dudes will put on a show for weeks or month, and still lie about their lack of desire for a relati…

Wait didn’t you just say that women aren’t making husband material work harder Yes. Normal relationship efforts and benefits are not work to be exchanged for sex. They are efforts and benefits to be exchanged for efforts and benefits. Sex is something you enjoy together, for both of you. Why does the husband guy need to take you on multiple dates to build sexual attraction. You shouldn’t date men for whom affection and romance are “work.” They don’t actually want a relationship with you. They just want the sex part, and they see it as something they’re getting from you, instead of something you’re enjoying together.

If ur only husband material and not hook up material, then naturally ur lacking in sex appeal. No. To be husband material, you still have to meet a woman’s looks standards, such that if there is no immediate sexual desire, there’s a likelihood of it developing down the road, as she gets more familiar and comfortable with you. Women do not date or marry men who fall into the “unattractive” category, (unless they’re like, forced, and then obviously they don’t want sex with their partners/husbands)…

The sex with the casual sex partners was more raw, visceral. If by “raw” you mean “happened immediately,” then sure. But sex with someone you have developed sexual attraction for over time can be equally as primal. Like, I like making love with my husband, but I also still get the very primal, “visceral” urge to fuck each other’s brains out. I think that happens to other couples, too. The boyfriend takes her on multiple dates so that they can get to know one another and build sexual attraction, not in exchange for sex. If you are particularly attractive, this is a fine standard to have. If you’re average (or you fall in the “neutral” category) the number of women who will want to kiss you on first sight is going to be very small. It will be even smaller if you are below average in looks. If you’re willing to search pretty hard for those women, or work hard to become more attractive so it’s more likely to happen, by all means, go for it. That happens as a result of men’s Madonna-whore complexes— they don’t want the man to view them as “easy.” Sometimes women also worry that the man will only want sex, not a relationship, so they think making him wait for it will better allow them to assess the man’s intentions. The husbands may be less conventionally attractive, but they are attractive enough for their wives to have sex with them, and they ALSO have traits worthy of a relationship. He also has all the important qualities that I need in a husband, and therefore I married him. I keep trying to explain to you guys, “husband material” is a higher cumulative standard than “hook up” material. A husband not only has to pass a looks THRESHOLD, but also a personality/RMV threshold as well. (Not just for sex, but for the whole of an LTR.)
