That's why you beat them to the punch, find a good buddy you do trust and get a business gay marriage done and fuck em haters all over.
/r/MensRights01/07/26 08:27 AM
9

By that measure, why the fuck even bring it up in the first place dipshit
/r/MensRights24/06/26 06:22 AM

It is not an epidemic. Yes if does happen but not the numbers they try to claim. They just gaslight themselves and eachother into believing that, then get all freakout about it.
/r/MensRights29/05/26 08:18 AM

So you saying that the anti women misogynistic men are thusly correct in that thinking, because clearly the women folk acted badly enough to be deserving to All women, right right asshole?
/r/MensRights21/05/26 08:02 AM

It's funny how YOU assume they somehow are all telling the truth.

Stop spamming this garbage, this has been posted several times here already
/r/MensRights26/01/26 06:34 AM

That's exactly why you need to learn to keep your hands off and keep them to yourself. Everyone has a right to self defense.
/r/MensRights25/01/26 06:47 AM
2

Go make yourself safe. It is no man's job and you are owed nothing.
/r/MensRights04/01/26 08:13 AM
14

Yes, and that is exactly the point. This is not rocket science. That alone is already an example and explains a lot, answers your own question. Welcome to the club.
/r/MensRights28/12/25 07:06 AM

Mods here should NEVER allow any of these studies or researchers to post here. It is ALWAYS the same shit, feminist bullshittery twisting any and all questions. Worse is that a lot of people here fall for it and answer them.
/r/MensRights17/12/25 10:07 AM

Some states are also starting to automatically register people when they get ID'S, not direct signing or consent or freedom to choose to obey or not.
/r/MensRights24/05/25 06:31 AM
19

Looked up you history to see the comments. That was 1 person with a jacked fake account. Most here very much are accepting and welcoming to us gay man. We do get to s of hate trolls trying to make trouble though.
/r/MensRights23/05/25 08:58 AM
17

Well, first I think we need to get to help for men being something better than "oh your a man, good hurry up and die fucking mysogynist bastard and stop bothering women" that has quite a lot to do with it
/r/MensRights15/05/25 06:07 AM
2

If we're going to do the time, we may as well do the crime. Simple as that.
/r/MensRights20/04/25 06:36 AM
53

And. The word you're looking for is "and" not "or"
/r/MensRights21/03/25 06:21 AM
13

Yup, then it would be all "omg, how dare you experiment on all these women"
/r/MensRights11/03/25 05:47 AM
6

Don't forget the "not a woman, no opinion" slogan they loved for a bit
/r/MensRights02/03/25 08:10 AM
2

Tell that to women
/r/MensRights01/02/25 08:59 AM
5

Okay, now tell that to all the women whining about abortion rights. We'll wait.
/r/MensRights30/01/25 10:06 AM

She can get her tubes tied if she really wants, it's her problem not ours. If that kind of thinking is good for feminists about men, it's good enough for us.
/r/MensRights27/01/25 10:02 AM
15

No no no, because you see, according to women and feminists even looking at a woman is flat out grape, can't have this story be not be grape also.
/r/MensRights19/01/25 11:33 AM
24

Yes, because the big secret is, the so-called loved one's, are at least partially to blame for the situation and the suicide attempter don't care anymore. I've been there and done that enough to know.
/r/MensRights18/06/24 06:15 AM
2

Exactly, but do try to understand that we get attempts at gotchas and sly twisted words frequently in these parts so we gotta pay attention to that. The commenter may or may not have intended it that way, but still gotta be careful about noticing it.
/r/MensRights06/06/24 01:10 PM
2

Bogus psyops bullshit. Notice it is "strange man" not something like "an unknown male stranger". The minutia of the language used is very leading. It isn't just a man but a strange man. It is also low key sexist because unknown male is somehow equal to strange, which is different from stranger, thus all unknown male are automatically strange and thus bad because male.
/r/MensRights06/06/24 08:52 AM
2

Good luck, it's a fucked up state. LAWYER LAWYER LAWYER, keep pushing and don't give up, metaphorically lawyer her to death, don't defend but attack. That's what you gotta do.
/r/MensRights21/04/24 06:10 AM
3

Yes, gay men are still men and men's rights are generally inclusive. I want to note, as a middle aged gay man who has seen the changes, I gotta say I am afraid of the inevitable blowback the bad eggs are going to cause.
/r/MensRights21/04/24 05:52 AM

Half of that article is drivel that sounds like it was written by a person who would say "I read it on the Internet and everyone knows you can't put anything on the Internet that isn't true"
/r/MensRights16/04/24 06:13 AM

I think I get what you are saying, but right now doing that helps keep him safe from accusations.

