And that's great. However thats her personality, to have any expectations of the other person because she put on extra makeup is mental. Like if my personality is to be very chivalrous, if would be mental for me to have any expectations for her to pay me back... However ton of women use the "I spent time looking nice for the day" as an excuse to then expect their date to treat them like a queen.

Oh but I was, as dates can be really fun if it feels like I don't have to put on a facade. It's not th activity it self that's the problem.

First, what? If your internshiping in a relationship, you would still have your Job... Second, I'm not from America, so we have not insane (aka normal) labor standards and internships are paid positions.

Yaaa, that's not what my point was...... I just ment it as if ALL people had a 4 month internship in a healthy relationship it would solve a ton of problems in the dating world.

It makes dating a hell of a lot less one sided

Not that I can see. I asked my friend why she doesn't date guys younger than her and she said it made her feel like she was robbing a cradle. It didn't even matter how much younger. I mean double standards are becoming a thing. Where when a woman asks how tall a guy is, he asks her how much she weighs.

You were so nervous because you liked us so much that you messed up a bit what you were going to say, but that made you more adorable to us. Yaaa, that never how that actually works. Are you sure you not starting at "she is already very interested in him" line? As men have to start at the "I have her curiosity but she isn't interested in him yet, he needs to make her interested in him" line.

What is men actually cares about a womans personality and there for the physical type isn't as important. Moreover what is the personality type isn't a simple type, but a well rounded person that they have some stuff in common with. Given all of that, your "specific" goes out the window.

Then why do so many women rejected the idea of approaching men?

I actually think it's just the easiest a d more normal way to determine attraction. Like what's the most sure fire way to know if a girl is interested in you? Signals, na those change per girl and guys miss them. She sleeps with you, blam. I would continue this argument with the fact that women don't have this metric because of how easy it is to get into a man's pants, hents why a lot of women are insecure about men's intention. Moreover when a guy doesn't sleep with a women is causing even more…

That she went to all that trouble choosing an outfit and doing her makeup and it's not "performative"? Straight up, I didn't ask her out so she could put on makeup and fuss about her clothes. I asked her out so I could get to know her personality, so it she looks presentable we are good. The rest is just extra work she is putting in for her self.

For one, not having to feel like I need to impress my date, or worrying about how if I say one wrong thing this ick will appear... Maybe I want her to get to know my personality before judging me for superficial things. Like dating as a guy is just straight up dehumanizing. For example, doing something on the first day might kill the relationship in its tracks, but doing the same thing on the third or fourth date won't kill the relationship. It feels so extremely shallow.

Really my gf got 3 Reddit dms for just posting a picture on a hair subreddit asking if she should cut her hair long or short. One guy wanted to buy her hair for $400

You joke, but this would actually address a ton of the current day issues. Ps: replace gf with partner for sex equality.

Hell some women in their 20s don't want to date men in their 20s.

Yep. I would say womans biggest filters for men are they have to be taller than her and older. Most women don't like dating someone shorter than them, in heals. Most women don't like to date men younger than them, even more so if the men are much younger.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
