Even the Christian texts identify this Proverbs 21:19 NIV Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and nagging wife. I imagine every religion probably has some form of this advice.

They experience consequences. To understand them you have to be capable of connecting behavior to outcome which 80% of people are unable to do.

You know, I used to ruminate on what would happen if a significant amount of men went mgtow. Back then I didn't see it happening because guys are just too mired into the blue pill ecosystem. I think now however that because the sexual economy is so lopsided that for every mgtow that truly gtow, about 10 incels are born. This may end up being a problem.

Not if she can show a contribution from you or her towards the mortgage. Then, she can at least lay claim to that money which gives her a "financial interest" in the home. Don't get married. If you must cohabitate make her sign a lease and pay rent.

This is actually the other way around, especially if the men in the story want to bone his wife. Men will throw other men under the bus without hesitation if there’s a chance of sex as a reward.

I wouldn’t claim to be Chad but I’ve slept with probably 30 women in 15 years (married for 7). Having this much experience with women just makes relationships vacuous and pointless. It gotten to the point where I don’t even see them as people anymore but more of a past time.

That’s my point. Without the state to transfer wealth to women they’d need betas or a very wealthy alpha. Women with children who are truly independent are a farse
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/19 04:07 PM
0

You’d have to remove the supports like welfare, child support, and abortion to force women to be truly independent. Then they’d start settling earlier because the potential cost of sex would be higher and they’d need a partner to supplement their lifestyle again.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/19 03:29 PM

You need to look up the magic bullet. It’s absolutely geared for women because of the Duluth model. It lays the groundwork to restrict the males access to his children and property which then later is formalized into their divorce decree. My ex wasn’t smart enough to deploy it immediately and then tried later but because I learned fast enough I was able to avoid a DV allegation by always having a witness and picking up my kids in front of the police station.

/r/MGTOW18/03/19 04:32 PM

Maybe, but you asked the question, I gave an answer, if you don't like the social dynamic that is the current market, the onus is on the sellers to drive up the price and demand. Women set the the conditions and guys respond in kind.

Its my personal opinion that "Good Man" is a dying breed because the attributes that made men Good men either go unrewarded at best or end you in divorce court at the hands of spiteful woman. Men en masse have realized this either overtly or through social trends. That's why so few of the high end betas are available now.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/19 07:34 PM

Artificially suppressing access to a good in a market to increase its value only works if every seller in the cartel does the same. It’s a good strategy as long as other women don’t increase availability.

This is exactly what is meant by "lives of quiet desperation". So, here I am..45 years old. Trapped by a mortgage, 2 kids, and a wife who despises me because I have served my purpose and am now "useless" as she says. I used to think that was an insult. But, from her perspective, it is simply the truth. I have performed my functions--provided status, security, and sperm---and now there is no further use for me. The point I am making is that after you get divorced - you can allow or remove people from your life. Its your life. I removed her from my life because I don’t accept drama. I’m the gatekeeper to my own happiness. You are the gatekeeper to your happiness. What many men don't realize is that once you are married, you invite all of her relationships into your life as well, and you can't eject them, once you sign the license you have waived your right to do so. Being able to say "no thanks" is high…

In this way, vulnerability represents a form of power, a deep and subtle form of power. A man who’s able to make himself vulnerable is saying to the world, “I don’t care what you think of me; this is who I am, and I refuse to be anyone else.” He’s saying he’s not needy and that he’s high status. Mark's full of shit. That's textbook confidence, not vulnerability.

Real talk, their best strategy would to be to try and revive traditionalism from it's deathbed. The bare minimum that most guys would settle for is a woman to be nice to them. The OBJA guys and the ones who can't handle loneliness would backslide pretty easily. What's to be seen is if they are capable of playing that card long enough to make it stick, it would take at least 60 years to implement. But then you'd have Feminism in there pushing a contradictory narrative.

Respect from Men seems to be comparatively easier for men. I know some guys are going to yell CUCK! but hear me out: Guys know instinctively and can observe what other men have to do to get taken seriously by other men, and on the flip side, they also are privy to the special treatment attractive women receive when competing for the same treatment. Acquiring respect (the process to get there is harder for men) therefore, by default men tend to take other men more seriously.