It's UPE- used-up pussy energy
/r/MensRights07/02/24 06:06 AM
1

Yes. I really don't like the whole "think about what you suicide would do/ mean for us" crap. They are a part of the reasons we get to that point so why should I care. It's victim blaming narcissistic shaming tactic.
/r/MensRights02/02/24 07:05 AM
18

No, it's likely someone just accidentally started counting the men affected. That is how these things usually go.
/r/MensRights05/12/23 08:13 AM
8

You misunderstood the term. In context it means "a woman pretending to give a shit about anyone and anything other than what she wants in that nanosecond." Also look up Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
/r/MensRights30/11/23 09:18 AM
4

Also a big element of "the boys at all boys school are doing better and are thinking for themselves we can't allow that!" I'm sure
/r/MensRights23/11/23 05:56 AM
1

I'm going to give you benefit of the doubt, and rephrase your statement. "I don't see how a woman can be raped, if she gets wet or cums she clearly enjoyed it and therefore wanted it so it can't be rape."
/r/MensRights08/11/23 07:42 AM
6

Yes, I've had one (I'm a man) and yah that shit hurts. I got lucky with "it's benign" so that was good but damn my titty hurted.
/r/MensRights21/10/23 04:41 AM

Reverse your thought. How do you think your partner feels about all the people you had sex with besides them? Don't know if you are troll or weird but this line of thinking is be bad for you if this is genuine.
/r/MensRights11/09/23 06:23 AM

"but...but...how am I supposed to make money being sexy now?" About sums it all up really
/r/MensRights18/08/23 06:57 AM

The idiots think this makes them "look beyond a 10, so the menses folks will be intimididated bys me beauty and be just soooo soooo totes unapproachable brittknee!" -->typos are deliberate

Or life size adult Barbie sex dolls what were they 10k a piece, we should remind them that if Barbie is soooo great
/r/MensRights02/08/23 03:47 AM

Generally you're right, but men do also make such false claims too. They don't make news though. I, a gay man, have been false accused but fortunately actions taken were only token lip service and no records of it even exist.
/r/MensRights27/07/23 04:41 AM
3

You seem like a bad faith troll
/r/MensRights26/07/23 04:50 AM

Yup, as a former longtime suicidal man, that is a huge problem the victim blaming bs
/r/MensRights15/07/23 06:11 AM

What patriarchy? There is no patriarchy. Prove it.
/r/MensRights15/07/23 06:03 AM

Should have replied: "yes you look like a hideous dead cow so to hell"
/r/MensRights05/05/23 10:53 AM
12

You consented when you had sex
/r/MensRights13/04/23 03:38 AM

A relevant not always considered small fact to remember: white or Caucasian babies tend to be born blonde and blue eyed. The colors change over time to their real permanent colors a bit later.
/r/MensRights04/04/23 04:04 AM
2

But it's okay. You see that just means if she got wet or enjoyed it, that isn't rape anymore right ladies??
/r/MensRights26/02/23 05:20 AM
86

The only answer is sexism
/r/MensRights24/02/23 04:30 AM
24

try to say that to women and see what kind of response you get
/r/MensRights15/02/23 06:32 AM
1

Didn't read the whole thing, but a small nitpick. The word "gals" is the female version of "guys" but "guys" can also be used gender neutral.
/r/MensRights12/02/23 03:56 AM
3

I'm too lazy right now but, lots of contributing factors that are mostly being ignored making everyone crazy man, woman, whatever. This is some of the consequences of all the things adding up.
/r/MensRights31/01/23 06:02 AM

the short answer is mental illness

remember what happens when the genders are reversed
/r/MensRights05/01/23 11:24 PM

"working as intended" is a phrase I believe applies here, what you're saying is actually a fairly common experience by the people here and importantly is a BAD thing and not appropriate to put on all men
/r/MensRights05/01/23 11:04 PM
1

unless I've misunderstood you, a partial agreement. it's crazy for sure yes, but that's why we need to take all that very seriously. seems like you were dismissive in that comment above, which is why I responded initially.
/r/MensRights10/12/22 07:19 AM
3

even "staring" is trying to be made illegal, so what they did is "excessively illegal" and a big deal
/r/MensRights10/12/22 05:28 AM
1

