June 23 - Weekly Improvement & Progress ThreadI was gonna write a post with a deeper explanation but for now I can tell you this. You can improve and be better at school subjects, however at a certain point it becomes redundant. Finding the balance between academics and social development (which is extremely important when looking for a job) should be your focus. Therefore, you must develop a strategy, that will let you achieve high grades as well as allow you to have free time to spend with your friends, explore new hobbies and have a part… | /r/TheRedPill | 24/06/17 02:36 AM
June 23 - Weekly Improvement & Progress ThreadHaven’t done one last week, so I will cover both weeks. Proud of myself for sticking to my 6-day gym routine for 5 weeks+ now. Used to skip at least 1-2 sessions but have now disciplined myself and it’s working. Doesn’t feel like an achievement, just a nice addition to self-improvement. Started reading The Rational Male, picked up a few interesting concepts on the way but have only read 1/5th of the book so far. Aced a couple of tests in school with minimum revision and good study planning. Stud… | /r/TheRedPill | 23/06/17 01:38 PM
Weird shit test I've never gotten beforeDon't comment and try to help others without having a proper understanding of the shit testing concept first. First of all, he did not dispute anything. He essentially implied that he doesn't give a fuck (abundance attitude). Secondly, ignoring the shit test is sometimes a way to go (it's better than failing it by coming up with a bad response). OP, I think this response was pretty good, you showed her (hopefully confidently) that you don't give a fuck and she is not your only option. | /r/askTRP | 12/06/17 01:54 PM
June 09 - Weekly Improvement & Progress ThreadI don't eat sugar at all, from processed foods - only when I go out as a necessity. Apart from that I ear fairly clean. | /r/TheRedPill | 10/06/17 05:29 AM
June 09 - Weekly Improvement & Progress ThreadOne cup of coffee in the morning (mid-strength latte). Rarely have any more than that. | /r/TheRedPill | 10/06/17 05:29 AM
June 09 - Weekly Improvement & Progress ThreadI'll need to try mediation, because this has been going on for more than a year. | /r/TheRedPill | 10/06/17 05:28 AM
June 09 - Weekly Improvement & Progress ThreadYou're absolutely right. I need more date-game practise and I know for a fact that it will help. My night game used to be horrible, until I started going out a lot and approaching for fun. After a few month, I have no trouble with it. | /r/TheRedPill | 10/06/17 05:27 AM
June 09 - Weekly Improvement & Progress ThreadMore than I'd like to admit. Possibly 7-8 hours, which mostly includes work. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/06/17 03:47 PM
June 09 - Weekly Improvement & Progress ThreadIf you consider playing sports as cardio - then yes. However, I'm inconsistent with it, plus the fact that I am trying to gain mass (I'm pretty lean right now) stops me from doing any proper cardio. And I don't meditate. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/06/17 03:22 PM
June 09 - Weekly Improvement & Progress ThreadBeen going to the gym 6 times a week for the past month, which I am really proud of. I used to skip 1-2 sessions, but got very consistent now. Sticked to my nutritional plan, however due to going out a few times this week, had to eat fast food. Not too worried about it, since I'm trying to gain mass. It's been alright in terms of social life. Talking to anyone doesn't seem like a problem anymore. Ever since my failed date few weeks back, I started regaining confidence. I tried to push myself out… | /r/TheRedPill | 09/06/17 02:51 PM
Saturday night date, sudden collapse of confidence and what I've learnt from the rejectionProbably, but I reckon I'm far away from being able to understand everything on an unconscious level. So how did you act in your situation after that happened? | /r/TheRedPill | 01/06/17 06:49 AM
Saturday night date, sudden collapse of confidence and what I've learnt from the rejectionExcept the cat needs to be interested in the string in the first place. If it doesn't care about the string, it wouldn't chase it no matter where it is. | /r/TheRedPill | 31/05/17 07:40 AM
Saturday night date, sudden collapse of confidence and what I've learnt from the rejectionEven though it was bad, it was nowhere near that bad. As I said I acted normal and barely showed signs of being sad. I tried to act as if I don't care. | /r/TheRedPill | 31/05/17 07:39 AM
Saturday night date, sudden collapse of confidence and what I've learnt from the rejectionWhat makes you think she likes me? | /r/TheRedPill | 31/05/17 07:38 AM
