Wow. That's a shame. It makes me wonder what I'd do if it were me. Honestly, my first reaction might be, "The dude is spiking the woman's drink. Bad! The woman is...putting something in the man's drink, but why? Inconclusive!" I think I'd be more likely to say something right away if it were the woman's drink being spiked. For the man, I'd probably hesitate until I saw him looking sick or otherwise bothered. Or if the woman looked super sketchy while doing it. If she seemed casual, I'd be more l…

Wow, r/MensRights. The discussion here has given me a lot to think about. You may have changed my mind on some things.

What part, specifically, is confusing you? I'll clarify.

Yeah, everytime this image is brought up, the consensus is generally the same - this is stupid and hurts the legitimacy of an issue that is actually quite serious. So stop it. PS - I'm gay and a female, so I have no idea how this relates to me, anyway.

So I'm not the only one who thought so.

And then, "Why am I single?! Why is it so hard to meet men?!"

Exactly this. Let us know if you can, OP. Publicly praising/naming universities that do the right thing is a great step.

You are making a difference, and people are noticing. This seems like an appropriate place to post this since I don't want to start a new topic over the experience I just had today. I'm a female children's photographer. I thought of this subreddit today at one of my shoots at a preschool. A little boy and a little girl got into a fight (not physical, just arguing and posturing the way little kids do), and the boy's friend stopped him and told him in a very serious voice, "When boys and girls get…

Honestly, couldn't tell you with any degree of certainty, myself. I don't get into bitch-fights with gay men or anything (nor do they with me). It has never been hostile in my case. We simply rarely mesh well. It feels like a personality thing, like, "Okay, hi. You're gay. Cool. ...Yeah, I've got absolutely nothing else in common with you, see you later." I have only a small handful of gay men who I am friends with, and I almost feel like that's an oddity and I need to cling to them because it a…

I have noticed that lesbians tend to not get along with gay men and vice-versa. Lesbian here. In my experience, I can confirm this. I'm sure there are exceptions, but just not in my life (in general).

It means when you're looking someone in the eyes, you're really only picking one eye to look into and not switching to look into the other. I don't remember where I read about it before, but switching back and forth between eyes (maybe just rapidly, but could be switching back and forth in general) when you look at someone sends some kind of message of insecurity, weakness, or neediness. Ever notice those scenes in movie or TV shows where two characters are in a physically close scene where one …

Mostly I'm referring to the part where he suddenly leans in to kiss the girls. Maybe I'm not understanding the technique because it's not being played out in "real time", but it seems like there's not enough conversation. It seems like, "Hey. How are you?" Make out. I'd be so very, very uncomfortable if anyone simply leaned in that suddenly to make out if I've barely spent a minute talking to them. The part where he leans on the girls and talks to them and does the whole "kiss and keep talking l…

It blows my mind that other girls (or anyone being picked up) would go along with this at all. Then again, maybe this is normal in a club? I just know if anyone tried any of this with me, it'd make me entirely uncomfortable.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
