I'm curious - which ones? I don't remember specifics, I've just heard the stories too many times. And I've seen other people prove it to me, so I believe it. But I don't have a source handy and those search terms are going to bring up a ton of garbage to sift through. It's not like they're going to advertise the fact on their website. As far as lawyers go, same thing. But here, from one law office's website. some unscrupulous clients and attorneys try to take advantage of this rule to gain an ad…

There are bullshit advocacy groups that advise women to do this. There are lawyers that advise their clients to do this. Maybe the usefulness and risk vary by state. But with as many dirty tricks as women regularly utilize, including false accusations, it seems critical to use any advantage possible. Women lie to get restraining orders every single day. Why don't they get punished? It should go without saying that anyone should consult with an attorney before using advice from reddit.

I have skin bridges from my shaft skin to the head/glans. The shaft skin fused to my glans. This covers roughly 40% of the circumference and it is difficult to keep clean underneath the skin bridges. It restricts erections, pulling to one side when the skin is taught. So by finish, I mean cut the skin bridges from the glans, and trim the skin, and I assume stitch the wound on the glans and stitch the skin where it should be, like the rest of it

I am sorry for you about what you've gone through, too. Thanks for the recommendation, I just joined. I have never really looked into restoration. Mostly I've been dreading needing to get my circumcision, erm, "finished" so to speak, and the recovery from that. I suppose I probably shouldn't do anything until I've fully researched restoration and perhaps consulted with some surgeon that specializes in that, if they exist.

There are studies showing many negative effects from the trauma of infant circumcision.

I still have physical side effects from my circumcision, and it has easily been my biggest source of shame and obstacle to confidence in life. I wasn't sexually assaulted as a kid, but I support your sentiment. Circumcision can have tremendously destructive effects on people's lives. Tbh, I wanted sexual attention from anyone I could get it from because it would have countered my inescapable belief that no one would be attracted to me or be accepting of my issues overall.

Think of how stupid the average person is. And consider that half of everyone is dumber than that. And this applies to women of course. There's a lot of women who couldn't figure things out for themselves and easily buy into the narrative. No matter how good their life is, they'll believe men have it easier.

Did you cover yourself because you don't want to be seen? Or because you felt it was a requirement out of respect for her as a woman? If it was me, I wouldn't cover up and I'd go about my business, because if she didn't want to see, she should have followed the normal protocol for the situation.

Sommers and Paglia are old school feminists. They understand feminism better than most. And have been witnesses to the cancer spreading. Straughan makes very, very compelling arguments. Recognizing class as a greater determining factor than sex undermines the general feminist narrative. I appreciate that you care about men. But drawing attention to crazy feminists when feminist theory is full of crazy, is itself a diversion. The feminists who wrote the textbooks are crazy feminists. I don't blame you or dislike you. You seem pretty reasonable. Maybe you could eventually come to distance yourself from the feminist label. I know these kind of debates are tiresome and time-consumi…

Since when do feminists ever settle for the dictionary definition of a word? They certainly don't believe in the dictionary definition of misogyny or sexism. But "Men are responsible for almost everything good or bad" is not even the dictionary definition of patriarchy. The definition of about power, not outcome. The men who pick up your garbage and maintain the sewer system to whisk away your shit do not have power over you. They are your servants. They are enabling your cushy first world lifes…
/r/MensRights13/01/23 10:54 PM

Surely this isn't the first time that you have heard the feminist idea that patriarchy oppresses women. The previous comment you were replying to, that said men are responsible for practically everything that happens in the world, good or bad, is not the literal (feminist) definition of patriarchy. You need the oppression or domination element. Since it's not there in the comment, presumably you're assuming it.
/r/MensRights13/01/23 03:32 PM

You assume that men do things for the benefit of men. Generally men don't give a shit about men. Women have a measurable same group preference for other women. Men do not have a measurable same group preference for other men. Men do care more about women than they care about men.

