If the kids are going n a safe environment man just do you. Read the room a little bit, how’s everybody with each other? Seems good? If so my man you got to ask yourself if this is what you want. Scary after divorce no doubt, but nothing ventured nothing gained. Trust your gut, talk to your children.

I don’t think so. I was long over my ex when I finally left her. Now bc of this she has drug out my divorce for 5 years now. In that time I have had 2 significant relationships and one was even more impactful then my past marriage.

My ex and I split up during her 3rd pregnancy together… she cheated on me after our 2nd child. In pure psychopath fashion just treated me like shit until I left. There’s a difference between hormonal and being a cunt. I lived 2 pregnancy’s with her so I knew the difference. Do you? Dna test on the 3rd was mine but there was a reason for her mood shift

Same! my ex isolated me even from my family. Cheated on me then took me for everything through alimony. I had nothing but a hockey bag full of clothes to restart my life with my 3 children. its been a hard 5 years. I've dated and its been good but really good! there's a lot of amazing women out there!

I’m thinking about just forcing it to court and hopefully I get the 30k to pay for it. At least it will be resolved

5 years in and about 50k down in my situation too. Still not divorced. It’s such a waste but that’s what vindictive women are, a waste.

Can’t say I was ever in this position. I was in a position tho, and I never talked and it got worse. If your posting in here it’s pretty serious. Talk to your wife about it, maybe she will change and maybe she won’t but if you don’t talk to her or give her the benefit of a doubt then your going to be jumping the gun. She feels bad but she needs to be aware of how your feeling. I didn’t have open communication, even if it would have sucked. I regret it, my ex is an ice queen who deserves nothing …

Your not divorced yet. Seems shitty that she’s throwing the big D into your fights. Your at the exact point in time that I wish I could re live. In my case the outcome would be the same but for you… this is the perfect time to start being unusual. Start going out with friends, stop living yourself for her. Literally just do you and laugh along the way. If she wants a reason to bring up getting a divorce make it worth your while. Don’t figure out anything, just have a blast. She’s tied to you too…

Thanks for the advice. I’ve been doing all of this already. I’ve already made a solid affidavit for special chambers court. It’s pretty solid. Lots of text messages. To further complicate things. After she had told me that she would either buy me out or sell our house, big surprise, had gone back on that word. She wants me to settle with 1 extra day with the 2 kids as a final agreement. I obviously declined and now taking her to court. Now she’s making me sign another year of my mortgage because…

I live in Canada. I’ve always worked out of town even before I met her. I’m home for half of every month, I constantly ask to see them more but she just simply won’t let me have them more then my 4 days a month. It’s not by my choice. I live in the same city as her, I just fly out for 14 days until I come back for 14. My lawyer team is good, I feel like We have a strong case. I’m still terrified.
