This post is very informative. I've just killed things with some people I was renting with and I can see how this could have helped me. Trying to be *9+ Years with roommates will only get you burned. They're not for you. They make things easier for the short term if you keep them at arms length. Spending more time with such types will only bring hostility between you and them.
