It's a mental illness not a personality disorder, you are thinking of borderline personality disorder (which 99% of this sub confuses with bipolar). Bipolar (manic depression) is an incurable hereditary disorder that causes extreme shifts from depression to intense highs (mania). I'd be careful with the bad trip advice. It can range from a negative/painful experience to horribly traumatizing. Saw a buddy almost enter psychosis due to having such a bad trip. Yes I've had several people try and rope me into the whole "I have the idea, you have the skills. They are in a way, interchangeable. A lot of the characteristics are the same. Except for example, the low self-esteem, lack of fear, etc. Psychopaths usually are quite sure of themselves internally and externally. If a person scored high on both NPD and ASPD, then the portrayal of the NPD traits would be quite hard to mask as they are an ingrained, learned, subconscious set of characteristics. I can chime in a bit on this, mom was an emotionally neglectful and abusive narcissist, dad was a weak enabler who let her get away with abusing his children. Fucks you up pretty bad, not saying that is what happened to the OP (or you), but I related to his story 100% and that is what happened to me. And maybe you can relate to it. I developed C-PTSD because of it, takes time but therapy does help.

Also in my experience not everything on LSD is a true revelation, analyze the things you see when on LSD and try to take in all other possible factors as to why something was perceived the way it is. I'd say most things are very helpful but don't take them as absolute truths.