The ONLY acceptable and right response to that situation is to tell the ladies "well it's sucks to be you because you should have thought about that before, now GET OUT"
/r/MensRights25/11/22 05:32 AM
2

yes
/r/MensRights24/11/22 04:01 AM
1

As a former suicidal person, no I don't think so. See, that attitude comes from both women and men and mostly from the more able, and importantly the ones who are using and abusing. Even from those more on the periphery who turn a blind eye and play denial games. To both men and women as well. I don't think that would make it "misandrist" exactly just very toxic generally showing everyone why people get to that point in the first place.
/r/MensRights23/11/22 02:30 AM
3

well they wanted men to leave them alone, congratulations you got your wish. don't start crying about it now
/r/MensRights22/11/22 07:06 AM
1

Nope, sorry but we are beyond talking, it's now time for eye for an eye and blood for blood. The only way it is going to get better.
/r/MensRights21/11/22 03:59 AM
13

the thing is, we do know why it is happening, but as always it's a man thing so who gives a fuck
/r/MensRights17/11/22 09:15 AM

Well, it's allegedly based on Weinstein, noting it's not a documentary. Prepare for railroading and revisionism while passing it as gospel.
/r/MensRights09/11/22 10:51 PM
2

yup, I was 18 and dated (and later married) a 36yo, but gay so may be a bit different
/r/MensRights20/10/22 11:03 PM
13

So again, prove yourself that this patriarchy actually exists here and now, otherwise there's nothing for us to prove does not exist.
/r/MensRights20/10/22 10:45 PM
14

So you are a hypocrite troll then. We've said those same things here yet you say that is no good. Then say to us when asked for your proof. Where's my bitch-be-gone
/r/MensRights20/10/22 10:36 PM
16

let's try this then, why don't you prove to us the alleged patriarchy?
/r/MensRights20/10/22 10:19 PM
-2

it's kinda disturbing how often those same guys turn out to be Jack the Rippers or something too
/r/MensRights15/10/22 12:22 AM

yup and you wouldn't have to sign up at all to begin with
/r/MensRights12/10/22 01:53 AM

Like the "real science" that said, trust the vax it works, and NOW has shown it is more harmful than good AND doesn't work?
/r/MensRights09/10/22 10:42 PM

She had the nerve to complain about infantilizing men when all women are infantilized 24/7/365 and nobody can do what REALLY needs to be done to fix it.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 10:50 AM
3

Yes they clearly don't see the irony. If men are misogynistic, they must be victims of misandrist toxic women according to them.
/r/MensRights04/10/22 10:05 PM
1

you could also try it a bit aggressive and show up at the office unannounced and demand a refund. THAT would get you attention.
/r/MensRights03/10/22 11:17 PM

heh, just imagine a guy send this to a girl for "crazy bitch tax", dude would literally end up crucified

i am pulling an uno reverse here, why would Russian people do that? The same reason Ukrainian women are, as this sub well knows Not taking sides, I'm just saying...
/r/MensRights23/09/22 05:33 PM
2

basically said the monk's are slaves, working for others to get paid
/r/MensRights18/09/22 12:05 AM
3

yup that's what is happening here, a revenge mentality instead of corrective mentality
/r/MensRights30/08/22 12:10 AM
4

The correct response is "why wouldn't she?" She has everything to gain and zero risk.
/r/MensRights10/08/22 03:22 AM
6

No, asking why she didn't leave IS a valid question.
/r/MensRights10/08/22 02:50 AM
2

that is so weird, if he's truthful, what was he thinking
/r/MensRights04/08/22 11:23 PM
3

I don't understand why you posted this, could you explain please
/r/MensRights04/08/22 01:04 AM
78

because society doesn't care about us men, they'll just be laughing and say "good! you deserve it, let's do it again" as it always is
/r/MensRights01/08/22 08:46 AM
5