She can effectively police and control more of your time if she knows where you are or at least has an idea of where you should be. This in turn begins to degrade her need to go the extra mile on her part because she perceives she has a monopoly on your time and resources so she now has to do less to be appealing to you. Move out and the dynamic changes doesn't it? Because she is now less certain about market competition from outside competitors she doesn't see. This what the red pill calls "dre…

Secondary sex characteristics are indicative of a woman’s ability to bear healthy offspring. This appeals very highly to our lizard brains. That’s why “post wall” women that are talked about in this forum are viewed as less attractive because they’re ability to produce viable offspring is diminished and their secondary sex characteristics like skin, hair, body fat %, breast size, and the size of their butt reflects this.

When I had the epiphany that I was really no more important than a car or fridge to the women in my life, (I'll be honest) I could barely handle the realization, I was on the verge of suicide and in the lowest state of depression I had ever experienced. Oatmeal is dirt cheap and is loaded with nutrients, don't buy the box prepackaged stuff, just get plain old quick oats or steel cut if your feeling fancy. In my early days I survived on Chicken and ground turkey and some frozen vegetables and oatmeal for which amounted to 3.00 a meal said and done. It'll get monotonous but you can throw in some cheaper cuts of beef for not much more when they go on sale if you want too. Also don't buy anything you can't freeze or doesn't have a long self life.

No one, directly teaches men to respect themselves. When was the last time another person told you you deserve more, that your happiness is important, etc? Men are taught to serve from an earlier age and to put others needs above their own, and by doing so, it will make them happy and they will be rewarded for it. It's bullshit.

/r/MGTOW20/12/18 06:51 PM

Divorced women are a prime example. They want to get remarried and in order to do so they have to sell their brand. It's really just marketing by casting the buyer who lost/didn't want the product as the party with the flaw. The product itself is perfect, it (she) just wasn't used right, was mishandled, or they weren't smart enough to read the operator's manual.

I'm at the point in this journey where I'm on the fence about if I'm mgtow, I know plenty of us enjoy the company of women, myself while being able to engage in long periods of time without one, tend to backslide into what amounts to FWB territory. I've come to the conclusion that guys like me are what I call "weaponized bachelorism" because while there are women who would love for me to settle down and marry them, I won't and never will. I'm honest about it, but they never believe me. Which lea…

that could be, few divorces are "the same" so to speak, in my case for instance, my lawyer told me there was no way I would get 50/50 based on my judges ruling records, that and if I got 50/50 they would have then been destitute while at their mothers meant the judge would rule against me simply so that they would have enough to pay rent somewhere and have a roof over their head.

generally, unfortunately a lot of guys don't know what their rights are, or are forced to work more due to child support, etc, there's several reasons it tends to shake out for women to have primary custody, but men wanting it that way is less often than people realize.

Many men cannot have face to face access with their children even if they want to, due to spiteful ex-wives. Some men date out of necessity for some socialization to fill the time between their visitation days. Personally, I'll never get married again, but I'm pretty self sufficient, and only date once and awhile to get laid.

While I understand your rationale, you need to take into account that when women invade and eventually take over male spaces, the do it slowly, and quietly, much like they way they turn men into beta wallets. move in slow, gain rapport, ramp up agreeableness, and then slowly start moving the needle in the direction they want it to go. This space has to be Zero tolerance, there is no other way.

This is the classic" You're never home" mentality at work. The child support system is possibly the governments best kept open secret. I've spoken to people at length about how utterly authoritarian it is and they never believe me until they look into themselves or become a victim of the machine. Usually you get the kind of replies you see there like "Man UP!" "Pay fer yer kids!" but they have no idea about things like false paternity, how paternity can be assigned through contact or involvement, etc. These responses do not surprise me at all.

I'm reserving my judgement for the last season, I think a lot of the strong women are going to get some comeuppance. Dany is not the legitimate heir now that several characters know of John's lineage although he also fucked his aunt so that's messed up. The reason that a lot of women are in power right now for no reason other than the male heirs were all killed in the war of 5 Kings, or though some sort of political machination. I'm going to bet on the Patriarchy being reinstated.

Right. I was talking to a guy recently about the Peterson comment regarding "Enforced Monogamy" and how he misunderstood the term as the government assigning wives basically, and how it was really what we've been doing for the last few hundred years (1:1 husband/wife pair), and how now we have the "20%" basically creating a figurative sexual moat for the 80% of lower value men, due to women's gatekeeping, etc. He was still stuck on the word "enforced".

