I mean i don’t find masturbation as fulfilling as sex. If you really break it down it’s probably because you release more oxytocin when intimate with another person. So yeah I think it’s physical/emotional/chemical and all of those play into eachother. I think most people prefer sex over masturbation, it’s why there are red pilled incel men who are immensely angry that they have to masterbate and don’t have that human connection with someone. A lot of them liken a lack of sex to a form trauma

Because sex feels good, especially when it’s actually sex rather than one sided masturbation. It’s just kind of a gamble every time you choose to have a one night stand. Not every man is going to objectify you, some men actually really care about having a mutually fun time. There are things you can pay attention to before hand to try and pick a good partner, but it does take time to learn what those things are Depending on past experiences, sex drive, and other cultural pressures every woman has…

Or maybe it means they just don’t want the complications of committing rape? What I see in men that objectify women is that they get consent but then once they’re in bed don’t really aim to please the woman and only focus on their own pleasure during sex, hence the orgasm gap. This is really common in one night stands, it feels like a man masturbated with your body rather than having mutually pleasurable sex.

The ONS I’ve had were with people who I felt were just there to mutually enjoy our time together regardless of what happened and were thoughtful. This means taking my yes or no at face value, communicating what they want without being pushy, listening when I communicated, and thinking about my needs. I love dancing so being a good dancer and having good chemistry while dancing is a plus. One time a man brought me a cold bottled water while I was on the dance floor. Found him later, we danced a b…

It’s the difference between seeing a woman as a woman, a whole person with desires and agency, versus seeing a woman as a warm pocket pussy

If you were providing for a woman would you give her unadulterated access to 50% of your income? Most men would not. Most men who are “providers” often dictate an allowance or what any money can be spent on. This leaves women at the mercy of their husband. Your friends that your husband happens to not like invited you out to lunch? Too bad its not in the “budget”. You need car repairs but your husband wants to control where you go? He can just choose not to pay for it keeping you at home. Maybe …

Fr every male family member of mine is sus about every other man in the world, and made sure I could hold my own bc they fear what would happen if I had to rely on a man

Why don’t you just communicate and ask the woman why she doesn’t want to have sex? If you don’t believe her or don’t agree with the reason, or have needs that aren’t being met just leave. You obviously wouldn’t have the trust necessary to build that relationship anyway. I don’t see what’s dishonest about feeling different about your relationships with different people. People are unique and so relationships are unique and move at different places. If they lie and you know they’re lying about it …

The few men who commit violence mean I have to asses the risk of violence in all of my encounters. I absolutely think everyone needs to take sexual assault against men more seriously, including other men. But notice how the links you sent me don’t mention rape or murder You also didn’t acknowledge the risk people, and especially women, take on when doing sex work
/r/MensRights01/09/22 01:26 PM

There’s NO downside to engaging in what would have been sexually risky or even deadly behavior The risk for sexual/physical assault for women with just normal dating practices is still very high. Prostitution is especially dangerous, but even more remote sex workers on OF often face harassment and stalking. Im not a sex worker but just wanted to share my perspective that hanging out with most men is not worth the risk.

I wasn’t saying women (or I) choose men who are toxic or don’t know how to be thoughtful and caring. I know my wants and needs and pick my partners accordingly. I dislike and don’t believe the narrative that women are needy, demanding, or complicated. Men on this sub and other manosphere subs complain that women want men who will drain their wallet for them and meet their every whim and desire, or that they’re to difficult to please and figure out. But I think that most women looking for a LTR j…

The difference between your 7s, 8s, and 9s is just knowledge of how to do make up, how much you spend to get your hair done and maintain it, and knowledge of how to take pictures with more flattering poses.