Sadly you can't, don't give an inch or they take a mile. Sooner or later they have to grow up and get over it. World is ugly and people are ugly. I was rped before, before that I was abused by mom and dad. Does that mean I get to viciously hate all men and women forever and make everyone pay? No I don't that's not how it works.
/r/MensRights23/07/22 02:47 AM
13

yep that's the point
/r/MensRights22/07/22 04:44 AM
47

interestingly enough we are not allowed men's universities, their is like only one
/r/MensRights22/07/22 04:22 AM

a return of truck nuts would have same effect i think
/r/MensRights17/07/22 01:11 AM

it also says that he was intoxicated and reading it feels like they are not telling everything; take with salt

it's more like they won't admit it
/r/MensRights08/07/22 12:30 AM

in addition to that, you have to consider if your country has "freedom of the press" type laws and what they allow or restrict
/r/MensRights07/07/22 01:08 AM

Thanks man, it has been a long time. Did a lot of healing in large part because of my late husband. Things are so much better.
/r/MensRights05/07/22 05:37 AM
3

My mom was a horrible abuser who also enabled my abuser dad. So bad that she would have shouting matches with child psychologist and way back in the mid 80's the cops straight up called cps and told them to remove and relocate me, which of course they didn't do. Led to major mother son confrontations later that barely escaped attempted/ murder charges on my part.
/r/MensRights05/07/22 05:05 AM

often times the men are given less rations if any, too

/r/MensRights01/07/22 11:31 PM

just use the floor publicly and claim ignorance
/r/MensRights28/06/22 12:11 AM
3

that appears to be about adoption which is a very different thing than what we are talking about
/r/MensRights07/06/22 01:54 AM
3

Forgive is not the right word for me. It's more like letting it stay in the past so we can all move on, and we eventually got to a much better place. However forgiveness would not be the best description.
/r/MensRights24/05/22 07:08 AM
22

You are correct OP. While this is NOT the place for my following comment, I'll leave it anyway. What really pisses me off is that whole thing about "it doesn't make things better, just [makes us] feel bad" For a whole lot of suicidals YES YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD! You ARE part of the reason why this happened. Either you passively shrug off indications or you actively add to the issues. They use statements like above to try to guilt trip a suicidal (yeah because that's totally a good idea), while maki…

don't get me wrong, i think he does mean well, but you know that old saying "the road to hell is paved with good intentions"
/r/MensRights13/05/22 06:22 AM
4

Guess what, Wilkos HAS done that a few times. In truth he is a shit stain whiteknight cuckboy, because he goes and is gentle and fawning at the ladies, while attack dogging the guys usually. Even in this clip he's desperately trying to find blame with the dad. He brags about being a cop for years, but man he must not have been paying attention.
/r/MensRights13/05/22 05:59 AM
6

Thank you, it's a long process but yes doing better. Not "fixed" but much better.
/r/MensRights11/05/22 01:48 AM
15

I have experienced abuse from both father and mother. It was largely just like the op said. Dad was a physical abuser while mom was more the psychological abuser, and we had police visits about twice a week for a while. Nobody ever really did anything but tell me I was the problem. One officer even shouted in my face a few times about how I needed to LITERALLY work myself to death to make up for me. Even CPS noped out, after cops EXPLICITLY called to have me removed from home. I was fucking like…
/r/MensRights11/05/22 01:19 AM

and seems like dad decided to let it happen while mom seems to coldly make light of it while tiktoking even calling it traumatic herself in title, kinda sick when dad starts to spring up when baby cries too
/r/MensRights09/05/22 05:16 AM
4

A transfer as you suggest probably is the best way
/r/MensRights09/05/22 02:33 AM
19

Interestingly enough, I have experienced both. Forever ago I was raped (by a man) and a few years later was accused of sexual harassment (again it was a guy, who was young dumb and obviously took something out of context, i passed investigation and witnesses sided with me). Despite damage from rape, an accusation can be a thousand times worse, so I chose that.
/r/MensRights10/04/22 12:10 AM

I think it's funny how FDS ladies always think that the guys they ghost are heartbroken and shattered about it. Women shit-test men and we test them. He tested and SHE failed.
/r/MensRights03/04/22 07:31 PM

let's not forget a crotch shot is BOTH assault and sexual assault, even if I'm making a minor point its good to remember
/r/MensRights27/02/22 10:39 PM

This is actually one of the better videos on this I've seen, it's more relatable where many others are too clinical. Having CPTSD myself, yeah it sucks EVERYTHING is a struggle often.
/r/MensRights05/12/21 04:12 AM
9