It's hard to ascribe culpability to a group of people who are largely free of consequence for their actions. Also, I would argue that the lion's share of feminists are in fact, women. Trying to hold women accountable for their actions is a fool's errand for MRAs.
/r/MGTOW01/08/18 02:10 PM

Exactly, It's unfathomable how many Blue Pill people do not understand this. If a few men create a cartel on sexual access, even naturally, it creates dominance power struggles within the group as other males want this same access. For the simple minded, King of the mountain for sex.

Strict no contact would be at least one avenue, You can then at least say you haven't ever contacted her since the order was put in place, and if she contacts you, document it, or even make a report with the police, which if they won't file, will be typical, document that you at least tried by getting the officers name and badge number.

Because of all the feminist garbage they're subjected to; The one show that has done more damage to women everywhere is "Sex in the City" which equates hedonism with actualization, which we all know is not the same thing, and actually occupy different realms of the human spirit as materialism and hedonism create unfillable and ever widening holes in the souls of people who subscribe to those lifestyles.

I don't know if women can really truly understand MGTOW, or at least White bread feminists anyway. I think that our reality is so far removed from their life experiences that it causes so much cognitive dissonance that they just shut down, rather than process it, We're figuratively at the point in the French Revolution where Rousseau wrote about a Princess who said "Let them eat cake" upon learning the masses were starving. On average men spend 35-40% on child support. Alimony is generally case by case because it depends on the difference in income per couple so a stay at home mom for instance, would get way more alimony than someone of a similar income level to their husband.

I got into a pissing match with this other user awhile ago trying to explain to him why a Oligopoly on the Sexual Market is bad for society as a whole in regards to incels. Some other user then distilled this conversation down to me "defending incels" when I was clearly stating why incels are becoming a larger group and more vocal. The leap from Oligopoly to defending incels was troubling for me, and that was when I realized I got pig shit all over my pearls.

MGTOW is varying degrees of detachment from our respective societies, for the American Male it generally means no to blind materialism, resource allocation toward obtaining and maintaining the nuclear family unit, and a redefinition toward what is successful in your own eyes. External validation is no longer important. Take it one day at a time, recognize that these thoughts are the "addiction" talking, and that the "addiction" does not care about you, your life, your happiness, or well-being. It only exists to consume and reward you with a short term high, which is never as good as the time before.

It's fascist but I'm actually fairly pro child licences. I'm very libertarian but this is the one area I agree with. If parents had to meet a set criteria of responsibility and intelligence this would solve 90% of social issues. The problem arises that it is hard to then field an army for cannon fodder, which has been the paradigm for all of human history.

it was compensation because women didn't typically earn money and were a net drain financially.

They have to, because women deal primarily in social capital whereas men are valued more for what they can do. For women who want to remarry, or are openly hypergamous, they have to present themselves as the victim. If not, how else will they attract a beta of similar or higher status.

Men get wealthier after divorce because they care less about spending money on things like clothing, personal care items, food, entertainment, etc. Some men learn to be spendthrift as a result of child support and alimony which translates into better spending habits later in life. Quite spending 8 dollars on a Mochachocabullshit at Starbucks. Incels, at the very basic level, suffer from the self-imposed delusion that they must be validated by others, not just women, to feel happy, successful, and secure. They are jailers of their own personal prisons. They have the key to unlock themselves yet refuse to use it, and then bemoan and blame everyone else for their misery. That is the difference between MGTOW and Incels. We seek validation from no one, except ourselves, not even other MGTOW.

Well I know a 96 year old who is like this, but for the majority of guys, it would appear to me, absent of testosterone treatments, that they generally lose interest in women. The younger women can attract a good man, but the older women will crash and burn. Not even this is true anymore, women are largely weeding out the last of the "good guys" through sexual selection. The next two generations of men are going to fall into two camps, 1)effeminate and 2) Hyper aggressive/masculine which are the extremes of the male behavioral pool. Only one of these will reproduce here. Have fun choosing between thugs and sissies, ladies.

Problem with earning our trust is the long con a lot if not the majority of women play. MGTOWs are aware of this, or at least I am, therefore I can never really trust a woman to respect my boundaries for fear that someday I will find myself at bed, bath, and beyond again, holding her purse while she buys crap we don't need and slowly waiting for death.