Having a strong female lead or simply flipping the genders on a male fantasy are not the female gaze imo. I would check out things like Birds of Prey, mama Mia, sisterhood of the traveling pants, or even the new charmed on Netflix or the sex lives of college girls. Just like the male gaze focuses heavily on interpersonal relationships between men (which is why most movies fail the bechdel test) the female gaze will focus more on interpersonal relationships between women. It will also typically h…

Before I was 21 this was absolutely the case for me. I don’t think I knew when I felt any attraction but if my friends hyped a boy up we would all get interested or if someone was nice to me and I enjoyed them we hung out and it sometimes led to more things. I think it’s because I never had an example of women in my life desiring something and pursuing it, they all chose partners because they were hard working and had a shared culture. In my mom’s/grandmas/aunts’ perspective that was really the …

Why would women care what you think their tastes in men are? Why would we care that you think there’s someone out there for everyone?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/22 12:55 AM

Sure, attraction is a natural thing and ignoring who you’re attracted to will make you unhappy. It seems to me a lot of RP men say they were one way but then their eyes were opened and after years of studying game and applying it they got the results they wanted. Anything you have to learn and study to perform isn’t natural, that’s not their true nature.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/22 12:21 AM

Isn’t that the point of RP? “Stop worrying about women and falling into oneitis? Focus on yourself” it’s telling men to stop acting how they naturally act and follow all of these other guidelines in order to be successful at getting women. Being human beings, we subvert our “nature”/biology every day. Why not do it in a way that’s more beneficial for yourselves Edit: I have more to argue about. Women for decades did give control to men, and when men started abusing their power (beating/raping th…

I appreciate this perspective. If we’re going to think about relationships economically men should recognize that they also have a commodity/currency that they control

This is the point of view that I think would have shocked me like 5 years ago. Is there really no value to interacting with women outside of sex or getting what you want? Is this true for most men? Why is your time wasted if you don’t get exactly what you want as long as you had a good time?

These are concepts I see be RP subs and people in this sub. AWATS, she’s a slut that’s probably lying to you about her attraction to you, if you’re a less attractive man and she doesn’t have sex with you in the first 3 dates she’s using you for your wallet ect. Those men wanted to make sure they wouldn’t have to wait to have sex with me by seeing how attractive my other “options” were. Movements are made up of the people who claim them 🤷🏽‍♀️

/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/22 05:24 AM

I don’t see women as particularly group minded, especially when it comes to ideas surrounding dating. I think there are much fewer unifying dating strategies and praxologies for women. The fact that this sub is dominated by male RP ideology, and similar female RP/BP subs are much smaller speaks to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/22 05:20 AM

Im saying a man has control over himself, didn’t think that was a controversial statement. I’m honestly surprised that 90% of “successful” men are actually successful. I think it speaks to the fact that men have something that women desire despite their best interests. It sounds like RP people speak more in terms of economics so maybe this will make more sense. The RP idea is that women have/are the commodity that is in demand by men. Because the demand is so high, women are more highly valued a…

How do men who make up roughly 50% of the people participating in the system not have an influence over the system? You yourself have a post about how men can “level the playing field” ie change the reality of dating. This is ironically very feminine imo, not realizing the amount of control you have over yourself and your actions and how those can impact your reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/22 04:05 AM

I understand the horror of dating on all sides but I do think there’s a way to have boundaries and protect yourself while still being open to genuine people

I would consider any group/movement in that claims to know “the truth” an ideology. Men are 1/2 of heterosexual dating. How you choose to act largely influences the truth of what dating actually is. It’s easy to always be right when you’re constantly reinforcing your beliefs through your actions.

I’ve had similar experiences. Got COVID and had to reschedule a date for at least 10 days out and the guy got outraged and started grilling me to see if I was lying and eventually called me a stuck up bitch who was missing out. On a few other first dates I’ve had men ask me how they stacked up to all of the other men I’ve been dating (even if I wasn’t dating anyone else) and if I was going to waste their time because they were less attractive (they weren’t until that point). Long story short, it…

Why is it necessary to view women as your opponent? I view relationships, and even casual sex, as partnerships or at the very least a group effort towards a similar goal. Thinking about turning dating into a game that’s meant to be played seems counter productive

Attraction is so nuanced and multifaceted. Even if you think of conventional physical attractiveness, there are quite a few body types and characteristics that qualify. In any group of friends I’ve had, no one ever thought the same type of people were attractive. Someone’s dream wasn’t even a blip on someone else’s radar. Add in emotional and spiritual connections and there’s just no way I can imagine myself saying “This is my league and these are the people that are in it, and those are my only…