I was going to complete this, saw an important ERROR in your survey. Some questions have a choice meant to be "slightly disagree" but instead have a second "slightly agree" That's going to ruin your data.
/r/MensRights12/10/21 08:38 PM
15

I would say that "abuse" might be stretching it, for sure I'd say "indecent exposure" type stuff and perhaps a "harassment" line too.
/r/MensRights06/10/21 09:47 PM
3

I just meant that not all parents or kids are into that kind of stuff. Subsequently the way that comment was worded is maybe insulting, as if that is the only way for dad to be. It's less about WHAT you do and more HOW and that you are PRESENT.
/r/MensRights25/09/21 02:40 AM
12

I dunno, kinda feel that is a bit insulting to many dads.
/r/MensRights24/09/21 07:41 PM

Meanwhile... In a world without women.. 2 days go by while men wondering why it's so quiet. They shrugged and life went on till the last.
/r/MensRights05/06/21 10:42 PM

That post is so stupid, majority is not really gender based but laying out as if it is. See let me try, what is BLM gonna do to support minority (non big 3) religion, we need to make school practice zoroastrianism and ancient olmec! See how dumb that is, those are not black people or racial problems.
/r/MensRights23/05/21 05:51 PM

If you follow the rabbit hole you will find that EVERYTHING they say is an excuse, even religion. It is and has always been about money and control nothing more.
/r/MensRights13/05/21 05:16 AM

yet at the same time that is all feminist women see themselves capable of being, the self hating is strong

/r/MensRights01/05/21 02:05 AM

Not to hijack but interesting you brought this up. I was recently thinking about an older movie called "The Ref" and how it shows some of the issues we have in modern times with men vs. women and men's rights vs. feminism.
/r/MensRights20/04/21 09:41 PM
3

👎that about sums it up. My stuff is still off the rails in all the ways. Now in addition I've recently found out that all that is left of my friends and family all have covid badly. Just waiting to find out that yet again I'm somehow the last one standing. I'm gonna be one of those guys whose dead body is found 10 years later that nobody ever noticed disappeared and died, mark my words. Wow, woohoo so much joy here.
/r/MensRights19/04/21 08:03 PM

I would like to refute these claims. I don't know what false information you are using you lying liars! /jk obviously
/r/MensRights19/04/21 05:10 AM

It's not just suicide that happens. There are those that go on to be the mass shooters, killers and other crimes from this too. Then the public keeps asking questions and ignoring the truth in whacked circular thinking that keeps making it worse.
/r/MensRights15/04/21 04:38 AM

One commenter said that it was from a '90's fbi crime stat report
/r/MensRights15/04/21 03:59 AM

You could also perhaps use "androphobic" depending on stuff
/r/MensRights14/04/21 05:39 AM

Dumb and ridiculous dark alley scene. Going into that is your own dumbass fault, why'd you go into that situation instead of the extra 5 or 10 minutes to walk around properly and be a bit safer.
/r/MensRights13/04/21 01:17 AM

Is she saying she wants women to be treated like everyone else is Dahmer consider what we do to bunnies is about the same as he did? I think that is the guy, correct me if I'm wrong. edit I'm thinking of Bundy mostly
/r/MensRights08/04/21 03:06 AM

So let's talk this out. It is a constitutional right to sex despite age or gender or consent? Are you sure you that's the direction to go? Man, if rape culture was actually real we would have just hit the lottery.
/r/MensRights28/03/21 06:54 PM
2

yup that's bodymore alright, half trash half crackhead and half crazy
/r/MensRights25/03/21 01:52 AM
3

I will back up what others have said. As a rape victim myself, it is the trauma mixed with misunderstanding a lot of the investigation primarily. Then you have the occasional scumbag lawyer trying to defend the accused. This of course also has to mention honest misreading the events and outright false claims by the accuser. Then they like to think anything other than instant doom for the accused is victim blaming and shaming. Now as a man, I WAS blamed, shamed and laughed at. Most are women who …

look up narcissistic personality disorder and you'll know why, we're in trouble if we can't make them get help

I'm gonna be the jerk guy and go with, "what you want all that unpaid labor and emotional labor and NOT pay the poor man!!! You monstrous bitch cow, how dare you!!!! KILL ALL WOMEN" - see how that works feminists

Why would it be offensive or mocking? It's a legitimate style of clothing with people saying it's kinda cool and maybe wanna try it. Also people wanted diversity, that comes with assimilation and integration, can't have one without the other, so let them whine.

