this subreddit, it’s not the best I’ve seen.. You think in the most simplified, stereotyped waus and only want to hate. You don’t want to improve. You don’t want to be helped. unfortunately, even when faced with evidence, you don’t care. You hate random women for not picking you. You have incredibly inaccurate views of how women are. Because you don’t see us as human beings, neither will I. It’s genuinely disgusting. Only a few of you are good people. I’ve seen plenty of men that look like y’all…

I see. Perhaps I am just predisposed to bias. Might I asked where you’ve derived your perception of feminists, good sir?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 07:18 PM

I apologize for the misconception. Please specify to me what you had meant by ”they” in your initial statement.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 07:16 PM

Boxing one gender into a preconceived stereotype is the definition of the hasty generalizarion fallacy.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 07:12 PM

Wow, mate. That’s quite unfortunate. Though, I don’t agree with your last statement. I‘ve seen countless misogynistic bullshit posts on my feed that had no reprimand whatsoever.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 07:11 PM

If I’m being completely frank, that wasn’t very logical for you to say, either.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 07:08 PM

Kill all men and yes all men were pretty damn small things that happened years ago a very, very small minority of people were promoting it. Feminists condemned it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 07:07 PM

Nope. Personally I see very open misogyny quite often on the net but not misandry. Where have you seen it? Maybe I’m just a lil blind to it
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 07:04 PM

There’s not much of a chance of being raped, though. Not compared to death, at the very least. What makes you think otherwise?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 06:59 PM

Misandry is hatred + prejudice
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 06:54 PM

I think this man vs. bear debacle is so important because it’s the first time PRETTY open misandry has been so widespread on the internet like this.

I guess there are. I mean, women don’t really need to find someone attractive to like them and want to message them. For sample, the same study that this whole 80/20 thing is derived from also found that men are 28x more likely to message attractive women than unattractive, whereas women were 11x more likely to message men who were attractive than unattractive. I personally don’t believe in the whole 80/20 thing. The rule was based on a dating app in 2009. It isn’t in any way applicable to real …

/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 04:41 AM

Men are far more likely to be SAed than have their careers ruined by false allegations. Why aren’t people bringing attention to that, with how rare false allegations actually are? Rape has among the lowest rates of conviction. It’s actually wack. Men should be educating themselves on how to prevent SA and advocating for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 01:21 AM

What’s wrong with the metoo movement?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 12:17 AM

You are clearly depressed in some way. You need to get help. It’s hard to admit, but everyone deserves to have a happy life. Everyone needs help sometime. you shouldn’t have live in misery forever because you didn‘t seek help when you needed it. Remind yourself that it’s weak to deny help when you really need it. it takes one hell of a man to admit to himself that he’s lost and needs assistance, it takes far, far, far more courage than not accepting any help at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 12:12 AM

It’s worth it to try, at least once. If it doesn’t work, then so be it, but it’s always worth it to at least try.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 12:09 AM

one Reddit thread is not sufficient evidence to support your consensus that most men are toxic.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 11:24 PM

Why get angry at that? Women have more standards, but it’s been proven time and time again that their standards vary far more highly than men’s, meaning most will be accounted for. Men aren’t getting left in the dark, or not having any partners at all. In fact, more women than men had no sex in 2021… but you didn’t see them angry. Women don’t lash out like that over something so trivial. Women aren’t getting married as much, either. 90men per 100 women overall are unmarried. Also, I have absolut…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 11:10 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 07:50 PM

Sorry about that. Have you had therapy to assess this? Assuming you’re heterosexual this may be very damaging to your future relationships. everyone deserves a chance at love imo, unless you’re me because I don’t feel attraction. I wish you the best.

As an asexual I find it utterly ridiculous to equate a man’s value to how much sex he’s having or has had. the whole using “virgin” as an insult is immensely cringe to me. I find it equally as perplexing how fixated some people tend to be on this whole sexual fulfillment thing.

Yet again being accused of a double standard I never cared for, nor encountered in my life. Why would I care about the shit people do on dating apps. I’m more than too be busy to be preoccupied with hookup culture.