You use the term "we" a lot. As in, "We" are a centralized movement with rules and a codified structure. There is no endgame for "the mgtows" because everyone here has different priorities. Sure, it can generally be assumed that no marriage/cohabitation/relationship are generally accepted practices, but those are just guidelines given out generally due to everyone more or less agreeing that you'll lose your sovereignty over yourself if you engage in those practices.

I think it will be higher actually, I surmise by 2025 we'll see the beginning of "the great millenial divorce boom", this is purely conjecture based on the 7 year itch and late marriage practices.

But women who shit-test, use their asymmetric sexual power, and play the victim when it suits them? That’s close to 100%. I work with 95% women. The complete lack of respect, how they talk about their husbands as if they are children and how I can basically identify which ones will be divorcing their husband within a year is frankly enough to make any guy swear off relationships for life. Some of these guys deserve it probably, but a lot of them are just regular joes (betas). Women are never sat…

They come to me honestly. I do about zero work because frankly I have better things to do. And not all MGTOW are monks, I'd say that may actually be a minority of people who accept the philosophy. The only real hard tenets are don't co-habitate and don't get married.

I dunno, I've alpha widowed a couple of women. I still have a FWB thing with one that's been ongoing for a year and a half because she thinks she can win me back even after I told her flat out it's not possible, another contacts me on average every 6 months since 2015 to see if I've "changed my mind about relationships". I think it's unfortunately very plausible.

The worst case scenarios are not the norm. Yes, women can be truly awful. Many of them, however, are not. This subreddit is highlighting the very worst and you therefore get a somewhat exaggerated pessimistic view of the world (which can be strengthened if you've had bad experiences yourself). Women are not evil or worth despising, they are just programmed to be extremely selective and somewhat emotional (which can be irritating). They are, like human beings in general, often selfish. Some people are just shitty people Very true. However, When men are shitty, let's say do something illegal or aggressive. The police will at some point intervene and take him away, and if it doesn't reach the point of legal authorities intervening, women still can "get away". If a woman is a "shitty" person however, she can ruin your whole life (no exaggeration here) on a WHIM. Do you see the difference. Men are hand grenades and women are WMD.

Something else not considered is Billing Codes. MDD is easier to get covered than say "Depression NOS". This means either that the actual depression rate is way higher or that clinicians are using the MDD billing code to cover an umbrella of MI symptoms.

I agree. I wish more incel guys would come to the realization that women do not only, not make you happy, but most of the time make you miserable. They're literally living in misery just to live in a different and worse form of misery. It's like watching a mustang be jealous of a plow horse because he gets to work the fields until he dies.

He missed one other very important factor. Men are a status symbol for women, much like their purse or crossover suv. Having a manbot will be a huge signal that she can't even lock down a beta and is a failure in the eyes of the female social tribunal. Men's happiness has been unaffected because men haven't changed. Exactly. The reason our numbers haven't changed much in mental health is because we are used to struggling to make a life for ourselves. Mates and love were never guaranteed to us. We've always had to work for them unless you were lucky enough to be born rich.

There are no easy answers, conclude Stevenson and Wolfers. They pose the extraordinary question: "Did men garner a disproportionate share of the benefits of the women's movement?" Yes there are. Life is hard for men. They wanted freedom but didn't want to sacrifice security. Men do not generally know security. So now that men are checking out and letting them fend for themselves they are learning that they had a good deal: Less freedom but more security. This buyer's remorse and nothing more.

Uncle Warren is just protecting his asset mix here. He knows who drives consumer spending, he also knows that women have a hard time saving and now possess a lot of the middle to high income jobs. Also he's pretty heavy in banks which still reside mostly on loan interest to generate profit so we have a consumer who is high in debt and spending on goods which typically need replaced frequently. Of course he's going to promote girl power.

About 2013 I was working 60 hours a week to afford a house we had bought when he had more than enough money to float it, then we had two more children and our oldest got very sick. You're not wrong about the dimorphism thing, and from this particular photo, because of the filter it is hard to tell but I'm fairly sure that's a Common Kingfisher, which is, in fact, sexually dimorphic. Females are duller in color than the males. These appear to me, to both be males.
