You can choose to be single sis. Surround yourself by friends and pets.

Even just my one cat (who is, ironically, male) provides me more love, care, emotional labor, and happiness than any romantic relationship I’ve ever had.

The Audacity of [wave gesture] is a whole mood sis. Sometimes I feel like every time I engage with a man I’m just asking to be disappointed But seriously I’m glad to hear my post was helpful to you

Men are a cross that we choose to bear and they should remember that. Like, I’m sorry dude, I don’t deal with discrimination, misogyny, lower pay, lower legal status, the entire physical burden of bearing children, so that you can sit at home playing video games, watching porn, and being a delicate little flower. Men need to earn their keep or they will not be kept.

I’m dating a guy who’s 5’6”, I’m 5’8”. It’s not a deal breaker. He seems to be a HVM so far 🤷‍♀️

I mean this it true for me as a woman. I dumped my ex who asked me to keep grocery items “under $5” when he was buying groceries but had no problem eating lobster out of my fridge. Home is peaceful and quiet, I don’t have a hobosexual squatted on my couch, judging what I want to watch on TV, exercising his weird control issues and MRA sentiments, jacking up the thermostat and taking long hot showers everyday because he’s not paying for it, breaking things and not replacing them because he doesn’…

Right?! When a woman gets stealthed, it’s crickets and shrugs. Non-newsworthy. It’s her fault for having the poor judgment to sleep with that man. Meanwhile, everyone’s clutching their pearls and gasping for Community Dick Drake.

is this what all (eventually) successful entrepreneurs are like in the beginning No. As someone who owns one business and is launching a second, all of this after my traditional career in law, I have a great mental image of this guy, professionally speaking. Scatterbrained and halfassed planned, poor execution, lack of funds or ability to raise them, jumping ship because it's unsustainable and immediately jumping into something else. These guys are never successful. I work in real estate, and if…

What you are potentially to him, is a savings account he can draw from to purse his shaky dreams Oof I felt this in my soul. Men are absolute trash when it comes to this. The moment I knew it was over with my ex was when I mentioned being excited about our future, and his response was "and not having a mortgage" (because he knows I own my houses outright). Broke men with shaky dreams will keep the mask on indefinitely, but all you'll ever be to them is a safety net so they can continue to live c…

Lawyer here, can confirm. It's also virtually impossible to sue a doctor, practice, or medical facility unless someone dies and even then it's kind of sketchy. During my summer internship, we had a client whose leg was amputated as a direct result of a medical student fucking up his surgery and an attending failing to adequately proof their work before they closed up, and then attendings failing to adequately supervise students and residents at the same teaching hospital's clinic that the client…

This is very helpful. I struggled to dump a LVM just because he sometimes did the minimum and was generally decent. I absolutely deserve a HVM and owe it to myself to hold out for one.

Oh they know it isn’t. It never was. But it’s so easy to “other” the men who rape to meet the patriarchy’s end goal of the most dangerous men being able to continue to victimize women unhindered

Yup. I too was banned. That sub is mostly just men who encourage anti-female rhetoric and then try and brand it as feminist and empowering. Like, no bitch, you’re just gaslighting women getting screwed over to think they’re empowered. Not today, Satan.

Lol right!! Also when we had that fight, and we've had a couple this past week that he's been slipping up, he would straighten that mask and pretend to be perfect again. Gaslighting at its finest. It's so easy to question yourself and be disarmed by men's nonsense because it's so out of pocket. It's very good progress for me that I only let this go on a week instead of making excuses for months on end until I was totally miserable tho

Your tone was controlling, trying to weaponize “we” statements to shame me into submitting to your opinion (also, who is this “we”? You’re not a mod, you can’t speak for this sub). Saying “we don’t use” to an adult is also incredibly disrespectful and patronizing, aside from being manipulative. Then also trying to insinuate that I’m not a feminist because I disagree with your opinion, which is incredibly rude. Glad I could clear that up for you.

He tried to argue with me, I put on my lawyer hat and treated him like a hostile witness and gave zero fucks. Sis I just dumped him in real time. He’s sitting in my living room crying as we speak. He’s almost done with his doctorate and moved back in with his parents during the pandemic to save money since his school/work was now all remote, which a lot of my friends did and I don’t think is inherently a red flag during the pandemic at least, but maybe I’m wrong. As a lawyer, I would say she does. Typically if she’s been residing there for 30 consecutive days, she’s established residency. If she’s smart, she can go get a domestic violence restraining order on this scrote and the judge will potentially kick him out for a period of time. But it’s a hell of a lot to put children through