Well it is not a direct comparison but we can wear kilts. We can repurpose other attire say biker wear or take inspiration from female type styles. NOT saying it would be easy or popular but it could be something if enough people tried AND got brave enough to step outside tradition.

This seemed rather biased, as in "what type of feminist are you or are you A RaCiSt JeRk" Somewhat leading questions, limited and biased results too

This is a good reminder why the trend of many or big bathroom and/or tub windows is a stupid idea. And she can have him charged for that too, because stupid indecent exposure type laws. Just saying.

On one hand I think you are right in principle. However, I have heard but cannot confirm, that testosterone is only safe and only truly works when it is an injection. If true that is probably why. The medical industry is touchy about a lot of stuff like that, so perhaps it is some sort of technicality thing like I mentioned.

That is true. However, it today's society, it this happened to the ladies room in a male dominated office, heads would roll. We should remember that.

See, this just goes to show that feminists still do not understand men even one iota.

Cops can be the worst for this. This is the reason I never reported. About a week or so after the incident, had a bit of a public freakout, went to make my way to leave. Around the corner came 4 off duty swat looking guys, complete with masks. They stop me, I explain and apologize, say don't worry I'm leaving. They wouldn't let me, just kept making me retell the tale louder and louder, in more and more excruciating detail. They weren't taking notes or anything, just standing with arms crossed or…

There is also an element of higher chance of success, when men are suicidal, we aren't fucking around.

I think it starts a tad bit earlier than that, but sounds right to me

Yup, I hear you. Men have these issues too. Throw PTSD into the mix and it makes everything so much harder, especially things that are specific issues for you related to your PTSD. I wear a medical alert bracelet for my PTSD, because for some reason, it just helps me feel a bit more able or in control, more calm and peace of mind. I have a type called Complex PTSD and living with it, I just don't have the words. I hope it gets better for you. Remember June 27 is PTSD Awareness Day.

And if you ever do try to express yourself, people are like "who cares you EVIL MYSOGINIST MAN whiner, go fuck off and die" Other than suicide and shutting down your expression this also leads to many different possible mental disorders including those that actually do make you unable to feel or express emotion. Thusly, they cause the very problem they claim to care about.

Exactly, normally one does not really have anything to do with the other, only with feminism. The way they try to manipulate the narrative is ridiculous. I speak as a man who has been raped, and married sometime after, with partner fully aware of that.

Sadly this kind of thing is far more common then people think. It only ended for me when I attempted to murder one abuser. To anyone dealing with this PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP. Keep trying to get out. Tell people what is going on. Regularly. Don't let them ignore you or blow you off. If you ever see or suspect anything is happening do everything you can to help.

If your in the US, likely you cant go after the hospital/ doctor. They would say your parents had and gave legal consent in your place as a minor, so we're covered. So, you likely would have to try to find a lawyer who would help you in a case against your parents. Legally they still would have the right to consent, until that idea is challenged successfully, which is what you'll effectively need to to. I am not a lawyer or law trained, but that is how this will have to be done unless we can cha…

Exactly, companies need to enforce a single dress code that applies to everyone regardless of gender considerations. Alternatively society needs to lighten the fuck up about attire and appearance, and make more styles gender neutral so all could wear them comfortably. There is no real reason some styles only exist for one gender anymore.

I understand what you mean. For me, I would like the option, without the awkwardness and shaming, for those who are willing. Some things can be easily adapted to be gender neutral on top of that too, like why don't we really have men's skirts as an option at large by now.

Speaking as a person who was abused as a child by an NPD (specifically covert narcissism) person, you speak the truth. These people can and will make sure they are seen as the victim and you the offender. Many are unable to see or understand the pain, misery and trouble that they cause. These things can make it hard to prove, thus the world believing them and not you, the actual victim.

Late to this post, but one common thing I've noticed is that many places still subscribe to hair and jewelry double standards. Excluding reasonable safety precautions, women can wear any jewelry, makeup and hair they like. However men often are only grudgingly allowed a wedding band and must have shorter hair and be clean shaven.
