I think content is a little more important than length though. You have to stand out. It shouldn't be long, obviously, but if you can make someone laugh that puts you above 99% of responses on a dating site.

God, that's terrible. Things like this are why the rest of psychology laughs at the evolutionary branch. There are three basic reasons it can be attractive. 1) It demonstrates self esteem.
