When will incels understand that they are involuntarily celibate because they refuse to level up (like women do when we want to improve our lives)? Of course the woman prefers the company of the dog, the dog has better social skills than the incel. But does the incel ever think, "hmmm, maybe if I work on my social skills, I can get a girlfriend 🤔?" Yes! This is so true. I share with my husband (a boomer) what I'm learning here and he can't believe it's real---that these LVM exist. The internet has given LVM a place to congregate. Thank God there's FDS for women! I have made sure my daughter knows that she can live a perfectly happy, fulfilling life without a spouse. If she meets the right person and wants to have a partner, that's great too. She is in control of her happiness and THAT'S power.

In my 20's, I actually thought he was right....that being younger and prettier gave a woman an advantage with men. Now that I'm in my late 40's, I know that the only men who value youth and beauty above all else are LVM.

Thank you again, I've been looking into marriage around the globe and I'm learning. I see how marriage in the US can make child rearing less stressful as opposed to other countries where there is more support from entities other than a spouse. I wonder what things will look like 100 years from now.

Thank you, I am going to Google your suggestions and learn. I guess with my cultural bias and what I see in the media, I assumed single and divorced parenthood is difficult. Even with my gay and lesbian friends, they wanted to get married so they could raise a family. But perhaps that is just the few people I've known. I've also assumed that getting married made it more difficult for a spouse to financially and legally desert their children. I'm going to go read and educate myself, thank you!

This is something that has been really bothering me. I see so much passion in the Black Lives Matter movement which is good and I hope change happens. How do we create that much passion for the ethical treatment of women, especially women of color? I want this many protests against porn, sex trafficking, violence against women, the list goes on.

I think you may be misinterpreting FDS. Men and women are equal but we are not the same. We are complimentary. The usual goal for women in FDS is marriage or a longterm relationship. This is why the #1 thing to look for in a man is empathy. Can he truly feel empathy? Helps weed out all sorts of personality disorders. Does he feel compassion? How does he treat those less fortunate than him? How does he act when no one is looking?

I think there's a spectrum of LVM and even HVM aren't 100 % perfect. The FDS handbook here has the best info that I've seen.

Thank you. I look at the vast amount of LVM around and I wonder if family of origin or lack of rolemodels has anything to do with it? Had i not had a son, I'd probably feel very negatively toward men in general these days. As mothers, women have so much power and influence over the future of men in society. We need to raise our sons to be respectful toward women (and all people), to view people as humans and not objects, to be empathetic, hard working, loyal, caring...HVM.
