Yes, I believe marriage presents huge issues for men, but I also think it's hard to simplify sexual problems in relationships. He admitted that his wife 1) has perimenopause 2) works and makes a hundred grand. If she was a housewife or stay at home mom, I anticipate her libido would not be as low as it currently is.

I think there are complicated health issues that do it, including birth control, which causes a plethora of psychological issues in women. It's hard to simplify certain problems. The sexual issues are usually health problems. Lots of men and women at that age start developing thyroid issues, which leads to low energy and sex drive. Further working 40-80 hr weeks makes it impossible to be intimate. I would say investigate the cause behind the cause, because these issues are often complex.

I've been in the same boat, but ultimately, one should never compromise on personal morals. It's the only thing keeping society from completely breaking down. I get where you are coming from, but only sleazy women do that. I get that they prey on "nice guys", but men also have the responsibly of vetting the kind of women they associate with.
