Duke Lacrosse was crazy - if those kids weren’t rich they would have been railroaded into prison

Yeah he errored there but fuck, given all the shit police get just for doing their jobs and then get hung to dry by city hall I can understand why he didn’t aggressively prevent her from getting into the car.

Because Canada is full of pussies

Which is insane. If anything taking an intoxicant before committing a crime should make the sentence worse!

The problem with the death penalty is that it sometimes kills innocent people. That’s it. That’s the only problem. Murderers deserve to fucking die. Useless meat husks with no redeeming value.

No, people. Society may give women a pass more often but it’s rampant everywhere. “He had a rough childhood” Also gets used a lot to justify criminality.

He was put in jail for 3 weeks, she isn’t even getting arrested. She lost nothing and made him suffer in jail while his mom died and he couldn’t go be with her.

She needs to get charged with filing a false police report at the very least.

Very good additional info - thanks

And the state didn’t have enough evidence w/o her testimony. So again - not going to trial = better than a not guilty verdict.

Yeah it’s even stronger - it means the state didn’t even have enough evidence to continue pressing charges. Charges dropped = better than a not guilty verdict. Remember jury is always instructed that if they think someone is guilty but there is reasonable doubt they have to vote not guilty. Too many people forget that cornerstone of our justice system.

Yeah she did something wrong. This struck a raw nerve, it could have waited until the news was less fresh, not literally an hour or two from release. Tact and respect are important.

The problem is the stigma attached to sex work. Using your body for money (sex or “regular” labor) is the same thing unless your a religious fundamentalist.

Not sure what that has to do with what I am saying. Judging an entire gender as one entity is stupid.

Pretty sad, try to get out more. Claiming women are X is no different then women saying men are trash. Neither is appropriate as the individual characteristics matter more than the gender when it comes to morals, attitude and beliefs.

“Women” LoL really the entire gender?

The DA offered him an easy deal the judge had to step and say fuck that which then led to him fleeing.

No dude it isn’t lenient. Several people have gotten less than a year in jail for rape. And don’t even get me started on rich fucks like Polanski.

Uh he was still professional tier. Pretty sure she can beat 99.9% of all men in the world in tennis because she has trained for it whereas most men have not.

Their movies make money. That is their point. That is their purpose. Their success rate indicates genius. When was the last MCU movie to lose money?

You mean “paint by the numbers genius that 90% of Marvel movies successfully pull off” The formula is not complicated, nor is the plot. But it has action, memorable characters and humor. Almost every Marvel movie is entertaining and what movies should aspire to be. Fun.

Pain that isn’t remembered doesn’t cause trauma. Recent study show 1/20 people wake up on the operating table but only 1/18000 remember. The people who remember have PTSD, nightmares etc the people who didn’t don’t. Also as someone who had to get circumcised as an adult I really ducking wish I had it done as a baby. Fuck night time boner stitch ripping 😭😭😭

Huh you’d think with gay acceptance there would be a place for gay guys who are abused by male partners to go to. Seems odd that they are left out in the cold even if you believe the silly arguments that women don’t physically hurt men at times.

I think the idea is if her defense wasn’t predicated on her being a woman there was no attempt to use PP.

That and a lot of criminals are idiots. They tend to not be very good at long term planning.

I don’t see an issue with that. We can all agree that legitimate acts of sexual assault should lead to careers being ruined and possible jail time, yes? The cleaning out of the cess pool in Hollywood is awesome. While we need to be on guard to false accusations I don’t have a problem if the economy takes a dip and the trash gets taken out.

“Male problem of sexual violence” are your words and you may have meant just groping but to me that implies the broader scope of sexual violence which includes rape. Furthermore the argument is inherently dishonest. No guy thinks ‘society lets women grope men so it must be OK if men grope women’ No one believes it is OK for men to grope women without consent. The fact that there is a double standard is an issue but it never excuses bad behavior. TLDR: two wrongs don’t make a right
/r/MensRights22/11/17 04:50 PM
1

Um no. While the double standard is absurd do not make excuses for pieces of shit who do rape.

The gestalt nerd hive mind mental image of the guy that gets laid for all the “wrong” reasons while they don’t.

Yeah not sure how he thinks he is going to win after destroying evidence.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
