I feel like there's this animosity towards us 30 plus single women I've often thought that the discontinuation of special treatment gets interpreted as animosity. "No one's giving me free stuff anymore. Why does everyone hate me?" Listening to women talk about 'mistreatment,' I'll often think to myself, "oh, you're being treated fairly, like no one owes you anything." I don't think the behavior is at all unique to women. I guess it's all relative.