As far as I know, Karen is still active with HoneyBadgerRadio with Allison Tieman. But HBR has never interested me much, as I'm not really a fan of podcast-type content nor videos with several people. I love her solo videos, but have watched very little of HBR. I think she made a big mistake forsaking her solo-channel for HBR. This could rob social security benefits from his other children, if he has any. One friend of mine, whose dad was murdered when he was a kid, said that the survivor benefits were first split between the children from his mom, and the child of some fling he had. So half went to my friend and his 2 siblings, who were poor. So he got 1/6th of the benefit. While his half-sister he never met, who lived in Mexico and whose family was rich, got 1/2. I think that would be a terrible thing to do to a guy…

The majority of male politicians are afraid of doing anything that could be considered anti-woman. And they feel like heroes for doing anything that purportedly helps women, even if it doesn't. It's a feminist fallacy that male politicians work for the benefit of men. Women as a group have a definite and measurable same-group preference, men as a group don't. No one really cares about men, and that includes men. (Reddit won't let me reply to AlienSamurai's comments, so I had to reply to yours)

That's an argument to punish doctors, and perhaps put safeguards in place, not ban unnecessary circumcision. Infant circumcision that isn't actually medically necessary should be illegal, regardless of whether some doctors enjoy it. Parents should also refuse it. Tell parents that some doctors enjoy it, that could help them decide to not let doctors do it, but it won't help get it banned.

It's not inserted in the anus or a vagina, so no. Perhaps if an object was inserted in the urethra it would count, but so would catheterization. Giving someone an intramuscular penicillin shot in the butt cheek is not rape, so neither is circumcision. It's common for doctors to stick their fingers in butts to check for constipation or whatever. Happened to me at least twice when I was a kid cause my mom thought I was constipated. I wouldn't even call that rape, though technically it would qualif…

That seems like faulty logic. It doesn't fit the definition. Catheterization is a lot closer to rape than circumcision.

My botched circumcision was performed by a medical student. No mutilation > expertly performed mutilation > med student botched mutilation. Doctors are trained to perform it and trained that it's normal and acceptable. Let's save babies from mutilation, why make it about the doctors? Public urination is legal in my state and the cities around me as long as no one can see you.
/r/MensRights10/09/22 03:13 PM

Medically unnecessary circumcision on minors should be illegal in the best case scenarios, not just the worst case. And some doctors enjoying it is not a valid reason to ban all doctors from performing it. So argue on the very real and undeniable harm it causes, not some possible edge cases. I'm sure some gynecologists enjoy their job quite a bit, some probably enjoy it even more when performing exams on girls, that doesn't mean women shouldn't get pap smears and girls shouldn't get whatever med…

I can understand why you feel that way, but that's not how definitions or law work. According to the US Department of Justice, updated in 2012: “The penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.” Holding a penis with your hands, attaching a device to it, and cutting the foreskin, don't qualify as rape. Rape is essentially forced sex, meaning forceful or coerced penetration, and in some places has been expanded to include, essentially, forceful envelopment. Fondling a girl's genitals externally is assault/molestation not rape. The traditional briss or whatever where Rabbis use their teeth to circumcise, sure that's rape Bite someone's dick off? Sure, rape. But mutilating a body part is mutilation, assault, molestation.
/r/MensRights10/09/22 02:05 AM

I don't think it qualifies as rape... But it is assault. One can argue whether it's sexual assault if there's no sexual intentions on the part of the perpetrators, but it is a brutal assault. There's also possible complications. I have skin bridges where my glans fused with my shaft. It restricts erections. You can see part of it if you check my profile but that's only the top view, 40%-ish of the circumference is fused with skin bridges. I need to get it fixed, but to me aftercare(keeping it cl…

It is reasonable to equate it with sexual assault, but not rape. It doesn't meet any definition of rape. Truthfully, it's worse than many kinds of sexual assault. A woman getting groped, for instance, is much less serious than a baby's penis being mutilated. I know you won't agree with that, but I stand by it.

