No. The problem is the person i replied to said their ex got a less than honorable discharge. I stated a fact, there are 0 discharges titled 'less than honorable'. I am stating a fact that is backed by doctrine, the only failure point here is you, because you think 'OTH' = 'LTH', but that doesnt exist. Period. You either served honorably, served honorably but fucked up and did shit you shouldnt have (bad conduct), served dishonorably, or served other than honorable. Now, im a lowly 12B engineer in the army, but if my english reading skills are up to snuff, none of that says 'less than honorable'. And if lowly little army me remembers correct, thats because 'other than honorable' != 'less than honorable'. Other than honorable means you failed to live up to the standards set forth by their organization, but did not commit any deeds to warrant bad conduct or dishonorable. Youre either forgetting the actual code or he lied to you. If he was actually barred from service and kept past his EAS date its because he commited a crime. I dont care what he did, im just pointing out inconsistencies in your exes story. Its not adding up. It simply means you werent a good fit for the service in terms of conduct.
