Well, if my wife were here, she’d say that I’m a lazy bum, who doesn’t do anything around the house. Even though she is a stay at home mom and has not worked at a job more than a few months in her adult life. I’m the breadwinner and have a desk job. Ok, that seems like a personal difference which you two should really work out. That's traditional marriage roles for you. Husband is the breadwinner and the wife stays at home at takes care of the kids. But that shouldn't mean the wife is locked awa…

lack of sex is the biggest issue. But it comes with other issues, such as lack of respect for me. wife and I were not truly a good match. I married her trusting God to take care of my needs. And what about the things YOU are contributing to that marriage? Don't tell me you're the "good one" and that you're not remotely responsible for anything bad that happens in your marriage. That sounds more like you trying to blame God for what happened even though you could very well and chosen not to get m…

I’m too far gone from Christianity to even begin considering it’s truthfullness, tgh. I can understand your frustrations and your qualms since I come from a similar background ('Christian' by family, then atheist, and now a believer), but without reflecting on what in particular bothered you, it's difficult to have that conversation thoroughly. But more to the point, I'm not sure I understand your reason for considering divorce. Sure, sex is an important part of marriage but are there other prob…

“Destroy” lol OK. I didn’t make any argument. Find another straw man please. Yup, you're here to troll. You're not doing Jesus any favors by being frivolous and petty.

Yeah, you haven't said much. It makes me wonder if you're just doing this to get a rise out of me ;) Not a very "Christian" thing to do, now is it? Nevertheless, that shows how little ground you have for maintaining this faith of yours. And it's always a good chance to freshen up anyway. I think you’re projecting onto me a lot of your prejudices towards other people who are gay. I brought up the most common arguments used seeing as you can't even stand on your own two legs to make one up. I've s…

And? Are you saying it's not the foundation for which the faith and Biblical concepts lie on? Furthermore, Jesus never said the Law of Moses did not matter. It still does, especially when mentioning such topics quite frequently. Regardless, the New Testament mentions sexual immorality as a blanket term. The New Testament is very, very small. Obviously, Jesus isn't going to mention every single sin you can commit. So just because the Bible does not mention it specifically, does not mean it is ok.…

'A Covenant with my eyes' by Bob Sorge If you're only "working" 8 hours a day in university, I'd say you're not doing your job. You're supposed to be studying for hours on your own time. At the least, that should add up to over 70-80 hour weeks if we're not including internships. And not 35 hours of scrolling socials, I mean 70 hours of actually putting your nose to the books. Naturally, not every course is worth putting that much time into, in which case that Advanced Financial Accounting cours…

I’m not picking and choosing. Leviticus 18:22 - "‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable." Leviticus 20:13 - "'If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." The word "man" is translated from zā-ḵār, which means "male." It is quite clear what the Bible is saying. Men having sex with other men is a sin. Is the idea of "s…

If you truly feared God, you would remember Sodom. Hate is not the goal, but the Bible is quite clear. You cannot pick and choose what values you want to believe.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
