You're sooooo wrong. There have been plenty of cases where if you appear as a father in the eyes of the state then you still owe child support. These cases often result in money that has already been paid not being recoverable by the "father". Also they state can sue men even if they are not biologically related for social welfare benefits received on the child's behalf by the mother. Men's rights groups have been fighting this shit for ages.