I mean a doctor literally told me pubic hair was unnecessary. My stepmom had this same issue with me shaving when she found out I was doing it. Is it natural? Sure. But so are my head hair (for lack of a better distinction lol) and fingernails and I cut those too. It’s nothing more than a personal choice. There’s no benefit to be gained from shaving/not shaving outside of what you personally assign value to. I’m glad you’ve decided on something that works for you and feels authentic to you, and …

I just like it The sensory output of undies on pubic hair bothers me. It’s nice to not scrape blood out of pubic hair. Do you believe that about men’s body hair? Yes. Anytime I see a sweaty, smelly man with a bunch of odor-trapping hair, I just wish he’d get rid of it. The evolutionary reason for body hair stems from a lack of good access to sanitation. My own female OB/GYN said that there’s no health benefit to pubic hair anymore in the developed world because we shower every day. I think women…

Oh goodness yes. Police officers are pretty much automatically LVM just like the military. Regardless of your political views, the statistics on domestic violence don’t lie. I used to be a free attorney for domestic violence survivors, and the cases where the respondent was a police officer were always the scariest because the other men would help the abuser “brother officer” (🤡🤡🤡🤡) cover up the abuse and discredit the woman. No justice for women under the patriarchy.

Oh absofucklutely. I would feel so badly for them if they weren’t so vitriolic and misogynistic. The barracks everywhere are full of really sad, hopeless young men with poor education and low socioeconomic status who see the military as a shiny, dazzling route out of the trailer park and a gateway to the middle class. But it’s not, and they end up trapped—too old and institutionalized to transfer successfully back into civilian life, no money, no transferable skills. Nobody else but the most dep…

I think the issue stems from militaries being historically male dominated spaces that center around toxic machismo and violence, resulting in unprocessed trauma in young men which then manifests as widespread domestic violence/violence against women and alcoholism. But that’s just my hot take.

Eh. A mixed bag. I knew some officers who I could potentially see as being HV, the common denominator being guys who had ALREADY GRADUATED COLLEGE and joined for the educational benefits to cover further education. Ah yes, I can help here. Ok, so I'm a lawyer. Of course, your mileage may vary, I'm not able to offer you any specific legal advice. But generally check reviews (Avvo is solid), check your state bar association (google for the phone number) to check if they have any sanctions, and call around talking to lawyers. You'll need a family lawyer for this type of matter. Usually, consultation on your specific case costs money ($150 is average for my VHCOL area), but you should be able to ask questions …

Even that is not acceptable. Because his wife is also working while he’s gone, providing childcare at least and likely other homemaking as well. So when the man is home, whenever the man is home, all childcare duties need to be shared.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/09/21 06:54 PM

Not to mention, it’s unsafe for the woman. I held firm to this refusal when I was pregnant and they actually called social work, a psychiatrist, and CPS on me at a hospital after I upset an old scrote OB/GYN telling him to fuck off and take his male students with him. I’m afraid what could have happened if I had been alone trying to hold that boundary. Luckily I’m an Orthodox Jew and showing my body/being touched by men who aren’t related to me is forbidden, and my LVM (now ex)husband started ca…

I’d take his laptop and sell it and come back with a thousand bottles of face wash, and after I was finished making my ridiculous show, I would take the extra face wash to a women’s shelter. Because fuck that dude.

Yeah, I wouldn’t have even called her a mistress, I would have called her a hoe and told her that I hope she wakes up one day with some self respect

I don’t even like my mother, but if I was OP, I would have stood up and roasted the fuck out of that scrote. “How could she have wasted your time if you’re already worthless?”

Not basically, actually. My ex husband was in the military and was charged with adultery for shit similar to this. Jail and dishonorable discharge—meaning no free college and no healthcare for the rest of his life.

Oh fuck I cried during that film, there’s a sequel too. I would encourage anyone interested to look into the girls after filming. Tessa left the industry, got married, and seems ok; Rachel Bernard is struggling on Twitter with things like drugs and severe pickme syndrome and it’s hard to watch. It was just really upsetting to watch teenage girls have sex with men twice their age, do stuff like anal, at one point a dildo the size of my arm, and admit that they didn’t want to. Also the scrote who …

LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK!! Our confidence in ourselves and conviction in knowing our worth and refusing to settle for less scares them.

YMMV honestly. I would consider my bf very much a HVM, he’s working on his PhD. Sure, he’ll likely make less money than me indefinitely, but he’s very very successful in his field, he more than carries his weight in emotional and domestic labor (without being asked!!), and I still feel like he takes care of me. There are scrotes in every discipline and field, that’s the worst part about it.

Literally nothing ethical about using a young woman for sex under the guise of wanting a relationship and being socially progressive
