There's not a benefit that won't be heavily outweighted by the drawbacks in validating woman. What drawbacks? Making her feel good about herself? The difference is effort, being settled while doing less effort is far better than be settled while pulling teeth. No the difference is not being settled for at all because of your lack of effort. We're going in a circle here where I assert that women aren't going to approach unremarkable men and then you ignore me and keep assuming that everyone would…

We don't. yes we do. just because a man is unsuccessful doesn't mean it's not beneficial It's not, if the woman is not attracted to you you're seen as a nuisance at best, most woman find unatractive men approaching them as offensive. Neutral men, ie: guys she thinks are npcs can benefit from validating her. Ugly men eat shit though yes Getting in their radar don't make them more attracted to you, you just get to be the second option what is far worse than not be a option at all. Settling is what…

In this scenario I'm talking about women directly telling men they're interested and not just showing IOI.

It's logical to me that there are more opportunists than active players. A man that's been approached by a woman he's not interested doesn't have to be a player to sleep with her, only an opportunist.

Men collectively conform to the societal norm of male approaches female by being the initiators. And you're correct; it isn't a war because both sides would suffer from changing the status quo. That's why the post is titled "everyone is worse off when women approach"

Most extreme example I have is a girl locking me in the basement with one of her friends I barely knew with the intention to get me laid (which I ended up leaving through the back door because holy shit). A really weird pattern I've noticed is the girls who are the most insistent on setting me up romantically end up looking for something with me later.

Because they're famous talented men that undergo cosmetic surgery and use makeup to physically appeal to women great discussion! To address your actual point yes I think men in the manosphere choose to believe that women are primarily attracted to masculinity because they themselves want to be a masculine man. Instead of struggling over the differences between the ideal man they want to be and the ideal man that women want them to be they prefer to imagine both as one and the same. Easier that w…

This is just one woman but I do have a funny anecdote where a female friend said that girls only care about personality. I brought up how she frequently mentions that she's only attracted to white men and especially not asian men and she looked bewildered. It's like in that moment she discovered race is not a part of personality lmao

Because women's actions and (public) words are usually in conflict. What do you even call it when a girl says height doesn't matter but all of her boyfriends "just happened" to be 6'3? Lying? Being oblivious? Whatever it it's not the truth. Men will see enough cases of dishonesty and just ignore everything women say about their preferences and propose all of their intuitions as fact. To be fair to them, a not insignificant amount of guys on this sub are only here to vent their resentment towards…

I don't buy this "coming home from work too tired to be in a relationship" thing. Dating is the easiest thing ever if both of you actually like each other and aren't trying to emulate some kind of exciting movie lifestyle. That sounds like a reasonable argument for a declining birth rate, but what amounts to just hanging out with another person? Nah. We're not Japanese. We don't work 18 hours a day and sleep in the office. You have time to date. Rationalizations like this just feel like a deflec…

You and I can easily tell the guys they date are assholes because we don't have anything they want. Assholes aren't rude to the women they're trying to get inside until they start getting complacent.

In terms of physical labor and sharing drugs and things like that yeah. In terms of money though I've never had an experience where female friends feel obligated to my wallet. Usually I'm the one bumming off of them lol

I mean, yeah. The guys that throw parties women actually go to are usually good looking and hang out with other good looking guys. The hosts will let in 20 random women off the street in before they let in a nerdy fat motherfucker that doesn't know anybody. Looking at "Pool party attendants" is selecting for the best looking guys, and young women that are social enough to leave their house ever.

The point of the article was to respond to the claim that most men are getting into relationships. Whether they want them or not isn't relevant. But tbh I do not believe 99% of men that say "i'm single by choice i could totally get a girlfriend if i wanted to trust me bro" If you want to trust them, that's your choice.

Mathematically speaking, if the majority of men get into relationships, and they do But they literally don't. At least young men (the demographic OP was talking about) in the US. https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2023/02/08/for-valentines-day-5-facts-about-single-americans/ It amazes me that this study made the internet go nuclear for like a week and then everyone threw it in the gutter.

bit unfair to compare male movie stars to females, considering men can be cool or funny or danny devito while nearly every woman is judged primarily on their sexual appeal to either the audience or casting manager. the male wall isn't about them becoming wrinkly hags anyway, it's that modern women are conditioned to think of older dudes into them as creepy and predatory and will only open their mind if it's a celebrity or a rich dude passport broing it up. men do just fine with women their age, …
