I'm not sure I understand very well either, haha (new at this). The basic idea though is that you behave very unnaturally around people when you are attracted to them. Seems like there might be a larger problem with your game than the just the act of gushing. Your frame includes your attraction to her, and it shouldn't (as you end up making these mistakes). Regardless, talking about it with a friend works just as well as talking to the girl in my experience. Also - spin plates!

You mention primal... but seduction really is a primal art. I mean, it's essentially exploiting the biological tendencies of human beings. Seduction is about fitting into the role of the biologically superior male for the purpose of mating. So with this in mind, it doesn't surprise me at all that alpha behavior would be met with violence, but I agree - I don't think I've ever seen it mentioned on seddit or in the materials I've been reading.

Noob here - the DiCarlo ladder, at least the first half (the ladder half, not the ramp), was very useful for me. Having only read Magic Bullets and bits and pieces of other stuff, it helped me out probably more than anything else. Simple stages and the simple distinction between incidental and overt. Easy to remember, easy to apply; great for noobs. EDIT: I dislike the ramp because I feel that most new PU disciples are too busy overcoming AA to worry about LMR and the final stages of an f-close.…

I make a list in my phone. I go over it / add to it when taking a leak or a lull in between sets. Then after that night I go through and sort them by where and when I met them and I jot down their distinguishing characteristics, in case I run into them again. It doesn't really help if you bump into someone with no time to prep, but I do what I can because I have a terrible memory... Also, I don't drink when I'm out specifically to pick people up. That helps too.

Every opportunity you don't take is definitely a loss. I have that pretty much verbatim as my phone's banner so I feel guilty for pulling it out and fiddling with it in social situations, haha. Interesting comment. I hate dance game, personally, even though grinding is hella fun when it works out. It's when it doesn't that it can be completely frame-breaking. That's why such direct openers are bad, in my opinion, especially for daygame. You open by introducing yourself, but you basically need another opener to keep the conversation going. I think that a situational opener, like deadmedicine's, is a better option. My problem is that I love situational openers, but they don't work in bars because it's always the same old situation - drunk, loud, maybe a fight, maybe a band, etc.

I am possibly the worst dancer I know and I've still had moderate success on the floor. It's not really about your moves, but how you present yourself - you are having the time of your life. Simplest way of putting it is that seduction is a means to an end. Whatever that end is, is up to you.