1

“Below average” in looks doesn’t mean as much to the women involved in the study. I think that is clear by the rate at which they message the most attractive men compared to the least attractive men. I also wouldn’t use a study from 2009 that only observed dating app behaviors to be solid evidence for the whole of men or women.

you’re the one who engaged in false dichotomies and used loaded language in the first place. If you throw savage insults, expect insults back. I’ve never seen such potent bias and emotion cobbled together in one sentence. I truly hope you get help you need,

TIL more about the OkCupid study that was the basis for this whole 80/20 rule: It came from a blog post from 2009, 15 years ago. That same study found that women were 11x more likely to message the most attractive men than most unattractive men, and 4x more likely to message the most attractive men than average men. Wack, right? Until you realize that it also found that men were 28x more likely to do the same than unattractive women, and were 5x more likely to message attractive women than avera…

That’s not true. That “study” was conducted on a dating app OkCupid based on swipes. It came from a blog post from 2009, 15 years ago. That same study found that women were 11x more likely to message the most attractive men than most unattractive men, and 4x more likely to message the most attractive men than average men. Wack, right? Until you realize that it also found that men were 28x more likely to do the same than unattractive women, and were 5x more likely to message attractive women than…

As if you were employing good faith arguments yourself. Your wording was far more emotional, inflammatory and dismissive than mine. You literally said women were feral beasts fuming with rage. Your sense of superiority is clear. You harbor condescension, framing women's reactions as laughable and unworthy of serious consideration, likely due to the bitterness of rejection. Engaging with someone so entrenched in dichotomous thinking and prone to generalizing is futile. As for you, attributing ext…

Stop victim blaming women
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 05:14 PM

Women are by nature pickier than men because their physiology makes it so their reproduction is far slower than men’s, so they must therefore be more selective due to this. It’s a nine month recharge for them and childbirth used to have a fairly high mortality rate back before the advent of modern medicine
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 05:13 PM

That 80% metric was derived from an OkCupid metric from many years ago. It doesn’t represent all women. Just dating apps as of 5+ years ago.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 04:29 PM

first off, men don’t hate women. Most men don’t have any ill will towards any women at all, so you can stop that for now. It’s the specific men and women who abide by the incel ideology that frustrate us. it’s the way they talk about women as a whole. They act as if women are some homogenous group that all abide by the same principles, and that I should be at fault for the whims of other women. Meanwhile I’ve never experienced attraction nor entered the dating sphere.. and yet, they direct frust…

Right, but it’s a pretty close call. I have family members who lean towards both extremes, whereas I’m relatively apolitical. The denialism that the extreme right engages in is insane. They have a practically cult like relationship with their political superiors and shun the way of the vaccine, much to their own and their children’s detriments. They pose an actual threat to society, and have inflicted mass harm more than the left has. At present, there is not an extreme left wing equivalent of t…

lol I will never understand this. The smells we deem ‘feminine‘ or ‘masculine’ are completely ridiculous. Smell how you want, mate. it’s not gay, you shouldn't be feeling insecure about body wash, but this is how men are taught, unfortunately. this society devalues femininity and completely punishes men for expressing anything considered remotely feminine even if said thing is completely unrelated to gender. Personally, I use male branded deodorant because it works better with my body.

People can’t really be qualified as leftovers, I think that’s kind of a dehumanizing description, male or female. Nearly most of all people in the daring market have dated prior in that age group. When you date other people, you gain experience. I can’t wrap my head around how that could possibly be a bad thing... especially at 27. You’re not really expected to find the love of your life at 26.

The incel term usually denotes an ideology or rhetoric rather than the lack of sex for a lot of people
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 04:50 AM

That’s what makes it different from what a nice guy does, nice guys/nice girls (it isn’t a gender exclusive thing. The female equivalent to a nice guy is a nice girl, not makeup.) deceive intentionally.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 04:28 AM

It’s not put on with the intent to lie. She just enjoys the process. You can usually tell when people have makeup on. In fact, she gets complimented on it sometimes. She wanted to be a makeup artist once
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 04:23 AM

Makeup is not put on for the sole intent to deceive or coerce others into sex. It’s merely a hobby for them in many cases. They really enjoy the process of putting the makeup on, it’s a way to express themselves in a sense. It’s kinda like what coffee nuts do . My mother wears makeup every day and she is happily married. She just does it to look nice in general.

Perhaps if you are to pin your viewpoint of women outside of the real, of dating, this may improve. indeed, as someone who harbors little to no attraction to others, it is difficult for me to watch and understand the dating scene. It must be brutal, so much hatred, so much vitriol, and for what? What is the purpose of it all? it looks so much like senseless dribble to me. So many let their romantic perceptions impede all other realms. It’s genuinely difficult to watch, yet I must learn.

