The same thing is happening to r/antiwoke. There have been more political posts about democrats then there are about crazy Karens now days.

They often mock her by calling her insane or stupid (especially around the green new deal was first introduced) which the equivalent for men would be called stupid or angry all the time. Fox news had a field day on that one for years.

Is it wrong, yes. Did she fired the first shot, no. Do Fox News and Republicans poke fun at AOC on a daily basis, yes.

What are some questions you use or how do you go about conversations?

Thank you, this is helpful. Mind giving me an example to compare?

This is very helpful! Thank you! You dissecting the conversation perfectly and listed things I haven’t considered. Especially the soft close part! Summary: - Sounds like missed my shot. - Keep messages short, less is more, - no double questions - if she keeps the answer short then she’s not interested in the topic, - don’t be afraid to not ask a follow-up question, - be playful and joking - soft close with “maybe” - relate things back to food or a place for a future date - make them prove that t…

Very helpful! I’ll have to take a closer look when I have more time.

Can you provide an example? Easier to compare. I feel like I do it after 10 messages with a long wait time.

Example: Me: What was the last new thing you’ve done? Her: Went to the US open! Hbu! Me: Ah! That’s exciting! How was it? I was debating about going. Took my dad to a pirate game as a Father’s Day gift so it was my first time paying for him. Her: That’s a great way to spend the weekend! How are you surviving this heat? Me: It’s definitely rough this week but thankfully my apartment’s pool is helping me stay cool! Hbu, surviving the heat as well? And what’s your favorite thing to do in the summer…

Currently I feel good about myself, but I could improve further. I’m not depressed or give off any negativity of self loathing

And how would you follow up and continue the conversation? I have an issue around keeping them interested. I feel like 1 to 1 question and response is where I fail. I try to ask follow up questions but that’s where it falls flat

Im Alright. I can do better, im not at 100% yet. Started taking dating seriously 2 years ago. I lost 50 lbs. Still have a way to go. I am social when I’m in the mood. But the confidence can take a hit here and there, but just got to adapt and learn.

This is just locker room talk with the genders reversed. I believe society looks down on locker room talk now days. This is a double standard

In a relationship you are supposed to build each other up. But it is also a youth thing where you a trying to explore the path that is your calling. After college, I was making 12/hr and I was lost in terms that I wanted to do, I gave up on job hunting and escaped to videogames. It was my parents and family that snapped me out of my rut

That’s incorrect. Your immune system eventually suppresses it 90% of the time within 2 years. The remaining 10% go onto trying to suppress for 10-20 years. There is a 1% chance of getting cancer from it. Most often cervical or throat cancer. I’m strictly talking about the high risk type. The vaccine covers only 9/200 different strains. There is a vaccine covers the most common and dangerous strains. It’s important to note the vaccine is only effective before you catch that strain. There is curre…

What people would write down would be what they think society would accept. It’s like conscious vs unconscious mind. Many women want men to be taller than them but no where did they say that in your example. The same logic applies to political beliefs.

I recently changed my mind about this bc STDs and STIs exist. We can’t test for all of them and many have no cures like HPV. And everyone gets HPV at least once in their lifetime. If we restricted people during covid to stop covid from spreading doesn’t the same logic applies here?

You do an activity date like bowling or top golf. Can’t look at your phone if you are busy