Men asked women how many partners they had way before "Red Pill" existed, even way before the analogy was written for The Matrix. Men wanted women to be virgins and monogamous in the distant past because it was seen to be the most effective way to guarantee paternity of the women's children. Men didn't want to expend any of their limited resources providing for the children of other men, and men that didn't mind doing it would be less likely to reproduce, so it creates an evolutionary pressure o…

It is scientific (historical) fact that men have been treated as disposable throughout history. "male disposability" as it is discussed and debated is describing what has and does happen, it is not arguing what should happen. Male disposability has served a purpose evolutionarily, otherwise it would have been eliminated via natural selection. It's not fair to men, but natural selection is not a conscious process that can even comprehend the concept of fairness.
/r/MensRights31/08/22 05:30 PM

I just told you of several. Here's Karen Straughan https://youtu.be/C-m98xmCng0 If she doesn't count to you, you're going to need to do a better job of defining "redpilller".

PUAs talk about that pretty much exclusively. MGTOW have a wide range of views. Some have casual sex. Some use the services of sex workers. Some abstain from sex. Some hire women to be surrogate mothers so they can have children without any relationship with women. Some of those use in vitro fertilization to avoid any possibility of a false accusation. MRAs have a strong trend towards being what you might call tradcons. Many of them became MRAs after being screwed over in family court. Those men…

Yeah, I don't like any of the newer content creators I've seen. As far as I'm concerned, Karen Straughan is the standard-bearer and a thought leader for MRAs, Diana Davison and Sandman are the two opposite sides of MGTOW thought, and Roosh V is the poster child for PUAs. Clearly I haven't been staying up on all the new people. I wouldn't call any of them coaches, but PUAs would be similar to dating coaches.

How is this connected to red pill? Are you referring to PUAs? Generally speaking, MRAs are more likely to be sexually conservative, and take issue with promiscuous women. They prefer traditional monogamous relationships. MGTOW also take issue with promiscuous women who they describe as "riding the c___ carousel". Red Pill is more MRA and MGTOW, than it is PUA. MGTOW = "take red pill knowledge, decide relationships with women are too risky in modern society, so distance themselves from any such e…

Wait, what's wrong with taking pictures of people in public?

Misogyny is in the eye of the beholder. It can be as rampant as they want it to be, because they can expand the definition to include the most inane stuff. They can call literally anything misogyny and people will buy into it. Holding a door for a woman? Misogyny. Not holding a door for a woman? Misogyny.

That is... Some seriously bone-headed thinking on his part. You sound like a fantastic partner.

Sorry for the late reply, I don't use reddit all that much. I think there are a variety of opinions. I'm sure some are hypersensitive to the perception of being cast into the friend zone. By this, I mean they see requests for help from women to be signs that the women are trying to use them. I do know women sometimes do use men like that, I've experienced it myself. And of course, sometimes men use women too. I imagine many MGTOWs are happy to have female friends as friends with benefits. Let me…

It seems like she has a fairly limited perception of "Red pill" Red Pill encompasses: MGTOWs(men going their own way): they believe society is set up to privilege women, and therefore don't want anything to do with women, except perhaps casual sex. Some want to use surrogate mothers to have children via artificial insemination. MRAs(mens rights activists): they believe society is set up to the advantage of women, and they want to fix it via activism. Most do want relationships with women, but ma…

I don't think you'll see many men from the varied movements (that this subreddit seems to lump together as a monolith called Red Pill) complaining about women putting their kids together first. What they don't want is the women putting some other guy's/guys' kids before them. Besides, most of what they're talking about is putting their careers and goals first, before women. I didn't catch if I'm replying to a man or woman or other, so for simplicity I'll assume you're a woman that likes men. Are…

Do you use "Red Pill" to mean "PUA"? Red Pill encompasses MGTOWs and MRA, and a lot more.

When did "Red Pill" come to mean a cross between incel and PUA? What about MGTOWs and MRA?

It's like she doesn't have object permanence, when she can't perceive something it doesn't exist.

Lol it's funny how this woman A. Thinks she can speak for all women and 2. Thinks that because she had never heard of it, that means it doesn't exist.
