If you think about the phrase “people don’t want to hear that younger women can be consenting adults”, why? Why wouldn’t we? What would we gain from it? Have you actually heard people say that or is it hyperbole? Have you instead just heard people say young er people should stick to a similar age range? The stigma of age gap relationships is exactly why people don't want to think of younger women like that. Obviously there are unacceptable cases (minor, abuse, etc etc etc) But morally there is n…

Well. Unless it's a guy clearly wanting a relationship with someone "barely legal" I feel like young women get shamed out of it quite a bit. I get flack for being 21 and dating someone who just turned 30 but nobody likes to ask about the dynamic of the relationship before assuming it's some kind of grooming. I can guarantee you it's not but people don't want to hear that younger women are still consenting adults.

Honestly, peace. Even small stuff like cleaning is a step towards that goal, because once I'm done I can relax in a clean house. I work to afford the utilities that keep my home warm and livable. I spend my money on things that bring me joy or help me make/do something that brings joy. My end goal is a quiet, semi isolated life where I choose what I want to do simply because I feel like doing it. Most men (that I've interacted with, anyway) want kids which are pretty much the opposite of all of …

The thing I don't like about these types of questions is that they almost always insinuate that women go after the most conventionally attractive man by default. The reality is that "most attractive" doesn't translate to "every single woman's type". Like for example I personally prefer short stocky guys, which doesn't really fall into the "conventionally attractive" stereotype. And there are many such cases, every woman is different. So to answer your question... Lots of qualities would. Humor i…

Can you give an example of how women could do that? I get what you're saying but I'm not sure to what extent.

I'm not saying it's unfair in that sense, the primary parent should be their focus. It's not always the mother who's the primary parent though. Social services likes to take their sweet time with enforcing child support if the mother has to pay, like months if not years if I remember correctly. That's unfair. They've also "lost" paperwork my parents submitted to lower the amount when I turned 18, among other screwed up things. This may be a personal gripe against my area's social services office…

Idk there's a lot that goes into divorce. Kids, house, any other shared property, etc etc etc all make it more complicated. My parents divorced 15 years ago and they had the opposite experience where my dad lived basically in poverty while my mom got promotions and raises and did really well for herself. it's still like that with them today but I guess you could blame that on their spending/saving habits. I think the belief that divorce favors women kind of stems from social services (child supp…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
