I remember my mother getting a credit card in her name when I was a child in the 70s. It was a highly important law. My father was an unreliable alcoholic, she was forced to work for herself anyway.

I am so glad for threads like this. It has validated my thoughts and further opened my eyes to the abuse and violence I have had to endure my entire life. The misogyny is so pervasive it was hard to see, but now I can't unsee it.

Yes. I was abused by my father, my brother and my uncles, as well as non family men. Oh yeah, definitely my husband! The hard thing is to think of men I HAVE NOT been abused by.

Yes this. My eyes have been opened to projection and I can't unsee it now. Men do this all the time.

Good for you!!! I had a man invite me to his house recently, for a third date....for "drinks". Hahahahaha. They are so lame.

I would truly love to believe there is a good man out there who wont put me through crap, but I'm starting to believe that's just a fairy tale.

Maybe that is what makes them so angry, that we are validating each other and helping each other AVOID THEM!

This happened to me. My ex-husband wanted me to talk about my sexual traumas during sex because it excited him. Men are so sick.

This is the problem, they do not see us as human beings, just props. I truly wonder if any man sees any woman as human anymore. They enjoy the public displays because they are showing their petty power.

Lately Ive been realizing, they hate you because you are a woman, period. They don't need any other reason.

It's the exact opposite of what love would say. Love tries to make you feel good about yourself. But men don't love so....

Thank you for writing this. It helped me. I thought a man I dating was one thing, and then he really deteriorated. People fall apart sometimes. I just did not see it coming nor could I have seen it.

Thanks for this link, it's very interesting. It does not really talk about hate in the sense of hating someone because they harmed you, which I struggle with because men have hurt me so much in my life. I'm not sure how to get over the hate I feel.

I think a lot of men are completely allergic to personal responsibility. I'm not sure it was always this way....it seems men in the past were more responsible, because they had to be, society expected them to be? Like, think of Charles Ingalls from Little House on the Prairie. If he did not plow the field, it would not get plowed or planted and they would be hungry and poor. The consequences were very clear if a man refused to be a man. Not so much today. Just a thought... I had a male friend wh…

What does that say? It says to me, men simply do not care about women as actual people, only as bodies with which they can have sex. That's all and that's it. My husband abandoned me after 22 years, three children, and an auto-immune diagnosis.

Thinking about this list, my ex-husband failed at misogynist. That's enough to obliterate the rest of the list. His coping skills were yelling, anger, blaming, ignoring, stealing and lying.

Yes I've seen that kind of information. Men can find a woman so easily, to serve them. Women cannot find a man to do that. Incels are men who cannot even perform the extreme basics like make a decent salary. Then they wonder why women avoid them. They really are that dense. Men need to feel in power and in control of a woman. Back when women were more dependent, men could be as nasty as they wanted. If a man feels less than a woman, he will hate her. And truthfully, men hate women for no good re…

Yes they expect women to serve and submit. I've been attacked numerous times about my face, which is a beautiful face. They cannot handle it.

Yes, exactly! They can't even take care of themselves.

I'm so glad I found this sub Reddit.it has helped me so much with proper perspective. Men are so hostile that you can't even talk about how hostile they are.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
