I used to get flowers on our anniversary and some years my birthday. That's it. Oh, and I got flowers when we went to our first couple's counseling session. I bought my own flowers yesterday, in my favourite color, and took the time to arrange them in a nice vase and set them out where I would see them when I woke up this morning. :)

Oh hon, have you never seen Oceans Eleven? Peak Clooney and very close to peak Pitt (obv Fight Club will always hold that spot), Matt Damon looks pretty good in it, too. Hm... I should go watch it now..... Edit: and it's actually a great movie on top of that, so for if some reason none of those particular men do it for you, it's still worth watching!

They should have to watch a season of MTVs Teen Mom before they're allowed to say teenage girls are mature. Maybe that would change their tune.... when you add in the fact that something like 30% of teenage pregnancies are fathered by men in their 20s, it'd be like getting a little glimpse into their future.

I found this sub right after my husband and I had "the divorce talk." That, combined with reading Why Does He Do That? has brought me much further along in my recovery than I would be otherwise. Same, I only checked it out because it was linked as "the female equivalent of mgtow" and yeah I came to check out all the bitter old women.... and instead found a lovely community of women lifting each other up and calling each other out in their bullshit and helping them leave that bullshit in the past…

I'm new here, but I would say until it's relevant. Why does a man need your last name? He really doesn't, not until way into the relationship. I literally cant think of a single thing he would need it for other than MAYBE booking you a spa day or a nice hotel room or something, but those seem like things that wont happen until further in a relationship anyway.

You can block them from your stories without blocking entirely. Go to your story settings and there will be like "hide stories from" and you can put him there.

Hell, I bought my husband a ps4 that was about 2-3x my budget one year simply because I couldnt figure out what else to get him and I wanted to make sure I got something he liked. I didnt even get a present that year. It was "coming in the mail," and I finally stopped checking the mailbox around valentine's day.