Saturday night date, sudden collapse of confidence and what I've learnt from the rejectionYou are right, there is no "one girl". About school, I don't have motivation, I have discipline that forces me to keep going even if I don't like it. Apart from school I enjoy everything else - lifting, my hobbies, spending time with friends and even my job. I haven't read the rational male, I reckon I will have a look at it today and have a read. | /r/TheRedPill | 30/05/17 10:01 PM
Saturday night date, sudden collapse of confidence and what I've learnt from the rejectionThat was a great read, thanks man! I totally agree that I shouldn't have asked and just acted. But I guess my confidence decided to mess up with my brain. I will try to care as little as possible but time will show. | /r/TheRedPill | 30/05/17 09:58 PM
Saturday night date, sudden collapse of confidence and what I've learnt from the rejectionI never even thought about this before. I should've planned the date better with more fun and active stuff to do then just sitting there together. Thanks for the tip man! | /r/TheRedPill | 30/05/17 09:46 PM
Saturday night date, sudden collapse of confidence and what I've learnt from the rejectionThanks man! You are right about not focusing on one girl, and as I said previously even though she wasn't "the perfect girl" I still felt like I had something to lose. But I guess now it's time to just move on. | /r/TheRedPill | 30/05/17 09:44 PM
Saturday night date, sudden collapse of confidence and what I've learnt from the rejectionI understand that I should avoid emotional investment early on. I have no idea why with me knowing this, my brain still can't avoid it. I reckon I will just move on and go for other girls without really thinking about her. I don't think think there is any strategical way to fix things up and even if there is, I doubt whether or not it is the right choice. | /r/TheRedPill | 30/05/17 01:53 PM
Saturday night date, sudden collapse of confidence and what I've learnt from the rejectionThanks a lot for the detailed report. You are 100% right about analysing someone else's story, because no emotions are involved. Here is the first sign of desperation in your story. A chink in your armor. I would assume this is the point when you began to fantasize about what life would be like if Ellie was your girlfriend. Girls can subconsiously smell this on you. I wouldn't say I fantasized but I definitely wanted to go on a date with her/hookup. This step is essential. You need to have an ab… | /r/TheRedPill | 30/05/17 01:49 PM
Saturday night date, sudden collapse of confidence and what I've learnt from the rejectionReally appreciate your advice man. In all honesty, I was not 100% sure if I wanted a relationship. I had (and unfortunately still have) feelings for this girl, but until she brought up relationship in the conversation - I wasn't even going to discuss it with her. I'm not gonna lie I definitely wanted to hook up with her see where it goes from there. Right now I live an interesting life in my opinion or at least do the best I can whilst maintaining high grades. I'm saving up some money to travel … | /r/TheRedPill | 30/05/17 01:32 PM
The actual reason why this sub is bashed by othersI feel like people hate this sub because it helps people to become a better version of themselves through hard work and dedication. People are jealous. People don't want others to be successful, because that means it would bring them down. How often do you hear someone bash bodybuilders because "all of them use steroids, their dick doesn't work and I could've done it myself but I just don't want to"? What they really mean is they have no dedication and are too lazy to work on themselves. It is m… | /r/TheRedPill | 30/05/17 11:37 AM
One night stands actually make me feel anxious. The key idea is do what you want without caring about what others will think of it. If you don't want to have anything sexual with women until 2nd/3rd/4th date etc. - then don't, because it is your life and your choice. One of the things about being a leader is making decisions yourself. | /r/TheRedPill | 30/05/17 06:51 AM
Keep that shit to yourselfAs long as I feel like I can solve a problem myself - I would not ask anybody else for help. Obviously, when the problem is too serious and I feel like it can hurt my mental health - I talk about it with my close friends, but never women. Wish you luck on your journey, be strong and help yourself - because you care the most about your own future. | /r/TheRedPill | 29/05/17 12:36 PM
