The survey data is sketchy at best. "19% of men say they wish their partners were more enthusiastic for/during sex" Maybe if u were actually pleasuring her to shed be showing you more "desire"? This article is complete nonsense. What men and how many answered the survey? Tf haha.

I have a therapist, a psychiatrist, and a case worker who all actually helped me realize this was a long time coming. They helped me kick him out in the first place. I can't thank them enough, and I can't thank you all enough for being so kind through this!

Amazing how views on caring about the quality of life for women break us up from stupid partners. Good riddance! Thank you so much this means so much to me, hope you having a great life too!

He means use mind games on vulnerable women to make them think they are winning something. Its unfair to the unsuspecting, who don't fully understand. It isn't sexy or smooth at all. I wish they would teach all young women these creep tactics so we can learn to avoid them all together growing up. Along with maybe teaching men not to act like bonobo apes.

Yeah I noticed that to. There doesn't seem to be much of a win for them except managing to trick a woman into having sex with them. Which I guess in the end is all they seem to be working towards 😕

OOF, the trying to "make yourself a prize and get assertive women to jump through hoops" and "tell her you only buy drinks for girls who you have made out with" made me shiver. And the entire thing not once does HE type out women. All 10 screenshots are girls girls girls. Not one "woman" . If thats not creepy idk what is.

Even if it did make me conservative, I don't care. I am conserving my body for when I want to share it, so whatever lol. Though I get what you're saying, the way they framed it didn't fully explain the reasons. Sexual health, safety, trauma. We are trying to be careful.

Oh thats naaaasty >:( HES ALMOST 40!!! I've never been badgered for this, at least not yet. It sucks that we are raised to hate getting older and men are told they get better looking.

Yeah every queen please be careful because it draws so much scrote attention to this sub when brigades happen augh. I don't want this sub shut down, plz :(

Also, no sexual harassment in the workplace or unwanted touching from home. Well, better than what happens on the floor in a workplace with men.

Yes I second this OP. the fds handbook is really interesting to read and gives lots of great tips and how to see what you didn't see before in male behavior towards women.

:) AND WOW THAT PICTURE! they look so different. I'm not about the whole homophobia they spew tbh is why I don't like it. Ill admit I really find the mountain man look endearing sometimes especially if they are red head, super cute in theory IMO. But they are almost never clean. I can't stand it. And thank you! I'm working to be a tattoo artist! They need more women to do it for women who want tattoos so we don't have potential creeps working on us and we have the option of a woman doing the art…

Yes it does. Duck commander i love you lol and I hate that show duck dynasty, they are gross. I like to draw people and cartoons with pencils and painting landscapes, as well as flash art and tattoo style stuff. I don't have any art on my reddit account thats note worthy though, just a gel pen drawing. :)

Ooh that does look nice! All the beards grow so differently, it really just depends all on the grooming. If they have nice beard going on I usually don't mind , it all depends on so many factors. When making art, it always helps me make the character look older giving them beards. Stubbled unkempt mustache poking my face though hurts so badly , I remember it happening like twice when I was a dumb teenager. I had to say no more you are literally poking each of my pores with the nails on your lip.

Or they hide badly taken care of skin and sometimes even helps hide teeth. Its easy to steer clear from most of them, usually because the beard is also disgusting lmao.

Its gotten more and more difficult as I get older to get through an episode of family guy or American dad. Some of its funny, some of it is garbage, awful insensitive not very funny jokes. Its more like what they believe to be true, but disguised as stupid jokes.

Same, im learning a lot from these lovely ladies and they help me value myself more everyday. I was so blind before. I feel so much better now knowing that the misogyny around me IS wrong and inexcusable . I don't have to just take it.

Lmao, I bet thats the main difference when asking men and women what they remember being the worst experience was with the opposite sex. That last sentence had me dying.

I have explained this in a comment on another sub and I wasn't downvoted to hell. I was upvoted! I said if you want to critisize, that's your choice but do it right because the women on that sub are definitely not in cels. Its more like the opposite. We want them (scrotes) to leave us TF alone. Any comment I see in the wild thats positive talking about fds i upvote. And many replies are women saying, "yeah, that sub was painted weird for me until I went there. " The men can't have us conspiring …

That happened to me between 14-20 with a much older now ex bf. He was 5 years older when I met him. I didn't understand anything. Id get upset when I'd find porn, id feel constant pressure to live up to what he watched... id let him choke me or pull my hair. I know that goes beyond anything since its being a pedo on his part, but I didn't completely see that until I got older. It sucks that i was so young and taken advantage of. Ill never let it be like that again, and FDS has helped immensely i…

My first job was at a movie theater and a guy who also worked there (I was 16, he was 17) was a foot taller and 100 pounds more than I was, backed me into a wall with his whole body and considered it a "hug". I got scared, and he laughed at me. That was 10 years ago, I'd never let a boy get that close to me again without permission. If I knew what I knew now...so frustrating that there is so many times where I could have reasonably shoved someone away from me.

