Of course the more options you have, the more standards you can afford to have. That goes for everyone

There's a pill about that? Don't BOTH men and women today choose based off of looks first?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/21 09:26 PM

Well guys don't have as long of a checklist as women do
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/21 09:21 PM

u/gimpgirl555, do you really think men don't value women's personalities? After looks thats the second biggest thing. Without chemistry the relationship will be trash

Oops I watched porn and forgot how to talk to girls

Most of us are Americans so that's whats relevant here

Meaning most of us have internalized and accepted that traditonal models of courtship, dating and marriage don’t hold up all that well today Outside of your anecdotal experiences, do you know this to be true for most other people? Excluding PPD & the manosphere, which talks about these dynamics more than usual, I don't think everyone is on the same page that traditional models of dating culture have become outdated yet haven't been replaced. The whole idea of the blue pill is that many people go…

We're not talking about the entire world, we're talking about America

Let me be clear then, I'm not justifying anyone. Just providing nuance and context

The word powerful doesn't really fit in here. Women certainly have the same materialistic chances but they still lack behind in mental areas such as confidence, self esteem, stress management and don't persue positions of power as often. The world gives them the same opportunities, it's up to them how they use those opportunities. That's all that matters This is an american trend. Yup, so is everything else you find on this subreddit. I acutally don't agree with this since even in Bluepill it sh…

Men aren't becoming more sexless because they're too focused on perfection, it's because they don't have any options available Men are more likely to settle, especially for casual sex. Perfection isn't the problem for men, just women

You're thinking too much in black & white. Things are never 100% an individual's fault or society's fault. Learn to see the gray

The manosphere is not growing, it's just moving from blogs into video/podcast content. Growing to new platforms means a wider audience FDS is limited to reddit and grrlpower WSJ writers. Not true, FDS is also popular on Twitter too and there are more grrlpower activists than you think

I think you're speaking for men even though what you're saying pertains mostly to women. Most men are not searching for "perfection" Comparing the two lists you've generated, one is far more prevalent than the other.

Depends on context For all we know, radicalization of non-violent people leads to the radicalization of violent people. See how both matter now?

100%, As the dating world gets harder for men and more men become sexless, they will seek out the answers that society didn't give them. Once they find what they're looking for, they'll distrust society for hiding these answers and will become more inclined towards radicalism (ingroup bias to their source of answers) or preferably skepticism (initial distrust of all answers)

So its completely random who becomes a criminal in society? There aren't any systematic factors that influence whether someone turns to a life of crime? That is very naive

Don't you think manosphere ideas have become significantly more mainstream over the last couple years? Terminology like simping, chad, alpha & beta have continually become more pervasive over the years. Also I haven't followed the growth of FDS closely, but considering they only started a couple of years ago and already have news articles being written about them now (eg. VICE) and +150k members (double PPD's members), I'd say they've certainly grown rapidly.

People don’t want to compromise or curb their selfish desires Or they simply can't. Desires can't be controlled the same way actions can

Have you heard of nature vs nurture? People's actions & beliefs are formed not just from their own personal nature / genetics but also from the world around them.

Not that simple, those things increase your chances but doesn't mean most guys will get lucky
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/21 04:52 PM

Depends on how good the fallback option is

What difficulty do women have that is worse than lack of interest?

The mean doesn't have to be same for both genders when you account for gay relationships How is the median not low?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 02:37 PM

Mean or average is different from median. The average number of partners can appear high if most men have a few partners and a few men have many partners. His point is that far more young men are sexless now than before, which the data confirms.

You should leave when you fall out of love and/or you don't think you can make it work
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/21 11:32 PM

Agreed, I think this scenario of savagery is just a violent fantasy. There will be societal consequences but it certainly won't be the motherfucking Purge

The point is women have significantly more control of the baby's birth (or lack thereof) than the man does after sex.
