Try to resolve these things on your own first. I have been involved with lawyer and have spedn 50k but not much i can do as my wife wants to fight. Just going through this so i can chime a bit. You have to pay child support as it is satutory. You should take a look at the child support calculator. Your son is 17 and daughter is 15 so if you spend an entire year with your son till he turns 18 and your wife spends an entire year with your daughter then child support might be on 50/50 during that one year period only. What are your timing for the kids? You need to put it down in writing. Check your state laws and see what the laws are. Never ever and i do mean ever just assume its not strict. You are lucky you got 60%. Courts don't care weather she was having 1 or multiple affairs. You really got lucky. She most probably felt guilty or her new boy toy wanted this to be over. I am still going through the process. Close to 2 years, once Child Custody was signed i moved out. I have zero regrets, it's been 45 days since I have moved out and I am loving it. If you are in a bad marriage get it done sooner than later. As someone else said here, the only regret I have is too not doing this sooner.

Took me 16 months to finalize custody. Spend 40k on custody. Now she's fighting on money and since i have pre marital asset she will take it court. She doesn't have to but she will and i am prepared. ​ Bro this is war, don't show your hand, don't tell her about your plans, don't say anything. if you are living in the same house get a recorder like sony, you will need it. Its not,the only thing that stops when divorce is filed is the spousal support, and thats that. If divorce are dragged not much you can do about it. Nothing is logical in a divorce, no one cares about anything. They are just here to protect the system and you are part of the system. You are just a number and thats pretty much that. My divorce will be 2 year, the only thing decided was child custody. If you don't have children then i doubt your divorce will be dragged that much.

It will only be half of the 401k that you earned in 2 years of marriage plus if there are any profits. Date of Marriage and Date of the final divorce is how the proceeds will be split from both you and her account.

Its a pretty messed up system, common sense dictate if its a toxic marriage then you go spend time someplace else, however if you left your house, she will get the kids and you will become EOW (End of Week) dad. I honestly don't know, I think it the fact that 16 months of my life has passed and my court date is 2 months ahead and i am not sure if things will get settled down by June or July next year. ​ The worst thing is her coaching the kids. I already have a lawyer, right now fighting on child custody, got a letter of intergotorries which i am about to fill. From a money prespective we are ok, she makes 2ice then me but i have more saving as i am 10 years older then her, so i am hoping i might be out of this divorce by paying her 40k or so. My advice to you is first go here https://forum.mensdivorce.com/ Make a game plan it might take a year or so but do your homework and remember radio silence with your spouse until you have a plan especially if you have children.
