| 1 | If you think you can just "switch on" confidence with a few thoughts, then why do sports team and military squads spend a LOT of time worried about morale & momentum?Because for seduction, the motivator is inherent and instinctual, the dangers are merely social, and the actual thing to be done isn't really very painful, relatively speaking, even if it goes badly. You can muster up courage because you want the reward so deeply, and doing the thing itself won't hurt much, and the possible dangers are pretty limited.