Oh my god, I know. OITNB had so many issues, that being the main one. Then to solve it, that thing at the end happens to the victim. (Idk how to hide spoilers, but it was so annoying)

Yes they constantly talk about misogyny in it, and "why do you assume the doctors a man" immediately. But not consent? They could at least be consistent. I love the daughter, shes badASS and that dumbass neighbor kid has a lot of growing up to do. She smacks a boy with a tray for being an asshole to women. That kiss was excused because they paint him as "a nerdy nice boy" its bullshit

That sounds like the plot to at least half of all existing movies. Why is everyone so stuck on fighting for someone. I watched nip tuck back in the day and OH MY GOODNESS. I'm older and read about all the awful shit that went on in that show o.o

I can't get through a show anymore without it normalizing pickme behavior, somewhere or another. Good Girls? Great show. Some shit behavior though. Santa Clarita Diet is really good for those horror comedy fans out there, but oh my god the daughter is so young and doesn't recognize the shit behavior from her guy friend neighbor. In reality, teens are learning, but I'm honestly upset she didn't get more angry about the kiss he does with NO CONSENT. So frustrating!!!

I like this cover of the song 100% better. Her music can be very pickme . Its hard hearing a lot of songs now that I have this subreddit. Its all very impressionable on young women, we should have songs singing about independence. Not depending on a man. :[

Yes exactly, people come here and comment without knowing the whole movement. I messed up at the beginning when I first read this sub a year ago. I read the rule book and the rules about dating and learned a lot. I've made adjustments to myself and it has reflected in comments. If we wanna be here newbies, we got to read the handbook and rules they sticky comment in every post with links! Its super helpful on top of helping you when you post here ! :)

"You're just trying to start drama" made me shudder, I remember being told that when I was trying to talk to someone about what he thought. Another boy (I was a teen in HS) had used both his hands to hit my ass so hard i fell over and cried in pain, and humiliation. I asked a guy friend later if the kid had ever done that to any other woman before me and he told me I was trying to "start drama". Cue being traumatized to be quiet about any situation i was put in like that until I got into my twen…

And somehow we are femcels or incels, even though the point is that to many men so way to much interest in all of us and a lot of us want to be left alone. From what I gathered in incel subs, they have no one giving them any interest and they feel entitled to it. Its the opposite here. We want to be left alone unless you show us some fucking high quality stuff. Guys WONT leave us alone. They have no woman chasing after them and being creepy on a daily basis problem. I'm not involuntary celibate,…

Thank you sis for saying a little note to the male lurkers about calling out cultural misogyny is HV trait. Very important they start holding each other accountable. Its another move in the right direction!!!!

My guy acquaintance from teenhood said something like, the woman he was with last night was his white Buffalo. I'm like. What. So you dumped your emotional load on her, slept with her, and your not even trying to call her your gf. I know her and I feel bad. My guy friend (was my brother in law, now I never see him because,, well ex husband etc.) has always been an ass about women. White Buffalo sounds like another term for emotional dumpster. I hope she will be okay.

Girl, eff that. All religion has its misogyny, muslim stuff seems the worst. And you know women didn't even have to cover up until the 70s ? They were able to wear what they wanted and stuff. He wants a 10 year old to do the adult stuff because he's a lazy little bitch is his problem. They prop themselves so high on pedestals because they have dicks lmao, its bullshit that somehow leaves them in charge of women.

My story is very similar. My mom was with my NV dad til I was 1 and NV step-dad between the age of 4-6. Once she kicked him out, she was left with me and my two sisters from my step-dad. She got a full time job, not much experience before that. Worked and worked while we went to school and then after-school programs and girls inc and all that good stuff. She never put the load on us. When I became 9-10 she asked me to clean a portion of the house in exchange for a sleepover I wanted, which was f…

The comments on that subreddit are all the men saying how each match they get is a bitch or reply with pretty reasonable responses to the stupid shit they send and they are all like, validate me being upset over the rejection waaaaah. Dude, move on. No need to embarrass yourself further on reddit.

That first part gave me chills. make sure you conduct yourself like a sex vending machine and don't have any emotions or expectations of me." Guys said you aren't like other girls so many times to me growing up im nauseaus thinking about all the bad that could have happened. This line was used by older ones to, trying to coax me to continue to be cool and maybe let them have sex with me. Ew. I'm glad I'm old enough to understand now that when people say things like this it hurts all women.

A Child Called It was the book in high-school that really did my heart in. I can't believe the parental abuse that person suffered. I cried and cried, I still tear up knowing I can relate but not to that level. Being locked in a bathroom with a bucket of mixed cleaning products as a punishment is horrific, and cps doing the bare minimum is so terribly accurate.

It must be a higher number than this to. I lied when I had gotten pregnant about my abusers age to the nurses. It had been 5 years with him. I'm pretty sure I can't comment on fds but I want to. Its important everyone knows this percentage is probably much higher.
