I’m confused. It says both parties are female. Is that a typo or is this an actual woman wanting these things?!

I also think they like doing this in public so we feel obligated to accept them back or what have you. It’s a tactic to pressure and potentially humiliate us so we look like the bad guy.

He told me it was my fault he couldn’t please me and I was an anomaly and strange cause he pleased every other woman he slept with 🙄.

They fail to realize that even if that is true, it is the MAJORITY. And let’s be real, women get hurt and taken advantage of usually multiple times by multiple different men! These HVMs that aren’t like this are the exception, not the rule. So yeah, I am going to generalize their entire sex until that flips.

True! I forgot about Smith. He also wanted to commit when she didn’t.

I also am on Nextdoor but lucky for me I am paranoid as hell, so I used a fake name and no picture lol. I would be careful since he is in your neighborhood and it could be very easy to track you down if he wanted to.

Aiden was probably the only decent guy on there tbh.

I think it is a way to make women feel like shit so they engage in a conversation with them. Like telling him off for insulting you, but they use that as a way to make your self esteem low so they can eventually get you to go out with them cause they know they aren’t shit.

Omg right?! I know this is only hormones but it’s like damn, get it together girl! I have been trying to work out and keep myself busy but there is only so much I can do in a day to distract myself.

My ex was most definitely a covert narc and I was in a “situationship” for 9yrs with him. We broke up like a day before covid happened and all of the sudden I was living alone during a pandemic while also going through a terrible break up. I felt all of the things you are feeling. My biggest recommendation would be to get a therapist if you can, but I know that isn’t always an option for everyone. I would also HIGHLY recommend watching Dr. Ramani on YouTube! She specializes in NPD (narcissistic …

I like how they equate loving ourselves = hating men. Just goes to show they have no respect for us. But I did cackle at her reply.

I mean when you think about it a lot of our past experiences with men (especially throughout or developmental years) attribute to our need for their validation later. It doesn’t necessarily mean you have BPD. I am an open recovering pickmeisha and know my need for male validation came from the fact that my dad was in and out of my life growing up until I was in my early 20s. I also had negative experiences with men overall, got made fun of for my appearance, constantly rejected, and didn’t get a…

I was also going to mention Rebecca from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend but I was torn because in the show she is diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. My best friend from childhood has it and exhibits the same issues with needing male validation and the need for it to feel worthy because of previous abuse and abandonment. I think many people with BPD have “pickmeisha” tendencies. How do you draw the line between a mental disorder and just desperation and low self worth? Idk. If anything I think …

It sounds like he doesn’t actually really understand FDS and his message just proves that. Sounds like he was just trying to get praise and validation from you. So gross.

I will echo what a lot of others said here and really emphasize you take the time to explore yourself and don’t feel stressed or pressured to have an orgasm while you do so. If you overthink and start to get upset it will hinder your progress to orgasm. I would recommend starting with your clit because that is how a majority of women get off. I don’t necessarily agree that a man should automatically know how to get you off because not all women are the same and what makes one woman finish may no…

Dr. Ramani also did an interesting YouTube video about this type of obsession. While she is focused on those in relationships with narcissists I fully believe it is applicable in general.

This recently happened to me. I am a white female and he is a Latino (Colombian) male and he said he was interested in me but he could never be serious with a white woman because we are all entitled. He had this fantasy of marrying a Middle Eastern Muslim woman because they are loyal and will “do what the man says no matter what”. I wanted to simultaneously punch him and throw up. So toxic it’s disgusting!

To add onto this, I wrote a thesis about pay secrecy for my Master’s and in a lot of states it is actually illegal for a company to tell you not to talk about pay with your colleagues or fire you for it. As Seraphine said, if you live in an at will state they can just fire you anyway for no reason at all.

In addition to what others said on here I also want to point out that he is insinuating that starting a movie with his sister is more exciting than calling you. Since apparently he “forgot” in all of the “excitement”. Next.

To me this sounds like more than a boundary issue but also unprofessional and inappropriate. To be honest I am surprised he has your personal cell number. I try to keep my work and private life separate so I don’t ever give out my personal cell to co-workers. Can you block his number?

I am concerned that you were drinking on the balcony and then you blacked out. Were you actually drinking enough to black out?? I ask because when I read this it almost sounded like something was slipped into your drink. And as another commenter said, no hvm would sleep with you blacked out!!

What caught my attention about your post was your comment that he “worked himself up to loving your beauty”. Girl you are a dime piece, period. No man should be “working his way” up to appreciating that. If he couldn’t see it initially that is on him not you. It sounds like you may be questioning your own worth and second guess your value. Don’t.

Ugh I hate when men do this. They think it’s a compliment, at least to their ego like “oh look at me, I like women who aren’t skinny so that means I am HV”. No! No man should be telling any woman what to do with her body! And congratulations on the weight loss!! I still have about 35 more pounds until I hit my goal.

I was going to say that I am usually the type to tell people off, but you are totally right about wasting my energy on them. It would probably be pointless anyway.

That’s amazing!! I have been trying to level up in general even when I was in my relationship. I have two degrees, a well paying job and recently bought my own home. However I think I could be doing more for myself in terms of hobbies like you do. I am a very introverted person and I don’t go out much.
