I don"t like that expression myself either, but I can understand the thinking behind it because I"ve been hurt too. I can"t be responsible for other people"s morality standards. I can only take responsible for the way I handle things and let others handle theirs their way. I don"t consider myself alpha at all. I had a bad feeling about her since we slept together, so I never wanted her to be my gf. It's funny though that even though she is considered very hot, I don't find her that attractive. I break contact with her and the others too just as I mentioned in my previous comment. I am glad this subreddit is more about self-inprovement (except for the extremes). It is going to take a long time for me to digest the information here though and I also have a lot of insecurities, but time is on my side.

Right now I am emotionally tired of women, I made a mistake of investing too much too fast in another one. I am lucky I have a guy friend I can talk to. In the future I would like to do my relationships without scheming or hurting other people, even if it is considered "beta". Thank you guys for the reply though, you've been a great help
