1	Why is there such a disconnect between the perception of marriage and the reality of it? Especially among women? It's not that they don't care about anyone but themselves, it's that they truly don't see it. They are oblivious to other people's problems. My childhood was made miserable by an abusive mother who, of course, totally got away with it because "women don't abuse".
