As a young waitress(almost ten years ago) at a higher end restaurant, I would assume tables were father/daughter only to realize after a few cocktails it was more of a sugar daddy/baby situation. That is a heartbreaking story. I'm sorry for your loss, but thank you for sharing. I can't believe people are so ingrained in using women as commodities that they would shame a widow for not remarrying. It sounds like this guy and whoever shamed you are of the same mind that marriage/a relationship is a sale of goods. The thought of an independent woman shakes their knees.

This sounds like the Kristen Smart case. I listened to the podcast "Your Own Backyard" where evidence strongly correlates a scrote with a woman's murder and he gets away with it by just not talking to police. The parents literally helped hide her body. As a mom of two boys, I can't fathom helping my obviously diseased son cover up a murder. Sickening.

When his mother stood up in court and "forgave him" for murdering her grandchildren and another family's daughter I was physically ill. I still can't find vile enough words to describe that man.