Women will completely lose interest or get the “ick” if they see a man they were previously attracted to portrayed in even the slightest negative light in a social setting, very strange. Hm, I don’t see this behavior often in women IRL. Where may you have developed this perception, might I inquire?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 02:50 AM

I see an overwhelming yet frequent persistence (on this sub) of the scathing perception that women are nothing but egotistical bitches. That their standards are so unfairly high that any fate that causes them harm is well-deserved. I was attempting to counteract said notion.

Normies are the most judgemental. The more normal you are, the less likely it is that you are exposed to anything other than the default, so you are less tolerant of different perspectives. For example, if you are anything other than straight, you still grew up in a world where it’s normal to be hetero. You might have never even known what your orientation means until you’re older. When you are straight, you don’t have the additional perspective. This is what causes most of the divide in people.…

This is bullshit, normal women dont hate men. I would advis you to get out more if this is your impression
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:44 PM

There are still things to advocate for, not “demand“ as sexist people like to say. “women are always bitching and whining….” or “she DEMANDS” I never got why people like to frame what women say as whining or grounded in emotion. It’s strange, I will be casually conversing with another when they will pose my words in such a way that is alludes to me deriving my speech from a place of emotion. Overall research still centers around men. The world is designed for men more than it is for women. Anywa…

anyone, woman or not, can tell if another is autistic. It’s immediately noticeable from their mannerisms. Abusers on the other hand, don’t show anything is wrong with them. This is just victim blaming.

so does that invalidate all struggles that humans face, merely because they are safer?

That’s true. Dating apps are inherently predatory.

Same with men. Your point?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 01:27 AM

The real issue is that 1 in 3 women get SAed. most IPV victims are female. 87% of rape victims are female. thats the real issue that women face. Rape and violence from a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 01:25 AM

It’s not a problem, it’s just a logical byproduct of the dating app model.

Can you really, feasibly, accrue enough free time to converse intimately with 30+ people simultaneously?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 01:11 AM

I do think pickiness is still moderately substantiated, given that women are overwhelmingly the victims of IPV and SA. dating is a dangerous game for them. Also, it is difficult for them to sift through so many matches while on dating apps. I would think it’s a little overwhelming for them to get so many. You can’t really read through it all, you kind of have to adopt a categorical approach
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 12:15 AM

Q42&MLM: i have heard that women typically average hundreds of matches on dating apps, as well as many more likes. How do you sift through all of the messages and likes you get?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 10:25 PM

80% of men? Wasn’t this confined to dating apps and not broader mate selection?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 09:46 PM

Still, the outward characteristics you possess as a lesbian contribute to your mating selectivity.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 09:43 PM

This all comes down to physiological sex characteristics and their accompanying biological mindsets, not orientation. There is a hormonal component as well. Higher testosterone in males leads to higher horniness and increased tolerance for sexual endeavors. They even have an ingrained mechanism within them which allows sexual desire to override certain processes, repressing the disgust factor one might feel.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 09:42 PM

It is biologically substantiated, as a woman would like to opt for the optimal genetic outcome for her offspring given the time it takes for her to reproduce.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 09:29 PM

I am simply stating that it is biologically ingrained within women to be more selective
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 09:28 PM

The minimum reproduction effort for females is much higher for that of males. Due to this, she must be more selective in the case that a partner may carry unfavorable traits. There is always a risk for pregnancy, and it is biologically ingrained within women to be conscious of this. Women are also more defenseless when engaging in heterosexual dating, and may desire to avoid any potentially dangerous mates. When a man impregnates a woman, he can simply flee and not carry responsibility. When a w…

“Although there are thousands of human-bear encounters every year, only a very few result in personal injury. Most bears will actually retreat before you are even aware of their presence” personally, I would still choose a man over a bear, but I think those who wouldn’t are generally considering context. finding people in the middle of the woods is an odd and terrifying experience for them. Bears live in the woods, whereas humans do not. Whereas I may believe that these are simply hikers, I feel…

humans in general, not just men,can be dangerous. “The 750,000 black bears of North America kill less than one person per year on the average, while humans ages 18-24 are 167 times more likely to kill someone than a black bear. Most attacks by black bears are defensive reactions to a person who is too close, which is an easy situation to avoid.” “It is not normal behavior for a bear to come up to humans, especially in daylight. Typically, bears only do so because they seek food sources provided …

In many situations it is because they really have no other choice. i say this as someone who married a foreign woman from South America. Yes she was more educated and richer than me but this is not what these men do
