I opted out by leaving the country. I have been teaching in Asia; took a hiatus to work on a PhD, and now I am back in Asia teaching. Life is much, much better than it would be back home. American women are awful, but there are some really nice ones in other parts of the world. My advice to anyone considering a full-fledge opt-out is to get out of the United States. There are lots of cool places on earth with much lower taxes.

One of the biggest problems with MRM is that there is little academic work in peer-reviewed journals to point to in order to support the movement's ideas. One reason for that is because it is difficult to find reliable evidence. The reason there is no reliable evidence is because no one is bothering to collect and document it. What can be collected and documented can be quantified.

Basically, women won't put out unless you buy them a house first. It's just the culture. As the chart shows, this phenomena is clearly driving up the price of real estate in China. Have Chinese men learned the fine art of opting-out, yet? I guess there will become opt-out provinces in which the real estate prices are more reasonable, but there won't be very many women in these regions. There will probably be less pollution, though, since men who opt-out typically have a lower carbon footprint.

I have long been concerned that women have encouraged our government to curtail civil rights because many people perceive that it favors women to do so. Because women voters outnumber men, it is a gender issue by default. In my experience, when women ask men to "open up" and be vulnerable, they are often requesting that they be allowed to dominate. Women don't like cry baby men, unless it gives them an opportunity to readjust the power paradigm in a manner that is favorable to them. I don't think you can discount the different styles. Feminists usually work by trying to isolate and silence people that say things they don't like. It is egalitarian in structure. At my school, it was kind of weird because even the 'Take Back The Night'ers' knew that this person was not playing with a full deck. Also, the college's administration knew it was a false charge, but it embarassed them to admit it.
