Yeah. A lot of women being on the side of ‘liberal’ generally just means societal help and benfits for her, but that shouldn’t warrant calling her an actual progressive or liberal when she turns around and encourages traditional views against men, at her/womens specific benfit. Yes. I think this is why the left gives a pass to women who are both conservative and vote conservative, and it’s why the left gives a pass to “liberal” women who have conservative views of other demographics (men, trans, gay people), but since she at least has progressive views of herself and women, she’s deemed as liberal.

Yes. I’ve seen people say that conservative women, are only conservative because of men, or because of misogony (men hating women). Which this removes agency from her, but also makes it seem like she’s not conservative by her own accord. I also think that people assume that a woman having some progressive views (that solely benifit herself) instantly = liberal. A lot of feminist or liberal women (not all liberal women of course but a lot) simply have very sexist or conservative views of the male…
